Normally I don't care about these kinds of stories, but I have a reason today. There have been reports circulating that Anna Paquin and her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer have recently got engaged. Anna's publicist says there are not truth to the rumors. Meanwhile, in an interview with DirecTV Magazine, Stephen says that he has introduced Anna to watching boxing and that she loves it. He also says that in a fight on True Blood that Anna's character would beat Stephen's character in a fight.
Now the reason I wanted a True Blood story was that a reader sent in these photos she took on her way to work. She was walking down a street when she noticed crews setting up to film her favorite show True Blood and so took these pictures. I know how much all of you love the show, and if you have not watched True Blood, you need to. It is that good.

Not that it matters but I am a guy, the last time I checked at least. I was giving a fitness tour and came across the set in West Hollywood. I love the show and am trying to figure out the Texas decor...

but it't soooooooooo worth it cuz everything streams in high quality HD and this is definitely a show where you wanna see every. little. detail.

We are OBSESSED with True Blood in this house. My bf is reading all of the books.
ReplyDeleteLafayette is not a major character in the books. In fact, in the books, his body is the one found in the car at Merlotte's. It's my understanding that they intend to keep the character around in the show (if they were following the books, he'd be dead now, plus I saw an interview with the guy who plays him). Which is good, because I love him.

I haven't been able to sit down and watch True Blood cuz I watched the first 15 mins of the very first episode with my parents in the room and was SO uncomfortable with the sex scenes! Totally scarred me for life! The books are awesome though!!!

ReplyDeletethanks Enty for the recommendation. We watched the first episode of Season 2 tonight, as well as a summation of Season 1 with Alan Ball (LOVE HIM). Interesting show, and I've never been into the vampire thing (I think I'm half vampire because of my work hours). Anyway, lots of funny, smart references, and it's mysterious without resorting to hackneyed conclusions. I'm kinda excited to see the second episode tomorrow night....
