Scientology And Rhea Lando?

Last night I got an e-mail from a reader who always keeps me updated on Scientology. Last night the e-mail I received sent me over to the ex-Scientology message board and a letter allegedly written by Rhea Lando. Most of you probably have not heard of Rhea Lando. She is just one of countless struggling actresses in Hollywood. The difference with Rhea was that she had got her big break. Back in 2008 she landed the lead in the first live action show on Cartoon Network. It was called Out Of Jimmy's Head. It only lasted 20 episodes, but the point is that when you get a lead in a show like Rhea had, things usually start to move quickly. So, it was very odd for her to just disappear. I know this, because I used to hang out with Rhea. The operative word on used to. She just disappeared and stopped talking to her friends. One second she was on top of the world and then next shows her with no screen credits since 2008 and nothing in the pipeline. Here is a letter posted on that Scientology message board allegedly written by Rhea Lando. I deleted her home address from the letter, and the person who posted the letter to the message board had removed the e-mail address of someone Rhea refers to in the e-mail. Other than that, the e-mail is intact. I want to keep track of Rhea and see if she ever makes another movie or ever shows up on television again. Is the e-mail real? It seems authentic. Why would anyone randomly pick her to write about it? I hope everything works out for the couple.

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!! You MUST read this email. I need your help. Things are a little bit, well, A LOT crazy for me right now because.....MATT AND I JOINED THE SEA ORG!!!!!!!

Ahhhh!! I know, it's too exciting to even think about. Matt has already routed in!!!! He is currently on his EPF at PAC and we got him in today (Thursday) before 2:00! It's amazing. I took on ALL his debt so he could route in asap and am gonna work with a team of SO members like a maniac to pay it down and then I will jump in!

Here's the fun part: We are gonna have a beautiful party on Sunday, July 26th, to sell his work (go to mattcaliphotography.com. Choose what photo you want from the gallery and then send us the info and the check and what size you want to the photo in. We'll have prices listed soon or just give beyond what you think we're going to ask!)

In case you didn't know, he's an amazing pro photographer who is now going to change the way Scientology is dissimenated with his art. We will also auction things off. My old twin, Phuong Tran, head chef and owner of the top ZAGAT rated Vietnamese fusion restaurant, Benley, is going to cater.... and the AMAZING Will Seabrook is performing!!!

This is where YOU come in!!! First, we want you to come to the party! All of you! If you are reading this email right now that means that I personally wanted you to come, see this, think you are theta and want to say goodbye and celebrate with you. Every Scientologist I know has helped me come to this amazing point in my life, whether they know it or not. The wins I have had are so astronomical I want you to hear them!! Seriously, they are so big and so amazing that I have lost my voice talking about it! Even if it's just for a few minutes, it would mean the world to me to see and hug my fellows in this fight to save this planet!

Second, any MEST that you could donate for us to sell/auction off at the party is so needed and wanted and appreciated. Jewerly, materials, furniture, paintings, ANYTHING that you could do to help...of course, we are willing to accept "just plain old money" as well if that is easier for you! It's easier for us too! Here's my address: Make checks out to Rhea Lando.

I am so exited about this it is not even funny. This is not just books or lectures or a new release, this is two people donating the rest of their LIVES. For you. For LRH. For everyone you know and everyone you ever wished you could help out there.

That is what the Sea Org does.

The Sea Org is the only reason any of us are here and the only reason any of us have this brief breath in eternity to go free. In case you didn't know, no one would be OT without the Sea Org... and, well, I'm just gonna say it and I'm too uptone to even care how it sounds...I am a serious badass with capabilites that WILL clear this planet and everyday I am not there is another day lost. What I have accomplished alone in my short time with the tech is ridiculous and I what I am going to do in this group is going to be that times a billion. It has never been more real to me that we really can create any universe we want and that we can win at any game we choose to play...and I have chosen to play this game because really, aren't we all in this together? So please, help me help the world..the world YOU live in. This is a one time game, so let's play it and play it big and send me off like a rocket!!!!!!!!!

All my love,

Rhea Lando

Oh, and YES!! I know I did not tell you what time/where the party is. That is all being worked out now and you will be updated ASAP. But I can tell you it will be close (I don't care where you live you will consider it close) and it will be convenient!!!!

xxxx xxxx is helping me organize this day. You can email her at xxxx-xxxx to let us know what MEST items you will be donating and RSVP/confirm that you are coming to the party so we can plan accordingly!

And if you really, seriously, have an "I live on another continent" or "I have 10 kids" excuse and cannot attend, it is okay, have no fear, I checked and you are still allowed to get in comm and send a donation.

