Great New York Law - First Arrest

A few months ago an 11 year old girl named Leandra was killed when the driver of the car in which she was a passenger decided to drink and drive. The driver crashed into another car which killed Leandra. As a result a new law was passed in New York which makes an arrest for DWI with a child in the car an aggravated DWI and a felony. The person also is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Well, yesterday afternoon the smiling woman above was the first person arrested under the new law. Reanna Reidpath was arrested after police spotted her swerving on a highway and pulled her over and she blew a .204. The legal limit is .08. In Reanna's car was her 9 year old daughter.

What makes people do this? To not only put your life in danger and others but your child? Seriously? And in the middle of the afternoon? I can't believe she is actually f**king smiling in her mug shot.
