The World Of Michael Jackson

There was a point yesterday where I think the Michael Jackson mania reached its peak. There seemed to be a million stories and rumors and gossip and it all seemed to contradict another story or rumor which had just been announced. At some point yesterday I tried to stop reading everything and told myself, I would just wait for the book and have someone organize it all for me. The thing is when all these books start getting released I won't know which book to believe. I will know not to believe any authorized by the family, but other than that, I guess you will pick a book based on the salaciousness of the rumors or what fits into your particular theory or opinion of Michael.

Today the news has quieted down a great deal, but here are some links to some interesting stories.
Yesterday, I posted about Debbie Rowe not being the biological mother to the two oldest children. Well, according to her lawyer, that is not true at all.

The funeral for Michael is on Friday at Neverland for sure. The public is invited. What isn't sure is what kind of funeral it is going to be. There are reports that it is going to be a Muslim funeral.

The police would like to speak to another of Michael's doctors, who might also be the father to the two oldest kids, and the family finally sees the will of Michael and Joe sees how he is getting shafted.

  3. I read that there is going to be some kind of open casket procession at Neverland for the fans to see him one last time. That may, of course, be pure fabrication! *L*

I hope he wears his glove. I'm not joking. I think that would be an epic ending.

  4. I just read that he wants Diana Ross to be the guardian if his mother wasn't alive to take the kids. Diana Ross is in her 60's. Janet needs to take the kids.

  5. Everything I've read has suggested it will be an open casket - they've talked about having a "viewing" on Friday for his fans.

I've changed my mind - after hearing she's no longer living with Joe, I think his mom should get custody but make sure that the rest of the family is very involved with the kids. Hopefully she'll be alive into their adulthood, and they'll have other family support when she goes.

  6. Enty, here is why her lawyer is saying she is the biological mother: in the world of ART (Assisted Reproductive Technoogy), the woman that carries and gives birth to the child is legally the biological mother, unless she is contractually hired as a surrogate. I don't believe Ms. Rowe was hired as a surrogate, although I think was money exchanged. It will all depend on how the contracts were drawn up.

The woman that contributed (sold? - some egg donors do not charge a fee) the egg that was used in the conception is considered to be the genetic donor, sometimes referred to as the genetic mother, but in most donor egg conception contracts waives all of her rights to the child and is no longer considered to be the mother. The man that sold his sperm to Mr. Jackson most likely waived his rights when he made his sperm ‘donation.’ And his was most likely paid, they almost always are. In the world of ART, sperm donation and egg donation are slightly different in the way they are handled, oddly enough.

If Ms. Rowe *was* hired as a surrogate, then she most likely would have waived her parental rights, but again, it all depends on what is in the contract.

Wasn’t there some issue with her threatening to terminate the pregnancy at one point? Can’t remember the details on that. Regardless, IMO, I think her claims are a bit shaky, or at the very least, she’ll need to prove anything she is claiming with her contract. The contract will decide everything, regardless of what she wants.

There is a lot of misunderstanding flying around The Internets regarding whether MJ is the father as well. Even if it wasn't his sperm, if he is listed on the birth certificate in the state of CA, he is the legal father. Period.

  7. Katie Couric's special last night was interesting.

Whatever is held at Neverland, it's going to be a free for all. L.A. news had people already setting up tents outside the gates.

  9. I live 5 miles from Neverland- and it is a MESS up there already.

It is 5 miles up a rural road- and there isn't a thing to see except the gates. NOT A THING. There are a shit load of folks up there- and ther are no toliets, no trash cans and no shade. I'll say it again- there are no toliets up that way- where are all those people gonna crap?

The Santa Ynez Valley has its own plans for the 4th of Juy weekend- and this sucks that our tranquil Valley has this forced upon it- Michael left Neverland and if I remember correctly- he was to be cryogenically embalmed- remember that crap?

There are thousands of people coming to sit in the sun, with no where to park- or for that matter- to sleep.

They need to keep this circus in Encino. Ot pack it up and put it on a plane to Gary- THEY WANT HIM!

  10. When has Janet proved that she would be a good mother? NEVER! She didn't raise her own daughter that she birthed and passed off to Maureen.

I have heard that Diana Ross is a good mother, so if Katherine can't take care of the kids and Diana is willing I hope she carries out Mike's wishes.

  11. I have to agree with Enty, I am on Michael overload :(

  12. There is no proof that Janet has a daughter. I would think we would have seen a picture by now and the pic that I have seen that they say is her daughter is her niece that was interviewed on 20/20. I just think this whole ordeal of who gets the kids will be a mess. sad.

  13. there is no daughter for janet, that story was discredited years ago, the timeline didn't match up. janet would have been rocking her skinny body when she would have supposedly have been 8 months pg.

My eyes are getting cross-eyed with all the different stories coming out.

  15. "Nona Jackson, who has previously stated that she has given birth to upwards of 15 children sired by the King of Pop, filed a motion to be named executor of MJ's will, which was made public early on Wednesday. In her motion, Nona asked to be immediately declared special administrator of Michael's estate, giving her and her lawyers full control of the singer's money and assets."

Have you guys read this? The crazies are out in full swing!

  16. Did you hear that a bunch of his fans have attempted suicide over his death? Scary!

  17. Jax this was pre-skinny Janet(she was about 18 y.o.) and her ex brother-in-law outed her a few years back.

I no longer have the details in front of me but when we added the dates, times, and children of Maureen together his story and time lines appear to be valid.

  18. yeah, i read that 12 people have already committed suicide because of Michael's death

  19. all those people went to neverland for nothing. that's not going to happen, apparently.

the only interesting story in this i'm following is the new one on the drug he may have died from---which is never given outside an operating room with an anesthesiologist in attendance.
if they find out that happened, someone (hello dr. murray) is going to jail.

  21. This is going to be like a circus and not a funeral. I can see Joe now trying to sell bits of MJ's life out of a lemon-aide type stand.

" Step right up for this used tissue from MJ's bathroom. I took it from his personal trashcan."

    BARF