OKAY I'M DONE I PROMISE!!
Love, Rhea

  4. the cult of xenu is more dangerous than we realize, imho.

i don't know who this rhea girl is, but she breaks my heart.

  5. Well, it's good to know that we're all 'allowed' to send a donation. Jeez.

  6. If she can win any game she should go to vegas and win enough to pay her debt herself.

  7. Can anyone translate some of this stuff?

  8. Well she's certainly enthusiastic. If Scientology is a religion (big IF), then her enthusiasm isn't much different from that of any other person who feels they've finally found themselves and are on a righteous path etc etc etc. But I read the letter as a hit for money, cause she's so awesome and will save us all. Not too different from what you'd find in the most crass evangelical infomercial on late-night TV.

  9. Wow, that is really sad and horrible. And probably the last we'll hear of Ms. Lando. How kind of her to assume Matt's debt. I hope Cruise and the rest of these pyramid scheme douchebags burn in hell.

  10. WOW. This makes me all kinds of sad and creeped out, especially this part:

"...I am a serious badass with capabilites that WILL clear this planet and everyday I am not there is another day lost."

Ok, Rhea, so yes, you will clear the planet, for the small price of your soul and all the donations you can scam from your friends and family.

  11. wow.

funny I was just looking at a book of fiction dictated by L.R. Hubbard the other day... I love this stuff..it makes me laugh and remember that crazy cruise video..good stuff!

  14. Even though half of what she's written isn't complete or coherent I find the e-mail creepy.

She's obviously on an extremely emotional high.

I really hope her loved ones can stay close to her.

    This is cult b.s.

  15. What I am wondering is when they are going to pull a mass suicide or an attempt to fly to the moon. What. The. Fuck.

  16. Sounds like she has broken from reality. As in, is she schizophrenic? What else could explain such detachment from reality?! Oh, yes, LRH and his life-sucking, bank-account-draining machine.

PS - A now deceased family friend - RIP - battled schizophrenia so I'm not being flippant. It's a life-destroying horrible brain disease... thankfully, great progress is being made in next generation treatments so there is hope for a better future for people suffering from schizophrenia. To learn more, go to NAMI.org.

(I hope that plug is OK...)

  17. This cult is dangerous, no matter how many shiny happy pretty celebrities they get to dress up the outside. Inside, it's a festering cauldron of mind control and devious shit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. What the hell is the Sea Org? I don't have the energy to look it up.

    ReplyDelete
  19. They're not going to the moon. They're waiting for the Leader to take them back to Blisstonia.

Anyone care for some lima beans?

  20. Soujnds like they love bombed the hell out of her

  21. This sentence gave me the creeps most of all, "I took on ALL his debt so he could route in asap and am gonna work with a team of SO members like a maniac to pay it down and then I will jump in!"

He goes first, huh? And if things don't work out, then she's stuck with all his debt.

Or does she mean debt as in "emotional load" instead of actual money?

    Weird.

  22. RQ:

The Sea Organization is the actual nexus that controls the scientology empire. Sea Organization personnel are authorized to take over and control scientology organizations and to demote personnel, move bank accounts and run the corporation as if the SO personnel were employees or representatives of that corporation but they are not.

  23. @ d, she means real $.
@ not on my dollar, her loved ones will not be allowed anywhere near here once any donations have come in, because they are not in the cult. They will be deemed "Suppresives".
Poor, poor girl; She's doomed and doesn't know it!

Enty, didn't you two EVER discuss Scientology and it's Alien god at the volcano nonsense when you guys were buddies?

  24. Thanks @ .robert. Wow.

  26. If you want to get rich, start a business. If you want to get really rich, start a religion. Gee, I wonder who said that.

It's the Church of Sociopathy. They use ego-stroking on the gullible ... the same thing sociopaths have used for ages.

  27. Up until this point, I don't think I really got what all the fuss was about Scientology. Although I am all for the freedom in the pursuit of happiness and worship, this seems to be more about lucre than enlightenment.

    Hugely sad.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I wish Scientologists would just talk regular, so that all us suppressives could understand them.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It doesn't surprise me when actors are Scientologists. But the one that really gets me is Greta Susteren. She's supposedly a newscaster. Well, yeah, she is on Faux News, but still. I could never ever listen to a thing she said knowing that she believes this crap.

  31. Yeah, I too thought I could control everything in my life until I realized that I can't.

No one's in control of this world as we know it, and to think that this girl assumes that she can means she's either very delusional, very egotistical, or both.

