ReplyDeleteShakira must be wearing Spanx or a girdle because I saw her on Saturday Night Live with her stomach bare and she is quite trim and has a nice flat stomach but is not skinny by any means. She's a very tiny lady.

I believe it was Catherine Deneuve who said it's either your ass or your face (if you eat enough to have more fat in your face, you have more fat in your ass). I believe Catherine chose to keep her face (and put on weight) and she's probably much happier than these veiny stars could ever be. She's hotter than some 35 year olds!
Shakira is wearing a waist-cinching corset, and the dress has exaggerated construction around the hips. Beyonce wore a similar look last year. No worries Enty - she eats her share of cookies : )

Shakira has a great bod. She is skinnier than she used to be. As my husband says, they put her on "the diet".

Thanks Enty, the lion brings back memories of my honeymoon in the Kruger Park. We had gone to find the place that lions had been spotted earlier, we drove quite a distance and there was no other car in sight. At that time of year its very very quiet. Then the car stopped. Completely. Dead. LOL. We sat there looking at each other, we were in the area of lions, we weren't even supposed to open up the windows and there were no cell phones back then. My newly beloved got out and spent the next half hour under the bonnet and under the car trying to get us going while I tried to keep a look out for animals, he couldn't really do otherwise for his new wife LOL. Eventually the car started and we both laugh now at him being eaten by lions on the honeymoon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jingle Belle, if you saw Shakira on SNL you'd see that she was really fit but not super skinny. I actually liked her a little more after seeing her perform; she looked like she was having actual fun.
