When Facebook Pictures Show Up On X Factor

Clover Spread is one of the main advertisers on X Factor over in the UK. A few weeks ago when the commercial started airing, I started getting lots of e-mails talking about how they had seen one of my Facebook pictures in the commercial. It was the one where I am eating a hamburger and sitting in a boat. Well, after a lot of searching I finally found a clip of the commercial and sure enough, 15 seconds in, there is yours truly on a boat as an example of being fat. Sure, the boat is about to sink because of my weight, but in my defense it is a really small boat. It does make you think twice about what photos you want to upload to Facebook, but it did give me a chance to be on X Factor without having to sing or listen to Simon.

  4. OMG! That is a funny picture!! The commercial isn't that bad, but you should contact them and tell them not to use your picture I guess..

  5. Or you won't contact them and threaten to sue because in real life you are a ripped porn star *filming* in your parent's basement.

ewwwwww, on second thought, I like the fat, doughliscious version better.

  9. That dude is all over facebook. Look up the facebook group "how fat are you?" and he is the mascot. I am pretty sure I have seen that dude's ("you") picture attached to other profiles as well.

  12. Embrace the tongue-in-cheek humor that is Enty. Proof positive that you should never believe everything you read on the internet!

  13. LOL The only thing better would be if had been an ad for bacon.

  15. c'mon people. as if that's actually him.

it would kind of defeat the whole point of being an "anonymous" gossip blogger to plaster your actual photo all over the web now wouldn't it???

besides, that pic is everywhere on the net on comedy sites.

  16. Shhh, empryrios. We know you're right, but we just don't care. Let us have our little fantasies (naughty or not) of Enty being a fat guy tipping over a boat. It makes me appreciate bacon that just more.

  19. Harriet, or his Bacon flavored vodka! LOL

Hmmmm, I wonder how many of us have had our pictures hijacked in Europe for use in unpaid advertising like that American family who's photo was stolen off Facebook.

  20. I say you should at least get a years supply of Clover Spread. You could always dip bacon in it.

  23. I am going out to buy a new wallet & look to see if that picture comes with it. If not, it should.

  24. Ha! That's not him? I totally shut down my facebook after I read this. Do you think they will use pictures that belong to their users?

I'm so f*cking gullible; I don't know what to believe!

  25. There's a way to block FB or anyone from taking photos. Click on the following:
    Settings
    Privacy Settings
    News Feed and Wall
    Facebook Ads tab
Appearance in Facebook Ads set to "No one"

This way, the photos stay private and unavailable to all who aren't allowed by you.
