ReplyDeleteDamaga Control definitely a clue. Would seem to apply to Keifer, but really, does anything think he gives a rats ass about his own drinking? He clearly lives life on his own terms.

I'm going for Jonathan Rhys Meyers, as well. I really don't think he WANTS to get sober, but he feels like he has to at least appear to do so.
ReplyDeleteAs for Kiefer, every time there's a BI about rehab or AA people always jump to him as a suspect because of his obviously wild over-indulging with alcohol. BUT... I don't think he has EVER been to AA or rehab- unlike JRM, he really doesn't have to worry about his image so much. His gig at 24 is rock-solid, and he works like 10 months out of the year, 16-hour days on that, so I doubt he drinks on the job because it would be impossible. He seems to just go completely wild when he's not filming- but it's not really a PR problem. As for 24, people really separate him out from his character. As for his future, he's so well-known/well-established in the industry that he won't have a problem getting future roles (again, unlike JRM). So... I don't see him going to rehab or any kind of program, ever. Which is sort of fine by me, as long as he doesn't drive drunk anymore. I mean, his antics are endlessly entertaining (tackling a christmas tree? being photographed sitting in a booth at a bar, pantsless?)- what would we do without him?? :)

ReplyDeleteThis is the guy who claims on every talk show that he DOES NOT drink..while people don't even ask or assume he is.He just has to mention it everywhere like a mantra.
He is a club hopper for sure.evidence is out there.

Beside Damage control could also be about the alleged pap punching he did,and still has see court for that.
