P.S. the only defense I can say is a lot of these escort sites uses fake pictures. It might be a bait and switch kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteMy friend used to work the phones at an escort site. They all used fake super hot pixs for bait. When the not as hot as pix girls would be sent out. A lot of the guys would be pissed for not getting what they thought was on the website picture.
I'm no racist, but I'm not a TV watcher and it took me awhile to figure out gossip site mentions of Tyson and Tyrese were referring to two different people. You've got to admit their names are pretty similar.

If you Google "Quentin Elias rentboy" you'll find a posting from 2008 that shows screenshots of the guy's pics used on an escort website. As another poster pointed out, it may just be a case of someone using his photos to promote their own, uh, work.

ReplyDeleteThere is no way that someone confusing Tyrese with Tyson is a racism thing, or thinking all black guys look the same. That's so over-the-top ridiculous. First of all, their names are extremely similar, and second of all... no, not all black guys look the same, or all white guys or all asian guys for that matter. However, these two DO look very similar:

and given the similarity of their names, it is easy to get them mixed up. In fact, google their names together and you find hundreds of sites commenting on it.
Funny, I always get Liev Schreiber mixed up with someone else too, but not Liam Neeson. And now for the life of me I can't remember who it was.

ReplyDeleteI have never seen a photo of Tyrese, but the first time I heard his name, I was confused at first whether they meant the model/t.v. host, because I do know his work.
I absolutely HATED the movie "Dead Poet's Society," because it was full of young White men with short dark hair in the same school uniforms, and I couldn't keep track of who was who. It took me a full hour into the film to realize there were actually TWO redheads that I had also thought were the same guy. That's when I gave up.
@starburst, Liev is the one that can really act well. Balty not so much. Plus that whole stink of Sienna on him...

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I just have to laugh at the idea of school uniforms making people difficult to tell apart. Seriously? Surely their faces, body types, heights, etc., might help out in this endeavor. Because if I was told that I looked indistinguishable from my other peers when I was in grade and high schools, I would be royally pissed.
