Alexander Skarsgard told Radar last night that he isn't dating anyone special right now and that he and Kate Bosworth are just friends. Of course the fact that Kate showed up with Alexander but took the long way around so she wouldn't be photographed on the red carpet makes me think something is continuing to go on. (The other thing would be the picture of them together inside the party where they thought they would be free from prying eyes. Wrong as you can see above) The one good thing is that he doesn't appear to be with or have ever been with Evan Rachel Wood.
Alexander did talk about the new season of the show True Blood but didn't get asked or at least Radar didn't print any statement about Alexander giving producers a hard time about screen time. There have been lots of rumors floating around that he thinks he is the biggest star and should be given the most screen time.
Like others have said previously, Alexander says there is a lot more nudity and that Eric will be having lots of sex with men and women. Oh, and violence. Lots of violence.
I think your interpretation of the story is very wrong. I'd rather believe the horse's mouth than some unsubstantiated rumors from anonymous sources. Alex is not American, he's Swedish, he would have no reason to deny seeing someone...unlike American actors.
ReplyDeleteI think actors of ANY nationality deny who they're dating because they feel it's really none of our business, and they're trying to keep it private. I personally don't care who they date as it doesn't affect me in the least.
ReplyDeleteAnd just because he's Alex is hotter than the main vampire protagonist doesn't mean he automatically gets more screen time. It's not a beauty contest. It's a damn show which will eventually fade like most others. Non?

ReplyDeleteI'm just glad that he denied the Evan Rachel Wood rumor. I could care less about Bosworth, but ERW is a freak who sleeps with married men and has sex in music videos (not just simulated). Apparently Enty feels the same way.

he's either very professional or just a personable guy IMO. notice he uses everyone's names when answering the questions...i think that's classy and a nice touch.

ReplyDeleteWhether he's the one who thinks he's the biggest star on TB or not, fact is, HE IS. He completely stole the show last season, and Alan Ball and HBO would be wise to give the fine Viking Vampire plenty more screen time. While they are at it, I'd like to see more Pam and Lafayette, too. And I heartily endorse the increase in nudity and sex.
ReplyDeleteHe's been an actor since he was a child, he's always had a reputation of being very professional and since he signed on knowing the material was mainly about Sookie, and not his character I would find this a hard rumor to believe. The source material has been changed somewhat but not enough to shift the entire story line of the series.
