I have probably been to a thousand concerts in my life. In those 1,000 concerts I have seen hundreds and hundreds of people climb on stage and usually do one of three things. Stage dive, run around like they just won the lottery or approach the singer at which point they are generally either escorted off the stage. This can be done while walking or while being launched, but this is the usual result. However, in all of my years and years of attending concerts I have never seen someone make the national news for crashing a stage. Kyle King of Orlando changed all that Saturday night when he jumped on the stage at a Britney Spears concert. I don't blame him. He probably just wanted to see if she was really singing. Answer? Nope. Britney screamed when she saw the guy and no sound came out of the microphone. None. Zip.
Before Kyle could actually touch Britney, challenge her to a dance off, or complain about the people smoking, security and dancers swarmed him. At least they didn't have tasers. All this publicity only cost Kyle a $250 ticket given to him by the police. Oh, and the ticket to get in. Oh, and a few beers. Oh, and don't forget a program. It is too bad he wasn't plugging something or selling something or had thought of it in advance. That company that pays you for your gold is pretty sketchy, they probably would have paid him some bucks to plaster their phone number on his back.
Has Britney been ruled out as MV? I heard that If U Seek Amy on the radio yesterday-sounds nothing like her.
ReplyDeleteShe has not been ruled out and is still a popular guess.
ReplyDeleteHahahaaaaaa!
ReplyDeleteThat's choice.
I felt really sorry for her after watching that video. She is probably pretty fragile and that scared the heck out of her.
ReplyDeleteI don't know,it kind of looks staged, he didn't even try and touch her, just stood in front of her and it was two dancers that pulled him away dressed as security.
ReplyDeletePale/Harriet, who or what is MV?
ReplyDeleteheh, I actually find myself trying to escape her. The only way to do that is stay off the internet and leave the t.v. off.
ReplyDeleteMM, MV was the blind about the singer who was pulling a Milli Vanilli. It was what first brought me to CDaN - yay!
ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure if Britney is MV, but I know she uses many other singers and computer enhanced vocals on her songs.
I remember when Bruce Springsteen once grabbed a girl from the audience and pulled her onstage to dance with him. Last I heard, she was a giant cokehead or something. ;)
ReplyDeleteAwww, yes I remember this BI, I thought it was Paula Abdul.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mooshki
Paula Abdul is another popular guess for MV.
ReplyDeleteI saw a video of this from a different angle...she was absolutely terrified. You could see her screaming "Oh my god oh my god get him away!" (but yeah, no sound from the mic) and then she just kind of stood there for a moment before being able to compose herself. I do feel sorry for her. She shouldn't be on this tour in the first place, and then something like this happens.
LOL @ Mooshki!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know when it became the norm to fork over whatever it costs to get into a concert like Britney's to hear a recorded track.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for her. It's a shame her handlers are pushing her to preform. She needed a real break and maybe a big comeback in Vegas in a few years. Part of me thinks said handlers and the sycophants riding her gravy train (her own family) don't care if it went REALLY bad for this woman. That way they could still make bank by feeding off her like vultures. SAD just sad that nobody is out to help her without getting something in return.
ReplyDeleteThis is very useful site.I also tell you the link of Britney spears news
