WHICH celebrity hairstylist really snipped her career by double-billing her biggest client, a TV chef? When the stylist's other clients found out she'd been fired, they also let her go.

ReplyDeletei don't know any celeb female hair people...*stumped*
ReplyDeleteThat Zoe woman. Someone has to pay the plastic surgery bill. She used to turn up on Rachael Ray regularly, but now RR has someone named Greta or something.
ReplyDeleteSally Hershberger? The only female celeb hairstylist I can think of.
ReplyDeleteI heard a story about Sally H. having a run in with
ReplyDeleteEllen a while back that did not end well. Ellen totally
wants to work the shag that is S's trademark. I
think we've got this one.
Maybe she was double billing because said client is a double pain in the ass?
ReplyDeleteshoot, missed the hair in front of stylist. But I still think it has to be connected to Rachael Ray. Of course, my knowledge of tv chefs is limited, but I think a man would be more likely to bitch about a high bill. Sexist of me, but really, women always pay more than men.
ReplyDeleteObviously, I have too severe a case of ADD to have
ReplyDeletecaught the "chef" part. I did hear of a run-in with
those two though. Would we still consider Martha a
celebrity chef? Because she is pretty close with a
dollar.
If Martha is considered a chef, the answer to this is Eva Scrivo, who was indeed fired relatively recently.
ReplyDeleteRachael Ray will be the first to tell you she is not a chef, she is a cook. That's a serious distinction in the food world.
ReplyDeleteI think you got it, JanePod.

ReplyDeleteEva Scrivo is my guess. Speaking od chefs, my SO is a chef (trained in Switzerland). I am a damn good cook. Big difference between the two. When I think of Martha Stewart, I just hae no desire to eat her food, maybe buy her plates, or patio furniture...but not her food.
ReplyDeleteIf this is indeed supposed to be in reference to Martha Stewart and Eva Scrivo, the question itself is inaccurate. First, it's only speculation that she got fired and know one really knows what happened. Second, this certainly did not affect her relationship with other clients or her career which only took off immediately after the brakeup. She opened two new salons, got a major book deal, signed a spokesperson deal with Proctor & Gamble, and still has her radio show on the Martha Sirius radio channel! I know this because I'm a client of Eva's salons and a big fan (full disclosure). I'd like for for my career to be "clipped" like Eva's!