Or, as someone mentions above, mentally ill and is not getting the help she needs and is being exploited by having to pay apparently a lot of money to do the Sea Org thing.

    Either way, it's disturbing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @ robert - that article was really disturbing.

  33. For the love of Ben Affleck, what the hell is this?

Tom Cruise's voice kept playing in my head as I 'tried' to read this crap. These people are truly 'bat-shit' crazy.

If anyone is considering attending, stay away from the Kool-Aid. This could turn out very badly...

  34. I like Serge's e-mail so much better.

This is just as weird, though.

    Ummm.

It's no weirder than most religions I've encountered, but the fact that heirarchy is mentioned so often is kinda alarming.

    Scientology is for lemmings.

She uses the word "amazing" just as much as Mrs. Tom Cruise does.

    ReplyDelete
  37. the male went first, because women are the second class citizens.
sea org members are not allowed children, therefore marriages are frowned upon. if a woman DOES become pregnant, she is "encouraged" to terminate the pregnancy, or else she must leave the "elite" sea org. those that elect to have their babies either lose whatever they've worked for (which is basically the glory of being in sea org, period. they get next to no money, and are on call 24/7. they're LRH's navy), and/or their children are sent off to concentration camp type living, many never seeing their parents again.
please, when you have time, go back to xenu.net and browse around. i've pointed out this site many times, there are people who have escaped the cult, family members who have lost someone to the cult (some by death), and links to other information. it's some scary, scary shit.
and they only make you drink the kool-aid if you try to get out. "if by any means necessary". i believe that's a direct quote from one of their "secret documents.

  41. I think we have a new CDAN motto:

"For the love of Ben Affleck, what the hell is this?"

    LMAO. Thanks Momma Bear.

Poor Rhea has gone to the dark side. What a shame.

  43. @Julie

People are not meant to function at that delusional level of happiness. That is why everyone reacted so badly to Tommie's couch jumping and such.

    ReplyDelete
  44. That's just SAD. She needs an intervention and deprogrammed.
It's sad to see someone drowning in mental instability. Anyone know where we could buy her a life jacket?

@Momma Bear Thanks for the levity.;)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Brainwashed, how sad to be a non paid slave and be grateful to give over everything you have, your life, your freedom, and finally your soul to a bunch of crazy con men who don't care if you live or die after they have taken everything from you.

Very sad. The fact that she cut herself off from all her friends, and probably her family is proof to me that Scientology is a cult.

Just one more reason to never go to a Tom Cruise movie or see anything Will Smith is involved in.

    Good luck Anonymous...

    ReplyDelete
  46. This is seriously alarming! Not only the bliss with which she's going into this madness but also the frantic cry for money, from anywhere, anyone and in any amount. Totally uber-ly creepy...

  49. And when she doesn't raise the money, they will kick her to the curb. Happened to my grandmother's friend's daughter. She had to be deprogrammed twice, and she wasn't in there for long at all - as soon as they realized the couple couldn't raise enough cash for both, she was out on the street with nothing to her name. Not even a husband. She's lived a very broken life.

I feel so sad for this girl. Her family must be heartsick.

  51. Whatev, many religions are like this. Some religons make you pay a certain percent of your paycheck to them per month. All organized religion has aspects of this in them> thats what we should take away from this. Saying that however, Scientoloy is one of the worst, sorry girlfriend, hope you get the help you need before your too far gone, if that hasnt already happened yet.

    ReplyDelete
  52. A few weeks back a Florida newspaper 'The St. Petersberg Times' published a series of articles and interviews with former high ranking Scientologists exposing systemic physical and mental abuse in the Sea Org, including the cover-up and destruction of evidence in a negligent homocide. You can read it online here: http://www.truthrundown.org

This girl doesn't know what she's in for.

  53. My boss is heavy into Scientology and she is always trying to get others to join her. She is a volunteer at the local "mission" where she works with other Scientologists who have used drugs (not just drug addicts but people who have been given presciptions by the doctors or had cancer treatments, you name it) to get all the toxins out of their body because it is all just so bad for them. They run them around a track for miles at a time, put them in a sauna to sweat it out for an hour at a time, give them all kinds of "vitamins" and "deprogram them and reprogram them." This process lasts for a couple months usually until they break the person down - then they are cured. In fact she feels that this is great because they "cured" her from alcoholism. She is working on moving up in the ranks of the Scientology and spent 3 weeks at the main "Church" in Florida working on this (she was originally scheduled to be off for 1 1/2 weeks but they wouldn't let her leave until she was "ready"). She is crazy as batshit and no one wants to be around her.

Sorry to hear that "they" got another one.
