Four For Friday - With A Kindness
#1 & #2 - This former A list and now a B- always movie actress always likes to pretend she has the perfect marriage. Whenever she does press for a new movie like she is now she always talks about how she and her husband do everything together and seems to forget they spend about two months a year together and those are the most miserable two months of the year. Oh, her husband is an A list writer.
#3 & #4 - Kindness - These two actors were once co-stars in television and at least one movie. One is now A list and only does movies, while the other has dropped from an A list movie star to a B- list will take anything actor. Anyway, the two were at a charity sports event recently and at the event was an auction where someone could win a round of golf with the pair. Well, instead of just one winner, they surprised the audience by inviting everyone who bid on the item to play golf with them. They paid for everyone to play, a party after and gave a $100,000 donation to the charity who had sponsored the original auction.

I don't think Cybil and Bruce for 3 and 4...I don't think they did/do get along very well. And although I really have no idea, Cybil doesn't strike me as a very nice person...not nice enought to do this. Just not feeling it.

My guess is either Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler. It's a tough call on who #4 is as they were once A list. But my guess would be SNL cast members.
Of course Bill Murray or Steve Martin are good guesses too (for #3).
I don't think Michelle Pfeiffer for #1, for a couple of reasons.

Michelle a B-? I don't think so. She's pretty much perennially A.
I do, however, like the Jennifer Garner guess. Remember, Affleck has an Oscar for screenplay. And he's always gone, in Vegas or Boston or anywhere far away from his wife and kid(s).
I can see Michelle Pfeiffer being B+ list because she wants to be. There's nothing wrong with moving away from the spotlight after you've made a kagillion dollars.

Robert Downey Jr and Anthony Michael Hall (maybe former A lister because of his work in Vacation movies and in John Hughes stuff?) were in tv (Saturday Night Live) and at least one movie (Johnny Be Good) together.

ReplyDeleteWhile I really like the RDJ and AMH hall guess, my guess is Steve Martin and Dan Aykroyd. It's floored me that nobody thought of ol' Danny. He was a huge star, did "Blues Bothers" and "Trading Places," "Ghostbusters," and so many more. Now he guest stars in everything under the sun.

Re: Michelle Pfeiffer: I think the minus sign after the B is a little harsh, but this is definitely her. First of all, nobody else fits, secondly, she is doing press for whatever project she has right now. And she always talks about her marriage! BUT he famously cheated on her w/ Calista Flockheart, back in the day.I've always thought she protests too much.

He hasn't had a huge hit in years (he's sort of art house A list, though.. and A list-for-life to comedy aficionados and Gen Xers), and he's not B list take-anything because Murray is notoriously impossible to get ahold of (won’t return calls, and no agency by choice), and discriminating about what roles he'll take (yeah, he did the Garfield movie-- but who says "discriminating" = "chooses wisely"?)

At about 7, I stopped at a restaurant and got some takeout, but it sucked and the baboons behind the drive through window fucked it up. So I did what I always do in that situation: loop around, go through the drivethru again, then throw the fucked up order back at the guttersnipes behind the drivethru window. (I order milkshakes whenever possible for maximum firepower). The gorilla behind the drive thru window threw some of the shit back to me, and since I wasn't going to loop around the drivethru again for another forward compaign, I ate the shit.
ReplyDeleteI got into town at about 9, and since then I have been having massive yellow shits which burn my ass ring something terrible because they are jam packed with stomach acid. This shit is loose, and in the toilet bowl it looks like the mushroom plume left by an explosion of a thermonuclear bomb. with the yellow particles of shit being held in suspension in the cool, tidey bowl blue water.
I usually drink a Coke to sooth my stomach, and pop one or three or seven Pepcid AC's if that doesn't work. The problem with Pepsid ACs and Nexium for that matter are that they make you shit stomach acid. Too much of that shit burns the end of your colon, your ass ring, and your roids.
I don't want another roid attack. I've only had one and it was more excruciatingly painful than a heart attack. When you see your own blood in the shitter, you feel like you've power crapped an essential part of yourself. Bloody shits look like a goddamn abortion and ass blood smells worse than skunk spray or AXE.
I'm going to have a huge goddamn water bill this month. It's been a big shitting month. And since I'm so fat that I can only clean my ass after shitting by pressing my anus to a jacuzzi noozle and turning the jacuzzi on, that chews up lots of water.
