Cousin Eddie Has A Felony Warrant Out For His Arrest

I don't know what (Drugs I'm guessing. Lots and lots of drugs) Randy Quaid has done with all the money he has earned over the course of his career or what he has done to tick off his brother so much that Dennis won't give him 10K, but Randy Quaid and his wife Evi are on the run from the law. Santa Barbara County issued felony warrants for the arrest of the couple today for running up a $10,000 hotel bill and then dashing out in the middle of the night without paying.

The couple kept telling the management at the San Ysidro Ranch that a new credit card was coming after the one they had given to management had been declined. Over the next few days they kept saying the same thing to staff and then finally one night just took off.

The couple has also not paid the bill of a private investigator they hired who was trying to clear Evi's name after she was accused of snorting coke by the cast of a Broadway play. Randy was kicked out of the Equity Union for his behavior during that time period when he assaulted several members of the cast.

  1. Ummm, hellooo? Randy Quaid, don't you think they know who you are? I mean, not because your're so famous, but because you probably told the staff a few hundred times who you are? Idiot.

  6. Cousin Vicki:
"I'm going steady, and I French kiss."
    Audrey Griswold:
    "So, everybody does that."
    Cousin Vicki:
"Yeah, but Daddy says I'm the best at it."

  7. Why give him 10k if he is just gonna tweak it away?

  8. Sounds like it's a good marriage though.

  9. "Actors Equity Association, the stage actors' union, has banned Randy Quaid for life and fined him $81,572 after 26 of his fellow thesps griped about his inappropriate behavior."

$81k? What the heck did he do?

Cousin Eddie has been in way too many cool movies to be skipping out on $10k. Time to write a tell all and go on Oprah.

  11. Thanks JJ... what a bizarre story. You really DO have to f*up by the numbers to get banned from the Equity Union and it sounds like they did.

  12. Damn! I always liked Randy better then Dennis and thought he was the better actor. Who knew Randy was such an asshat.

  13. Sad. To recoup revenue National Lampoon should release the movie
    'Cousin Eddie, on Vacation, Anywhere!'

  14. Surely they were doing research for a role?

  15. Not that I care about him but this behavior is depressing (and deplorable). I'm glad the SBPD is going hardcore and intends to hold them accountable.

Will be interesting to hear the anecdotes from hotel staff... Want to bet they were also beastly bad guests?!

  18. update: TMZ posted they were arrested in Texas. In keeping with the bat shit crazy theme. They both resisted arrest but no charges were filed against them on it.

    Really, actors. pay your bills.

  19. Wow, just wow. I remember reading an article in Vogue that proclaimed Evi as a brilliant interior decorator and stylist (this was late 90s maybe?). Now I find out she was his former limo-driver? Talk about re-inventing yourself! And now, the truth is coming out. LOL! Loves it.

  20. I have a friend who was in the cast of a play in Seattle that Randy was "starring" in. She said he had scary freak-outs all the time, and was a danger to others. She believes he is genuinely, seriously mentally ill. The wife is pretty nuts, too.
