Today's Blind Items - Bad Drug Behavior

This actor is C list. He is on a hit cable show right now but was doing primarily movies before this role came along. I expect he will keep climbing the ladder but incidents like the one which happened this past weekend will probably not help. Our actor was at a party and was snorting meth and coke and whatever else he could find. He then left the party with a friend. The car was blocked in by another car illegally parked. The friend went back inside to find the owner of the car. When the friend came back out with the owner they found our actor standing with the drivers side door open and marking his territory throughout the car. He then proceeded to get his ass kicked by the owner of the car.

  1. Has Hung been around long enough to be a hit yet?

  2. I'd say so, Karmen. It's received great reviews and has been described as a 'hit' in many different media outlets. Not to mention, he has a reputation for being a little bit of a loose cannon.

  3. He is awesome, but Bruce Campbell is looking pretty ragged on Burn Notice.

    ReplyDelete
  4. That was my idea too. Thomas Jane ftw.

Hung started with very good numbers. It is loosing them every week, and now is doing the same numbers as Entourage.

  5. Don't know if Leverage is old enough to be a hit either, but Timothy Hutton was primarily movies as well. Can't really see him doing this though.

I could see Jonathan Rhys Meyers (sp?) from the Tudors as the ass, though. Too bad I find him so damn good looking though (except for the cokey eyes).

  6. Sorry for all the repetition of "though." That's what happens when you don't proofread your comments before posting...

    though. :)

  7. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers? Didn't he go to rehab fairly recently? Did films before the Tudors.

  8. Jane is more likely than Campbell. I doubt Bruce gets invited to many Hollywood parties. Besides Bruce is far too cool for that.

  9. I haven't a clue, but let me just say, you guys are awesome with your suggestions! I love reading the comments.

  10. I never look at the ratings. Makes sense. Nice guess, Kat.

  11. Thomas Jane may be a little too big to get his ass kicked. Especially in H'Wood where everyone is small. I'm thinking someone scrawnier.

  12. Illegally parked car blocking me in and it isn't a friends? I would've called a tow truck to haul it off to somewhere in south-central and paid in cash.

  13. Hung is definitely not a hit. It's only been on for THREE EPISODES and doesn't have the same kind of overnight, watercooler success as say, Desperate Housewives when it first premiered. Critics like it, audiences are still fairly lukewarm at this point.

I think this is Jeffrey Donovan from Burn Notice.

  14. Nobody better saying nothin' bad about my Brucie! He's a hottie, no matter how old he is.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Denis Leary? from Rescue Me... "...climbing the ladder..."

    ReplyDelete
  16. Didn't the guy from Burn Notice get a DUI this past weekend? I think it's him.

    ReplyDelete
  17. i love "hung"!
i think the relation between this incident and his character pissing in the lake are too coincidental *though* (lol @ erin! i use and, but, and yeah, WAY too much!).

watcha wanna bet the actor sues for battery?

nurse jackie is a big hit, but can't think who might fit there. weeds has been a hit.

i'd say piven, but entourage IS his break-out role.
    no clue.

  18. Oooh, Darby, good thinking on that ladder clue!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Pivan did movies before Entourage. Always the second, but in some solid movies. That being said,I like JRM as a guess. He just seems like he would be an ass.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I can't see Dennis Leary getting a beat down by anyone. He is scary.

    ReplyDelete
  21. and that is your brain on drugs, kids.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Weird that anyone would think either Leary or JAne would be tough. Or anyone in Hollywood. These guys would get their asses kicked in any bar in the country. Leary is a chain smoking twig.

    ReplyDelete
  23. yeah, the 'burn notice' guy just got popped for DUI. HIM.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jeffrey Donovan is definitely a good guess...I hope it's not him because I like him and love that show. Plus, I think he might be a little better than C-list.
The co-star, Bruce Campbell, seems a little too old for this type of behavior, and is also involved in some Disney or kids shows, so I don't think it's him.
The "climbing the ladder" and Dennis Leary is a good guess, but Leary is definitely better than C-list.
Maybe somone from Entourage? Definitely a " hit cable show".

  25. I hope it's not Aaron Paul. When Enty said that he will keep climbing the ladder it made me think of him since he was recently nominated for an Emmy for Breaking Bad. He is an awesome actor.

    ReplyDelete
  26. it's not jeffrey donovan...he's a black belt in karate and very proficient in other martial arts. drunk or not, he could probably hurt someone far more than they could hurt him.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Campbell Scott on "Royal Pains".

    ReplyDelete

janele - that would make me sad if it were Campbell Scott. He's a little snooty in interviews, but he's a phenomenal actor. He had done TV before ("Six Degrees" which was awesome)

Peter Facinelli is on Nurse Jackie. Jennie Garth would have his balls though.

    Adrien Grenier from Entourage?

    ReplyDelete
  29. yeah, i don't think anyone could take jeffery donovan - even if he was completely high. the man has a bunch of black belts.

and, i hope it ain't my bruce campbell. he is soooo awesome. plus, he's got a rep as being a really nice guy.

