Jon Gosselin Thinks He Is Worth 15K An Hour
TMZ has a posting up today where they spoke with a DJ in Florida. The DJ wanted Jon Gosselin to co-host a radio program for an hour. The radio station offered Jon two first class tickets and a night in a first class hotel. Sounds pretty good, but Jon wanted way more than that. Jon wanted an appearance fee in the range of $10-12K. Why? "[Jon's] name and appearance on your show will instantly draw press ... and will be a high point for the show." The rep also describes Gosselin as "quite funny, sharp witted and interesting."
Umm, if by funny you mean the clothes he wears than yes, I guess he is funny. If by sharp witted you mean throwing away $75K a week for doing practically nothing, then yes, he is f**king brilliant and if by interesting you mean watching him hit on 20 year old women is like watching a car wreck in slow motion, then yes he is interesting.
I guess the lesson to be learned from this is if you wanted Jon at your holiday party this winter you know how much he costs.
Yuk! That pic is gross!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad I don't listen to that station or I might be disgusted.
ReplyDeleteHe knows he won't have many opportunities to ask for this much that much longer. Milk all the fame and money while you can, Jon Grosselin!
ReplyDeleteAnd look at that...the radio station got instant publicity without having to pay a penny. Life is funny that way.
ReplyDeleteEnty why... why scare us with that picture?? ;(
ReplyDeletei dont think the station hired him
ReplyDeleteI am by no means a Jon Gosselin defender, but why wouldn't he expect to be paid for his time? Surely not the amount of money he is asking for, but paying for the flight and hotel is expected and not considered payment of services.
ReplyDeleteThat said Jon Gosselin is a doucheburger.
He needs an Ed Hardy shirt to cover up that belly.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is NOT COOL. I just finished eating. Ugh. :-/
ReplyDeletei bet we can raise $14G for him to fuck off.
ReplyDeleteLOL - Love you, Jax!!!!
ReplyDeleteTold 'ya yesterday, Jon is the new Verne Troyer, and Enty is a sadistic bastard who likes to torture us. ;)
ReplyDelete@Kimmypie1: He shouldn't ask for that amount of money because people weren't watching the show for him. Now, if Aiden were asking for that amount of money the station should give it to him, no problem. He was the real star of the show.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is awesome! LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL@jax
ReplyDeleteHe is grosssssssssss
Oh, jax! Too funny!
ReplyDeletelol - I love how you manage to find the worst pics ever, Ent.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the reason for him to do the show if not for an appearance fee? He has ET on speed dial; regional radio doesn't offer enough intrinsic value to donate 2 days of his time (travel, overnight stay, the show itself). Ask for a phone interview if you don't want to pay him.
ReplyDeleteNot that I care about Jon, per se. What irritates me is how badly his rep played this. The station was already sold on him being a good get, so why patronize them with that crap about generating publicity for them?
The selling point here is that he is a self-employed father of 8 in the middle of a costly divorce and needs to focus on actual revenue generation.
The station doesn't have a story to give TMZ if Jon is just a guy working to support his family. Paid appearances at skanky bikini contests are gossip-worthy. Paid interviews at radio stations aren't.
Since Jon can't seem to actually stop behaving like an ass, he needs a better communications team. One that specializes in disaster management.
And for that fee you get to hear Jon talk non stop about his wife and everything she may say or do to him the next time he goes home. Seriously--listen to him talk. He can't form more than one sentence without bad mouthing the mother of his children. May he float into obscurity soon.
ReplyDeleteHow much do you want to bet inside his own head Jon is humming " Too sexy for my shirt" ?
ReplyDeleteWhen did he get Billy Bob Thorton to be his bodyguard?
ReplyDelete@Momster -- ;-)))
ReplyDelete@jax -- I've got $54 on hand, right now, and I get paid on Wednesday. Let's get this thing started!
