Today's Blind Items
This one is a little different because I am going to give you the name of the show. Sober House. See? I make things easy. Well, it turns out that of all the people on the show Sober House, only one has stayed sober the entire time, and it was a shocker to me who it is. I guess he would be a C list which is pretty high for that show. Used to be B list for sure, and is probably the wildest person in Hollywood when he is drunk or high. Name recognition? Probably an A, if for nothing else than it is unique.
Andy Dick.
ReplyDeleteI second the Dick
ReplyDeleteThe Dick-Man it is!
ReplyDeleteRodney King is on that??? Sad :(
hell, i was only rooting for rodney. damn...rodney king. go to your AA meetings and a good ass therapist!
ReplyDeleteIt must be Andy Dick. But that makes me sad because it means that Rodney King has relapsed, and he seemed to be working really hard on staying sober.
ReplyDeleteHas to be Dick. He's the only one close to C list.
ReplyDeleteAndy Dick, fo sho. :)
ReplyDeletethis shouldn't be a surprise to anyone: addiction relapse rates vary from 85 - 90%.
ReplyDeletethere are what - 10 people in that house? so only one remaining sober fits the numbers.
definitely Andy Dick.
seth is a goner. i hate to say it. he is so far gone that he needs God and his many helpers. he needs a miracle.
ReplyDeleteamber needs a therapist too. i am surprised her looks have hold up.
last post. i forgot that drummer dude needs a miracle too. dr drew imma need you to go away. real talk.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for Andy--I thought I had read a blind item (not here) that alluded to the fact he might have been out partying, so I am glad he's not. But I agree--soo sad for Rodney.
ReplyDeleteAndy Dick seems pretty serious about changing for himself and family. The rest seem into it for kinda help and kinda the fame they crave.
ReplyDeleteDamn! I've been really rooting for Rodney. I thought he had the best chance.
ReplyDeleteI've forgiven Andy for being an ass because the episode of News Radio where James Caan follows Matthew around is one of my favorite half hours of tv ever.
ReplyDeleteNot long ago Andy was on a series of talk shows discussing the fact that he has to wear a monitor on his leg which will notify police if he ingests any alcohol/drugs. He went on to say that he has been completely clean since, and cannot deviate from his program or he will be remanded into custody. He fits.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Andy Dick. Good for him, I wish him the best.
ReplyDeletekiefer sutherland is very wild when he's high or drunk!but he's not C list guy!
ReplyDeleteYep...Andy Dick. I still think he's superfunny. Loved his MTV show back in the day...

ReplyDeleteHe's also not on Sober House, pomme.
ReplyDeleteI love Andy (his reality show was one of the funniest ever)....glad it seems he's taking sobriety seriously.
I have been rooting like hell for Rodney - he's seems like a decent, hardworking guy. But most addicts relapse several times befor ethey get on the wagon for good.
I was gonna guess Rodney as well, but he's not on any list so I'm jumping on the - well, let's rephrase that - I'll say Andy Dick, as well. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Dick. I'm ashamed to say I watched an episode the other day and he seemed sober and very different than any past behavior.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone seen Head Case? Andy Dick is absolutely hilarious on it as a therapy patient who gets inappropriately drunk with his therapist. Good stuff. I really hope this blind is him; he was always terrifically funny on NewsRadio and I really hope he cleans up his act. The tabloid pics of him drunk all over young girls (and sometimes boys) are just too gross for words.
ReplyDeleteThat was easy. I am happy for him and wish him the best.
ReplyDeleteGood for Andy! Does anyone know what happened to Seth after he disappeared that one time? I never catch the show unless they have all day marathons, and the last one I saw he disappeared and was skyping with the housemates or something while on drugs.
ReplyDeleteMooshki, you said it! I still remember that episode...THE BEST! Good for Andy. I hope he can turn it around.
ReplyDeletedoes anyone else feel that Ent owes us another blind? this barely qualifies! : )
ReplyDeleteThis is totally Andy Dick, which I'm pretty happy about. But it's damn shame about Rodney, though...
ReplyDeleteHe said that only one has stayed sober the entire time. I know it's not good, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the others have completely given up and are using every single day.
ReplyDeleteI am an eternal optimist.
That's exactly right, Kara. Most addicts have relapses, as I said. A relapse is dangerous, but not the end of the road for sobriety. Sobriety is a journey, not an event.
ReplyDeleteHell, even though Steven obviously wasn't sober throughout the tapings, I'm still proud of the fact that he's "being good" while he's on the road right now. It's definitely not easy when a ton of his current bandmates are, shall we say, having to "make private stops" on a regular basis, but at the same time, at least no one is using in front of him. Hell, it really IS water in the water bottle this time. Which is good, because Steven is so damned sad. He wants to die, and I hate seeing that from him, because when he's not depressed, he's one of the coolest fellas out there.
ReplyDeleteIt's gotta be Andy. I applaud this cause he's been fucked up for so long so good for him. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI'm sad that the rest of them have relapsed. Seth is gonna be dead soon. Dude had a heart attack and still went back. I'm surprised that Adler is still alive.
Wow--I'd never even heard of this show. Is it as appalling as the wikipedia article makes it sound? I'm a fan of trashy and voyeuristic reality TV--even stuff like "Showbiz Moms & Dads"-- but filming Z-list Hollywood detritus in a downward spiral of addiction for the entertainment value just feels wrong, somehow.
ReplyDeleteDr. Drew's been Twittering that the cast is doing well...maybe he was talking about another of his shows tho...
ReplyDeletei'm so happy to hear that it's andy! even tho he seems like a prick when he's drinking, he seemed (of course being the operative word, here) like a sweet, genuine guy sober. yay for him!
ReplyDeletetho it means rodney fell off... that's disappointing, i was really rooting for the guy. all of em actually.
Andy Dick was on Loveline with Dr. Drew last week. He's still clean. It was the most lucid appearance he's ever had on that show.
ReplyDeleteSad about Rodney, he was on Loveline about a month ago and was still sober and really taking it seriously. Going to meetings and working the steps. He sounded really good and Dr. Drew was really proud of him. Sad if he's fallen off the wagon recently.
Aw man, you spoiled it for me! I love this show and was hoping at least Andy and the AI chick stayed sober.
ReplyDeleteEnty, more pics of Dr. Drew pretty please?
Good for him! We all love a success story of this kind and best wishes for the future. I hope the others on the show can take inspiration from him, even if they have fallen off the wagon because they can get back on. They have to keep trying because it's not a failure but an opportunity to learn. Look at Andy, this is his umpteenth time in rehab.
ReplyDeleteThere will be failures, the key thing is that they try to get right back on track....some do.
ReplyDeleteThe Dickmeister!
ReplyDelete/no one else said that, did they?
Life is so long
ReplyDeleteLife is so short
To most it's a wandering road
Finally finding out, where one must go
The beauty lies herein one's toil
Ror, I didn't know you had it in you! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Andy Dick. HE is funny in anything he does!
