ReplyDeleteloved her as luann...and loved her in 'uptown girls'.
ReplyDeletestill can't believe she's gone. :(
RIP Brit.
ReplyDeleteI love the tribute video.
Thanks Enty.
god... she could have done anything with the rest of her career. very sad loss.
ReplyDeletei had forgotten about the girl interupted role...
ReplyDeleteShe was also HILARIOUS in Drop Dead Gorgeous. If you haven't seen it, you need to.
ReplyDeleteVery, very sad. Thanks for posting the video Enty.
Heather - yep, my brother and I were talking about how funny she was in Drop Dead Gorgous. I also had forgotten about Girl, Interrupted. I'm gonna have a hard time watching that one again.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone read the BI on blindgossip revealed to be Brittany? Sad.
ReplyDeleteGreat talent. RIP Brittany. :-(
ReplyDeleteThanks for this, Enty.
Even sadder is I don't think she will be a wake-up call to any of the others out there. Everyone thinks it isn't them who has the addiction.
ReplyDeleteSo very sad. RIP Brittany.
ReplyDeleteOh, Brittany....how did you NOT know just how beautiful you were???
ReplyDelete@ Genisis...I saw that too. One Oreo if she could stay under 1200 calories. it said her ex told her she was fat. Ashton is an asshole.
ReplyDeletesorry Genesis.
ReplyDelete32 year olds just should not drop dead. If you'd asked me last week, I'd have put money on her *husband* dropping dead unexpectedly.
ReplyDeleteShe was supremely talented as an actress and a voiceover artist. I had forgotten how beautiful her eyes were.
Nice musical tribute. I feel so badly for her family, to have this happen right before the holidays.
@ Genesis .. Dayum!! One more f*cking reason to hate Ashton. He was also apparently evil to January Jones. Jag off .. maybe that explains why Brittany stayed with this dude she was married to?? Insecurity about finding anyone better??
ReplyDeleteThat video and song damn near killed me .. I couldn't watch the whole thing.
I have never seen it .. but apparently "Spun" is no You Tube .. Part One of 13 is here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szt1myQBTIg&NR=1
ReplyDeleteGonna go watch it now ..
Or how about .. ON You Tube? : /
ReplyDelete@sunny, its ok it happens all the time
ReplyDelete@will I never really liked ashton to begin with, something about him always said not trutworthy, he doesnt like girls with some meat on them, I hope mo'nique catches wind. *snickers*
Clueless is one of the few movies that I have completely memorized. No lie. I watched it so much when it came out when I was in elementary school. I remember downloading it in college and still having it memorized. Watched it a few weeks ago, and I've still got it down perfectly. I'm definitely watching it tonight.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pictures. I've been getting sadder about this as the day progresses.
ReplyDeleteHeather- DDG is one of my favorite movies. It gets funnier the more I watch it.
ReplyDeleteHer untimely death is just so sad.
Geez, her eyes, her whole face is so full of LIFE in all these picture. Then you look at recent candids, and the light behind her eyes is just... gone. RIP Brittany.
ReplyDeleteGirl, Interrupted was amazing! She was so great as Daisy Randone. The flame that burns twice as bright only burns half as long.
ReplyDeleteBrittany was one of the few pretty actresses of her generation that could do character acting. She was really an actress who happened to be gorgeous, not a cute girl who got pushed in front of cameras.
ReplyDeleteShe had suburb timing and was a great comedic actress as well. She could do physical comedy too, and didn't mind looking like an idiot for the laugh.
Tai is one of my favorite movie characters. "You're a virgin who can't drive."
the best i ever saw her was 'the dead girl.' she was heartbreaking in that movie. if you haven't seen it---do. i wasn't nuts about the movie but i was really touched by her.
ReplyDelete@Genesis.. So sad when beautiful women are made to feel like shit by the men they are with. It happens so frequently. Emotional abuse is terrible.
ReplyDeleteThat video is terrible to watch. The song just makes it worse. Hopefully some good will come from this.
This is just too sad to put to words.
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend and I are/were massive King Of The Hill fans and we always used to talk about how talented Brittany Murphy was and how she did Luanne's voice so well... Like when she sang The Manger Babies Theme Song. That was just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteShe was also on an early episode of Sister Sister. She was my fave actress. She was quirky & natural and that appealed to me. May she rest in peace. My condolences to the family. The shock still hasn't worn off.
ReplyDeleteHey hoosier, Ive seen that story play out all too well. We've told her (a friend) to leave and that she doesn't need him but she just doesn't want to.
ReplyDeletevery sad.
britney's weight issues began way before ashton.
ReplyDeleteThis is the exact same tribute / series of photos as the one on the Huffington Post. Lazy!
ReplyDeletePoor Brittany....RIP. :(
ReplyDeleteENT!
ReplyDeleteHOW could you leave out the "Faster Pussycat" video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elac83wehSQ
I really hate saying this because I don't wish anyone dead but why couldn't have been someone else who died. there are so many people out there that are just a waste of space. Watching this video really made me realize how the good ones always are the first to go. :(
ReplyDeleteUgh. I hope Ashton Kutcher is truly haunted by all of this. What a shit.
ReplyDeleteI've read a lot of nasty, snarky comments about her plastic surgery -- and I agree it went way overboard -- but I have always thought she was really cute. Even post surgery, she just had a certain cuteness about her. I feel for her family.
