Rachel Bilson Goes Off On The Paps

I think one of the things that paps are going to regret is the introduction of video into their world. The reason is that by now we have seen what kind of inane questions they ask, and the way they try and provoke celebrities into a reaction that will sell better.

In this instance, there was none of that but I am completely on the side of Rachel Bilson. She and her little sister were out shopping yesterday at Toys-R-Us and were being hounded by a group of paps who were calling out her name to get her to look up and kept racing from aisle to aisle to try and get a better shot and were basically just being annoying.

Earlier in the day Rachel had been really nice to them and let them take shots of her alone and even one or two of her sister. However, by the time they got to the store things had got way out of hand and none of the employees of the store had any experience in dealing with paps and no one was willing to kick them out and so it really got crazy.

As you can see here, Rachel finally had had enough and let them have it. They have definitely made an enemy of her and Toys-R-Us didn't do any favors for themselves either by not kicking out the paps when they had the chance.

  1. I feel bad for celebrities who are hounded by the papss-well the ones who don't want it, anyway. Like maybe they're having a bad day and dealing with their own personal issues and you've got people shoving cameras in your face asking personal questions. I would flip a biatch.

Love Rachel, and that's ridiculous following her and her little sister into a toy store. Talk about low.

  3. I just never understood why they feel they need to get 2 inches from their faces. They have zoom lenses. Just like in sporting events, they can zoom in on them, but then feel the need to touch their nose with the lens during the National Anthem. Makes me uncomfortable just watching.

It's one thing if you're a celebrity strolling down Robertson, but who in the world could possibly want pics of celebs doing mundane, boring crap like shopping at Toys R Us? I feel for Rachel and her little sister.

  6. I hope that someday there are laws protecting them from the harrassment they get when they are just going about their daily lives. The paps really overstep boundaries. There should be a black list for agencies that seem to get the over the line pics.

  7. What do the people that say paps are something celebs deserve to deal with, say about situations like this?

A toy store... What next - will they follow famous people into doctors appointments? Its not as if she called them and told them to turn up like Spendi would.

Laws really need to be instigated before Princess Diana 2.0 happens. Its disgusting what some people will do to make a quick buck.

  8. Rachel Bilson? What kind of stupid paps are these? I could see following a sister duo, like maybe Lindsay & Ali, into a toy store because they might be looking for dolls to stuff heroin in, but Rachel Bilson? Please.

As much as I loathe celebrities, I do think this is lousy. She played game, she gave them what they want. Couldn't they leave her alone after that?

  10. The paps harassing her there is almost as annoying as the celebs who get mad when they get chased by the paps when they eat at Koi.
