Does Quick Trim Pay US Weekly Also?

It is bad enough that I have to hear Kim and Khloe Kardashian telling the world they lost all their weight through some quick fix thing. What also sucks is that apparently the same company must be paying US Weekly as well. I don't know why else they would run such a crap story. At some event Tuesday night the magazine asked Kris Kardashian how Kourtney was going to lose the baby weight. OK stop. First of all why are you even asking the question before the baby is born? Why are you asking the mom? Judging from her answer it sounds like she wanted US to ask the question. Here is the answer.

"I'm going to do it with Kourtney. Kourtney is going to do it for after the baby. We are very excited."

Is this the healthiest thing for a new mom to be doing? I guess there won't be any breast feeding because you know that stuff would get in the system of the baby. So, basically what Kris is saying and what US is endorsing is that the most important thing in the world after the baby is born is to make money and lose weight quickly. Whoo hoo! Hooray for technology.

  1. Oh, this made me sad. You are so right, Enty. She hasn't even HAD her baby yet and they're already pushing her to lose weight. This society is FUCKED up. I don't care for the Kardashians at all but that kind of mindset is just WRONG.

  2. If she wants to loose the weight naturally, breast feeding combined with a balanced diet will take care of it. All those extra calories going to the baby will knock off the majority of the weight in a reasonable time frame.

But, she'll want to be on the cover of some magazine 3 weeks post birth, so that isn't gonna happen.

And yet I read another article where Kourtney (whichever one is pregnant) was saying she was going to breast feed so she wouldn't have to cook for five years. Are they just abysmally ignorant? Is anyone considering the welfare of the baby here?

  5. I think nutrition is the least of this child's problems. Look at the parents... Eeek.

  6. She's already come out and said that she doesn't like being as big as she is. I can't believe how incredibly shallow that family is. You are bringing a new life into the world and you're worried about how you look.

  7. I heard Bruce Jenner interviewed on a syndicated radio show last week, and he was saying what normal, sweet, shy young ladies all the Kardashian girls are.

    Right. And I'm Mother Teresa.

  8. Baba, the Kardashian girls prbably give interviews saying Bruce Jenner is aging naturally, also. The whole bunch is disgusting.
