Ryan O'Neal Exploits His Son
Now that Ryan O'Neal is running out of ways to exploit the death of Farrah Fawcett, he has set his eyes on his son. According to In Touch, Redmond O'Neal has signed a deal for his own reality show. The show will commence filming in four months when Redmond gets out of prison. It will focus on his efforts to stay clean. I hope he does great, but I am not holding my breath or anything.
So, how did this deal get done? Ryan made all the arrangements for his son. I'm sure he is acting as manager for his son and taking a nice big cut of the money, plus he will probably tell Redmond that he should watch over it since it might lead to temptation for Redmond having that much money. Of course knowing Ryan loves his drugs as much as Redmond maybe they should just let Tatum handle it all.
No word on whether Ryan and Redmond will agree to do drugs together on the show.
Is it just me or is there some weird background street noise for about 40 seconds when I click on CDAN today. Have I just never noticed?
ReplyDeleteNawwwww! You don't mean it!
ReplyDeletemygeorgie - it's because the Michael Jackson video is set on auto-play.
ReplyDeleteryan oneil is disgusting. he has exploited the death of his significant other and his children's problems over and over. i really feel for his children - they never even had a chance. especially poor tatum - has anyone ever read her book 'a paper life?' poor girl was exposed to things that no one should ever experience as a child.
ReplyDeleteexamples - ryan feed his children drugs from an early age, he told his daughter he was a good father b/c 'he never abused/molested her', he tried to shoot one of his sons over drugs, he said alicia silverstone was the daughter 'he should have had', didn't visit his daughter after she was critically hurt in a car accident, and the final and most disgusting - allowed a child molester back into his circle after a brief shunning when the family friend molested his daughter.
he is reprehensible.
Mooshki, I love your penguins.
ReplyDeletethanx Mooshki! Creepy.
ReplyDeletemygeorgie - use firefox with the flash block and noscript add-ons in order to not have crap load or run automatically. You then choose which things you want to run.
ReplyDeleteSunny, aren't they awesome? I stole them from someone on ONTD. I just realized a few days ago that you can use animated gifs on your profile, so now I have to search out more good ones.
ReplyDelete@.robert: You have graciously mistaken me for someone who understands such jargon. Thanks tho! When I have a few spare months I'll get to all the tech/download suggestions sent my way over the years. Till then, it's easy, gossipy shit. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteRyan is lower than excrement, because at least excrement has a purpose.
ReplyDeletemygeorgie, O'lord, hehe, you should come to some of my tech meetings then where I wonder what the hell they are babbling about.

Well, Ryan O'neal stills wants to be in the lime light, but he is old, ugly and way past his prime, so who better to exploit than his younger, charming son? Ryan would never have landed this show on his own, he needed to exploit Redmond. I can just imagine Dr. Drew appearing on Fox news saying what a narcissist Ryan is for getting his own show, that he should have been on Celebrity Rehab instead, and that no one should get their own show, except Dr. Drew, who is entitled to it. I read Dr. Drew's book on celebrity narcissism, it was 10% spot on, and 90% horse shit.
ReplyDeleteomg, that man doesn't stop. it's so sad...
ReplyDeleteRyan's creepiness knows no bounds.
ReplyDeleteI actually think this is a good idea. When Redmond gets out of jail he will have no mother and no job to come home to. He will probably be on probation and will have limited movement.
ReplyDeleteI think that looking forward to his new "job" is probably what keeps him going and not dwelling on the trajedy of his mother's death. It will also be good for him to have the whole world watching his recovery. I think it will make him work harder at it and be responsible for his health. I also think it might help other people out there who are struggling with addiction or who have family members who are struggling, especially if he is successful.
Lastly, I think it will give Ryan a purpose in the absence of his true love. Trying to help his son succeed will keep him busy and give real meaning to his life right now. I wish them both good luck.
Sylvan ramble-I applaud your 'optimism'. If all works out, Ryan & Jon can get together and write a book about great parenting, endorsed by Oprah ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd the sun's gonna rise in the West and set in the East and the moon is made of green cheese.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else think Alana's going to get in on this too?
I bet her production company ends up being the one that gets used.
