Redmond O'Neal Says Farrah Fawcett Is Dying

Redmond O'Neal was in court this morning. He was supposed to be sentenced to jail for violating the terms of his probation. However, he managed to squeak out of it and will go to another drug rehab program instead. The reason? It probably had to do with the fact that he said his mother, Farrah Fawcett weighs just 86 pounds, is close to death and he wants to be there for her.

I guess like he was there for her when she was in the hospital recently and he was arrested for bringing drugs into a prison parking lot. Oh, or when he failed a drug test while she was in the hospital which is why he got his probation revoked in the first place. Redmond isn't out of the woods yet. He still has the trial for when Redmond and his dad were busted. Then he will probably have a trial for his most recent arrest.

The judge ordered Redmond to remain in custody until the end of April. At that point the judge will decide what rehab facility to send him to. Yesterday, RADAR reported that Redmond has not had one single visitor the entire time he has been in custody. No family and no friends. I think we should all go see him and start asking him for Tatum O'Neal stories she told him when he was younger. That would be a fun afternoon.

If rehab didn't help Redmond before what makes the judge think it will help now. This guy is a loser and a bum. He will never amount to anything.

  3. yes, this child had no real guidance and positive support however, as long as one has breath in their bodies they can change. i don't care for the black sheep theories.

i pray that this kid goes to see him mom.

How does he know her condition if no one has visited him?
Maybe he has spoken on the phone to someone?
I think maybe I am just a skeptic but is he even telling the truth about her condition?

  5. I hope he goes to a lock down rehab facility. My cousin failed several times in normal rehab. The one that worked was three months in a facility plus an additional three months in a halfway house (all of this was court ordered). It was enough time for him to lose contact with all his drugged out friends and he could spend some real time learning how to live and work while sober. After ten years of addiction, he's been clean thirteen years.

  6. Farah is due to die anyday. The cancer has moved to her liver. It will be her before it is Swayze.

Oh, that brings up a Trifecta! Who will be the 3rd? Margaret Thatcher?

  7. This selfish, self-absorbed little twit will not even realize what he's lost until Farrah's been gone a few months or hell, years.

    :-(

I'm sure he's able to use the phone occasionally.

  10. @ Grace. Yeah, I agree. Almost. Maybe five pounds. I've met Farrah... skinniest woman I've ever seen. Very small-boned too.

  12. I know people will say I'm horrible, but the best thing that can happen to this kid is that if his self-absorbed mother does die, his Dad too. Then maybe he can be surrounded by healthy people for once in his sad little life. I don't for one minute think Ryan hasn't visited this kid in a 'tough love' act, he hasn't visited because he doesn't want the bad press. ALL expect one of Ryan's kids have drug problems, that is not a coincidence, that is because Daddy is a drug addict.

  13. I agree with Anna. This family is a train wreck and this guy's life was a tragedy before his mother got sick. It doesn't absolve him of personal responsibility. All I'm saying is that I wouldn't want to have walked a mile in his shoes at any point in his life.

  14. Sad for all involved. But the kid is a drug addict, not a murderer or rapist. Doesnt deserve the nasty comments from Ent..As far as we know hes only a danger to himself.. His mother is dying.. Show compassion.. All of you reading this blog are FAR from perfect...Lets peek into your lives and see how messy they are.

  15. Redmond O'neal reminds me of Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. The man is a sociopath and no one wants to believe it because he is an upper class white male. Society just does not want to believe that people who have that much privilige are capable of doing anything wrong. Sad.

  16. This child is a good example of why Hollywood stars shouldn't really reproduce. Career and fame comes first, children last.

  17. I agree with Greg. Have some damned compassion. This kid's life is full of pain and it's because so many people are such heartless bastards.
