Seinfeld Cast To Reunite
At least for a few minutes, the Seinfeld cast will reunite for television. No, it won't be as their characters from the show, but for the first time since the show went off the air, the entire cast will be together on a television show. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the four are currently filming several episodes for the show Curb Your Enthusiasm which stars Larry David who is the co-creator of Seinfeld and the original "George."
With the exception of Michael Richards, the other three cast members have made appearances on Curb, but never all at the same time. I am actually excited about this. Curb Your Enthusiasm is a great show anyway, and this should make for a very surreal experience. I'm more interested in how the shows will be written, rather than the novelty of having all of them together again. I'm wondering if perhaps we could see a show within a show one more time, and whether this could lead to one or two more Seinfeld episodes at some point in the future.
yah ...be still my heart !!
ReplyDeletei may be in the minority here...but i could never get into the original show...and this reuniting thing is all sorts of yaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnn for me.
ReplyDeleteI didn't start watching this show until almost the end - but man some of the episodes are still classics. My favourite was the backwards one....and the ones where Elaine "dances". Pure gold. I may have to actually breakdown and get that channel.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, this'll be my first time seeing Michael Richards since his "troubles."
ReplyDeletei love Curb.
ReplyDeleteLarry David is a better George than George.
It should be interesting to see the welcome Michael Richards receives since his racial tirade and 'apology".
ReplyDeleteI loved Seinfeld and would watch the reruns all day long. After the Michael Richards disgusting tirade it wasn't the same.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I tried to watch an episode when Michael came on I'd get sick to my stomach.
Thanks for running it for me a-hole.
No, I won't be watching Curb Your Enthusiasm.
I still dance like Elaine
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that tirade will be addressed. Curb Your Enthusiasm is based an awfully embarrassing situations Larry gets himself into, which is why I can't really watch anymore. It gets to be a bit too much at times. The best one ever (imo) is still the Beloved Cunt episode.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they will do a Bizarro type episode where they all guest star as characters totally opposite of their Seinfeld characters....
ReplyDeleteI don't like Seinfeld especially with the remark he made about the author. The author was suing him for slander.
ReplyDeleteThe 4 of them have an unbelievable chemistry between them. Hopefully they will be playing similar versions of their Seinfeld characters.
ReplyDeletei remeber the episodes that 'george' and 'elaine' were in but not jerry? I thought i'd seen every episode! can anyone help?
ReplyDeleteUh. Does anyone else remember how terrible the very last episode was?
ReplyDeleteI don't have gigantic hopes for this reunion. Sorry.
coolness.
ReplyDeleteyes i saw the michael richards thing and i too was floored.
however seinfeld holds a special place in my heart and 10 years of something verses 2 disgusting min of something isnt going to change thaat.

ReplyDeleteJenna, Jerry made a cameo in the episode where Larry is in The Producers. When Larry forgets his line and they pan to all his friend and family in the crowd, they show Jerry making a face. So it wasn't really much of an appearance, since he didn't have any lines or real acknowledgment.
