Another Bachelor Couple Bites The Dust
One of the longer lasting Bachelor couples has decided to call it quits. Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado have been engaged for five years but that engagement and their relationship has come to an end. I didn't watch the show but I remember seeing that he had proposed to her in Spanish so her parents would understand what he was saying.
They were probably the most interesting couple to watch after the show. Delgado was arrested for assault when she punched Velvick in the mouth while intoxicated. That was back in 2007 but despite that they managed to stay together for a couple of more years. Velvick confirmed the split to US Weekly but Mary hasn't said a word.
She could pass for Eva Mendes' sister.
ReplyDeleteThese Bachelor shows are such a joke.
ReplyDelete*yawns*
ReplyDeleteENGAGED FOR 5 YEARS, THAT SAYS AN AWFUL LOT...
ReplyDeleteByron was my all-time fave Bachelor. Outta the way Mary, I still got a chance.
ReplyDeleteOh wait, he fishes for a living.
Nevermind.
She's the one who was all hung up over bachelor Bob, ugh.
ReplyDeletewhat? i've never heard of either of them. i so need to start watching more tv.
ReplyDeleteI watched that one. Mary was baby-crazy. Like totally dying to procreate the second the show ended. I'm surprised she stayed with Byron for so long, considering that she's 42 now.
ReplyDeleteHmm. IMDb lists a 2010 show called "American Marriage" starring the two of them. Too much pressure, I guess.
What shazzzba and Pookie said.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I hardly think it was a positive thing that they remained a couple after the drunken violence. I cannot believe that was an isolated incident. Probably just the only one that got police attention. It's possible Mary isn't talking because Byron punched her in the mouth this time.
