Someone Needs To Tell Lindsay Lohan No
I know there seems to be a Lindsay Lohan story everyday, but she brings it on herself. Well, not entirely. Today even though there is more bad behavior from Lindsay, I am more upset at the world of enablers around her which seems to encourage this behavior. On Friday I posted a picture of Lindsay at a jewelry event at Kitson for Pascal Mouawad. Lindsay got paid to be there and was given $500 in store credit. According to PopTarts, she got that increased to $1000.
Well, Lindsay went nuts in the store and the next thing you know she had $15,000 worth of stuff and wanted it all for free. She yelled and threatened and got her credit up to $2000 but the store wouldn't budge without the permission of the owner of the store. Lindsay then huffed and puffed and started talking smack about Pascal to Jermaine Dupri who was the host of the event. Jermaine had no idea who Lindsay even was. Love it.
Lindsay promised to come back the next day and take pictures with shopping bags if the store would just let her have her $15K worth of stuff. The store wouldn't budge. Good for them. Lindsay told the store she would be back the next day for the rest of the stuff but never showed up.
Meanwhile, this guy Pascal was asked about Lindsay and he didn't care at all she was acting like she did.
“Lindsay is a close friend of mine, who has a keen eye for jewelry,” Mouawad told us. “We have thrown around the idea to collaborate together to create an exclusive line for a retailer who has shown interest in a fashion line designed by her.”
Really? She was talking smack about him, embarrassed him and he still wants to work with her? Someone just needs to tell her no and maybe if enough people tell her no she wouldn't feel like she could get away with all of this stuff and finally realize she needs help.
of course he still wants to work with her..look at all the free press he's getting!
ReplyDeleteand lindsay, hun, please wash and brush your hair.
IS THE MADE UP OF IDIOTS ? OR DO THEY JUST ORBIT LINDSAY LOHAN ?
ReplyDeleteThese people invited her, paid her, and let her tantrum her way into quadrupling the amount of freebies. They probably knew she'd make a scene of some sort and that it would garner them a lot of free publicity.
ReplyDeleteThey're the idiots. Before she was 20 years old she'd already made more money than I will earn in my lifetime, she's managed to piss it all away, and they GIVE her shit and expect working people to PAY for the same stuff?
Someone please explain to me how this marketing strategy is supposed to work.
Why do they even give this chick free publicity?!?! Just ignore her and she will go away.
ReplyDeleteShe has an eye for jewelry, hehe.
ReplyDeleteThis completely contradicts the story on celebitchy. Maybe he was hedging his bets with the "she is my close friend quote" and changed his tune once he heard stories that she was talking trash?
ReplyDeleteone good grudge fuckin' with a wood rasp would cure this bitch. Her obituary can't come fast enough for me.
ReplyDeleteseems she wants everything for free--how about getting a job?
ReplyDeleteDidn't she also have a good eye for fashion and look how that turn out LOL.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they keep inviting her to these things?? Wholelottaluv is right, they ARE idiots.
ReplyDeleteWord, Enty. She is insane, and these jackasses are not only enabling her but inflating her already delusional sense of self-importance.
ReplyDeleteDoes this REALLY translate to more sales for Pascal/Kitson/whoever? I'm skeptical. I's like to see some proof. Then I might be able to understand it better.
Unfortunately, she only wants the jewels just to pawn them for drug money. Lindsay, PLEASE get help before it's too late!
ReplyDelete...and I agree, these people are just idiots. STOP enabling this poor girl, she needs help, not blood sucking leeches that just want to exploit her for their own publicity! Is there no one out there who cares enough to actually help her, or at least try? BTW Develdana, that's a horrible thing to say, you obviously don't have any children.
ReplyDeleteAnnouck-
ReplyDeleteI do have a child who is at the moment serving our country in Afghanistan, not wasting valuable oxygen and flesh. This piece of shit has had every opportunity to straighten up, but thinks in her head that the world revolves around her. The sooner she is gone the better- she doesn't deserve any more chances- so.... , no never mind
Have a nice day.
She shows up, staggers down the red carpet, maybe slips a nip or other body parts, steals, gets drunk, does coke in the bathroom and maybe a guy and/or a girl while she's at it and the tabs eat it up while mentioning the event/store/bar/ or restaurant.
ReplyDeleteIt's a winning situation for everyone, right?
She should have went to jail for stealing the coat a couple of years ago.
Devildana,
ReplyDeleteGod bless(and keep safe) your brave son/daughter. It doesn't change the fact that I still don't think you should be wishing anyone dead, especially someone elses daughter. God knows she's got idiots for parents and is a product of her environment. Obviously you are a better parent than Dina and Michael Lohan.
Let's bash celebrities and not each other please.
ReplyDeleteand short of stalking or actually causing physical harm to a celeb, no blow is too low.
Someone needs to be blunt with this girl. Enabling her any further is only going to kill her. Why can't these idiots see that? Or are all of them (not talking about her parents here 'insert eyeroll') that desperate for free publicity? STOP THE MADNESS!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Annouck and with those that mentioned these people are enabling Lindsay's behaviour.
ReplyDeleteHer downward spiral seems to be speeding up as of late, hopefully she'll hit bottom soon. This girl desperately needs to be in a hospital. I saw on another site that someone apparently filmed her recently this weekend doing blow with Greasy Bear in a bathroom and even Perez (who I dislike) has been crowing about some bad drug behaviour from this past weekend.
Someone did: Sam Ronson.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what you mean Pimp Named DaveR? I thought Sam encouraged her to go straight?
ReplyDeleterock bottom for drug addicts is death, right? so we do not want her to hit rock bottom. maybe one step above the bottom.
ReplyDeletethis is heartbreaking...thing is, there's probably no one in the lindsay camp who has the big ones to say STOP. :(
ReplyDeleteas for pascal...hell, he doesn't care. she can talk smack about him all he wants, he's getting press, that's all that's important to him. i know i'd never heard of him until right this second.
Now, I've been known to wear some hole-y clothes, but that thin, raggedy t-shirt under that ratty corset was trash-bin potential. Or good for working out, or perhaps fishing.
ReplyDeleteBut to push a designer's sh*t?
Ratty-ass, slag whore junky.
@Quint - no, it's where there's no lower you can go, you've lost everything and only death or institutionalization is next (in rehab-speak)
ReplyDeleteAs I've said on here before, promoters/businesses invite Lindsay, *knowing she'll be an ass*, to get the free publicity. Believe me, this store got more than $2,000 worth of publicity. Hell, they probably did get $15K worth out of her.
ReplyDeleteThis behavior and level of notoriety will ensure that dies about 50 years prematurely.
The worst part is that Michael and Dina will take to the airwaves, internet, and magazines to see who can fling the most mud and assign the most blame.
Lindsay has great style. F the haters.
ReplyDeleteI don't think people understand that she doesn't want help. Her "cries for help" are only a temporary respite from her crazy lifestyle. It lasts for a couple of days, til she feels better and got the needed attention. Then the cycle starts again. I felt extremely sorry for her until I hear of her demanding free liquor, stealing, acting like a entitled idiot. Sorry, she's not a little girl and if she had half a brain would realize what people, the media, Hollywood were saying about her. Take a break, slow down, get some education, disappear for a year or 2. Yes her parents are a-holes (so were mine) but you get to a point where it's you, not them.
