Mandy Moore Gets Married
I don't usually write about weddings, but when you do it quiet and sneaky like Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams, I guess it deserves a little mention. According to US Weekly, the pair got married yesterday in Savannah, Georgia. Mandy had said that she wanted a quiet wedding and apparently she got just that. I mean she got married on a Tuesday far away from Hollywood. Although I always wish a couple the best, neither of them have had the best luck with relationships.

ReplyDeleteThis makes me smile. Good for them.
ReplyDeleteWow, she actually married him????? Congrats I guess. Hate to be cynical but.......... I doubt it lasts a year.
ReplyDeletehe looks like a woman in that pic ... i always thought of mandy moore as a girl i could actually date if i met her, which made her appealing to me ... must be her girl-next-door image
ReplyDeleteenty, sometimes your logic baffles me. two people who are getting married for the first and hopefully only time usually havent had the best of luck in prior relationships. only one relationship in your whole life works out if you're lucky.
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope Ryan's stopped drinking.
ReplyDeleteThe fact she had a real non-publicized, non-Hollywood wedding is, by itself, wonderful. Too many celebs pretend to want a private wedding, only to invite anyone with a camera and some time to kill.
ReplyDeleteI do hope they make it.
Oh god, that is NOT going to end well.
ReplyDeleteKatie - I think he means the issues they've had. They broke up a number of times before their quick engagement (and marriage).
ReplyDeleteAlso include any other relationship problems they have had with other people (i only read about these two on CDAN and Laineysgossip so i don't know the score on that front).
Is it wrong of me to automatically think quick/private wedding = pregnancy?
ReplyDeletei get that they have had a tumultous relationship together. when enty said "neither of them have had the best luck with relationships" i took it to mean in the past with other people. he didnt say "they have not had the best of luck together in the past". its not a big deal but enty drives me crazy sometimes when he makes those kind of statements. of course they did not have the best of luck with relationships in the past or else they would still be in those relationships! everything ends badly in some way, or else it wouldnt be the end.
ReplyDeletethe guy talked shit about her to anyone who would listen when they broke up last time.
ReplyDeleteno trust!
she's a fool.
I have no idea who this guy is, but he looks like Yahoo Serious' nerdy older brother....
ReplyDeleteDNfromMN you took the words right ouf of my mouth.
ReplyDeleteI dont know how to feel about this one. I want to be happy for her.
ReplyDeletebefore I scrolled down, as I saw his face I thought he was Mike Myers dressed for a new role
ReplyDeleteEgad
well----isn't Mandy in her Saturn return? 29 or so?
Sometimes people develop long-term skillz at during that time period...
I like her more than him but I hope they make it

I'm just glad she is off the market & leaving My Georges alone!
ReplyDeletei cannot believe that lovely girl married such a colossal tool.
ReplyDeletei don't know anything about their relationship, but oddly, i like her.
ReplyDeleteand i haven't been there in years, but savannah is absolutely one of the most beautiful cities in the south. i mean, NOLA's a favorite, but savannah would be a dream place to have a wedding.
hmmm. i'm thinking maybe i'm missing the south too much.
and cynical me agrees, perhaps a pregnancy? i know they look THRILLED to be together in that pic.
She has the most unusual taste in men. She's gone from Zach Braff to DJ AM to Ryan Adams. I guess she likes to keep people guessing. Hope it works out. She seems kind of fragile to me.
ReplyDeleteCarrie S, that was my thought, too!
ReplyDeleteThough I must admit I love the idea of that kind of wedding...small, private, in the middle of the week. All that stress for 1 day? No thanks!!
