E! Online has the shocker of the day. Well actually I guess the shocker of the day was that Tiger Woods has managed to keep the women count under a dozen. But in other shocking news, Jessica Simpson is dating Billy Corgan. Yes, the same Billy Corgan who was at the top of your iPod and now could be some kind of punchline to a joke. Really? I never saw Billy getting involved in a tabloid relationship. Oh sure there was the whole Tila Tequila debacle, but really, other than that he has been pretty good about not letting himself get dragged into this kind of situation.
The E! News source says the couple consider themselves to be officially dating. Neither rep would comment on the rumor probably because Joe Simpson was wondering how he could use this to his advantage and the people at Billy's were probably crying.
I have nothing against Jessica. I like her. I can say that and mean it. I don't particularly care for her dad and I think Ashlee could be the second coming of hell, but Jessica I like. I just don't like the idea of this relationship at all.
I always got a gay vibe from Billy and thought he would have come out by now, but he's had enough stories linking him to all sorts of women that my gaydar is clearly off.

ReplyDeleteI'm not particularly fond of Jessica, but she is definitely the lesser of the two evils. I think she's been treated really poorly in the press in regard to her relationships - I hate them portraying her as some dejected old maid at age 29. It's a pretty sexist story line.

ReplyDeleteI like Jessica, too. I think she gets treated more harshly in the press than she deserves. Several people I know saw her out and about shopping and eating while she was living in Nashville recording her country album. They all said that she was very normal, never called attention to herself, didn't travel with an entourage, and didn't have any "do you know who I am" attitude. They also said that she is very little which explains why her weight seems to swing up and down so quickly. If you're short, even five pounds can make you look suddenly very heavy.

I don't mind JS at all, though she has been wearing baggy baggy clothes since everyone tore her apart last week for wearing that too small silver dress thingy. Hmm. She probably doesn't know who he is and thinks she is dating "the guy from Nirvana" or something dumb like that. Good for her though, at least he's not Tony Romo or Slutty Mayer. Thanks for mixing it up Jes, I am looking forward to reading about them together.