  30. i really like thomas jane as a guess. he was arrested not long ago for DUI and was off his face in the middle of the desert..lol. i think that was him. not to mention then on off divorce.

    ReplyDelete
  31. it CAN'T be Jeffery Donovan. I would be too sad. He is too awesome for this douchy behavior. He got a bad break over the weekend with the DUI - that was dumb... but I forgive him. No way is this him.

It isn't Thomas Jane, either. I don't know much about him but I like his wife enough to pull for him. I want him, his show and his marriage to succeed.

I hope it isn't Denis Leary. I don't always like what he has to say in interviews... he crosses the line... but I love Rescue Me and he is sexy.

Anyway, whoever it is - suck it up and go to rehab. You are being self destructive and it sounds like you have a lot to live for.

I take my tv (and bi's about my tv men)personally!

  32. Jeffrey Donovan was tv not movies before Burn Notice, so I think we are safe there.

Timothy Hutton has an Oscar - would he still need to climb a ladder?

I like the ladder reference to Rescue Me - though I think Denis Leary is higher than C - he is the star of the show - not just "on" it.

Supporting actor on Rescue Me for the win. I don't watch it, so no solid guess. :(

  33. Heck, my ex behaved like that sober. Emphasis on ex, ty.

Donovan got popped this past weekend, and wouldn't that cap such an evening perfectly?

    Donovan, FTW.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah, Jeffrey Donovan was my first thought, too.

  36. My first thought was TJ, but I like him and was hoping it wasn't. Then I thought that Hung hasn't been on that long and his demon is alcohol, at least as far as I know. Besides, if anyone has watched Hung, they would have known that the last episode was about TJ's character peeing in the lake and I would have thought Enty would have alluded to that.

Rhys-Meyers sounds like the more likely culprit!!!!!!

  37. Rescue Me is filmed in NYC - DL lives here also.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm thinking Adrain Grenier or Kevin Dillon. Both did mainly movies before Entourage.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Jonathan Rhys Meyers is a great guess, but my first thought was Adrian Grenier- I don't think he did any TV before Entourage

    ReplyDelete
  40. i was thinking the guy from burn notice since he just got a dui

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Darby- Awesome guess.
Dennis Leary sounds good to me.
Although this sounds like the sort of thing Jeremy Piven would do...

    ReplyDelete
  42. Are Leary, Piven or Rhys-Meyers C-list? Wouldn't Enty mention they have A-name recognition?

I like the Jeffrey Donovan guess since he was just busted and likely needing a friend to drive for him.

    ReplyDelete
  43. No way on Denis Leary people~ he is 6'2 & quite the bad ass...along with being SEXY as HELL. :D

    ReplyDelete
  44. Dean Winters maybe? He fits the "ladder" reference, being that he is on Rescue Me as well.....and he looks like he could be a coke/meth head....

    ReplyDelete
  45. Jeffrey Donovan is my guess. A black belt in karate is almost useless in a real fight. It's theater. I remember some years ago Jean Claude van Damme got his ass kicked by a bouncer when he picked a fight in New York. And yes, he was an Indie movie darling before Burn Notice.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm sure I'm totally off here, but why was my first thought David Krumholtz from Numbers? I have no idea where the "climbing the ladder would fit with him", but does the rest fit? Maybe its just the image of his character in Harold and Kumar that I can't get out of my head...

    ReplyDelete
  47. I couldn't chitchat yesterday, so I'm getting to read this waaaaay late....but this one is frickin' hilarious!

    ReplyDelete
  48. This sounds like Thomas Jane, but I hope it's not him. The only other actor I can see doing this is Jeremy Piven.

Are there any other cable shows actors that could be possibilities? I feel like we are overlooking someone.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Adrian Grenier might be a good guess -- but he's the lead character in a hit cable show, surely he's above C? (And Piven, having won three Emmys, definitely is above C.)

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Elizabeth: You're confusing Jeffrey Donovan with Martin Donovan.

@AvaMore: Jutst this one time, we can thank heaven that Dean Winters hasn't a movie career!

@Everyone else: I know one other person in NYC who's even heard of "Hung." It ain't no hit cable network show yet. (I's only aired three times, for crying out loud.) I think you're barking up the wrong series.

I don't watch things like "The Closer," or "Weeds." Is there anyone there?

I would hate it to be Charlie Hunnam of Sons of Anarchy. Love that show and him and have never seen a comment about it or any Random Photos. He did mainly movies before the show except for early appearances in the UK version of Queer as Folks. Can anyone help me change my user name - for some reason this site always picks up this account name whch was for a one off thing one day in an interent seminar.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I don't think it's Jeffrey Donovan, but he would totally be capable of peeing in someone's car. The guy is a douchebag.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Vincent Kartheiser

    ReplyDelete
  54. why do you think vincent kartheiser?

    thomas jane.
