Brangelina Baby Bonzana - Adoption Time?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in Thailand this week touring refugee camps. It makes a nice change from the flashy premieres and glitz and glamor, and of course all the kids. Angelina was doing her UN thing which, unlike other former celebrities in her position, she actually seems to care about and work hard at bringing attention to the plight of refugees.

It isn't unusual of course for Angelina to go on these things. What is really unusual is for Brad to tag along as well. Now, maybe he just tagged along because he wanted to see the plight of Rohinyga boat people that he had been reading so much about in, well, lets face it, he probably had not heard of them until Angelina spelled out the word for him and showed him on a map where Thailand is.

So, they could be there for what one government minister described as private time but which I like to call the two minute drill. Yeah, that is why I don't get to practice my two minute drill very often. I'm just wondering if it is time for another child. It would be the perfect time and have escape so far the glaring eye of the paps while they make this move. What do you think? Will they come home with another kid? Do we even care? Even with as much money as Brangelina has, is there a cutoff point to where they should stop adding to their family? Can you imagine if Brad and Angelina ever split up what the juggle will be like to make sure all the kids get to see both parents? That will be one crowded McDonald's parking lot when they make the switch. Of course Billy Bob will be honking the whole time, calling everyone sport because he can't remember the kid's names, making cat calls at Brad, while chewing gum and drinking booze and asking Angelina when they were going to do it again. Good times.

  1. Again, another one I don't get. If they want to adopt, let them but I highly doubt they're being fair to any of the children by being a walking, talking Benetton advert.

  2. i really don't understand how you can give quality time to each individual child when you have so many in the age group where attention is critical.

  3. There's a few, or eight, where I know they can scoop up.

  4. I can't wait for the next 10 to 15 years. All these neurotic offspring are going to make for some great entertainment.

  7. LoL @ the Billy Bob part.

Angelina seems pretty sincere when it comes to her Humanitarian work.

  8. I hate to say it, because I actually believe they both truly enjoy using their time for good works, but these particular photo ops are highly suspect.

It has to have crossed at least their agents' and publicists' minds: Twin babies and twin Oscars in the same year. It crossed mine; I'm way out here in Indianapolis.

Re: Academy Awards this year: Angie already has one, and Kate Winslet is way, way, way, way, way, way overdue. Sorry Angie, try again next year.

As far as Brad: They will give him one this year ONLY if it's a "Thanks for making Hollywood so much $$$ award" -- kinda how George Clooney was an absolute LOCK the year he was nominated for "Michael Clayton."

No offense is meant to either gentleman's talent. I have loved watching them both for years, it's just the Oscars in particular are so much more than who was the 'best.'

So, of course, Brad will eventually get one for something, definitely.

  9. Sorry guys, I am a film fan, and a slight Oscar history buff. I always have theories and I've won every Oscar pool I've ever entered. I'm a geek, like bad.

Sorry I prattle on, is all.

Enty: The McDonald's-child-swap reference made me start to tear up, but I quicklt started laughing b/c BBT would play a great 70's-era 'crappy stepfather.' Hilarious!

  10. Pre-Oscar photo-op though these two do seem to care about their charitable work.

I'm not a Brangelina hater or loonie so I don't really care how many kids they have, but if Brad ever leaves Angie and marries Zahara I'm sure she could cry on Mia Farrow's shoulder.

  12. OMG! Molly! I was totally talking about the crap-tacular "Syriana"!!!

Forgive me, I misspoke, and am actually high right now, that's a lot of my problem.

I really do know a lot of Oscar trivia, I swear!

("Syriana" was okay, but forgettable is all.)

  13. She has to pop over to Cambodia to add to those latitude/longitude tattoos on her back.

  14. If I never had to cook a meal, wash a dish, iron a shirt, vacuum a rug, dust a damn thing, I could find plenty of time to share with six kids. They have the money, they have the love to give, let em go for it!

  18. libby, lmao!!!! no worries, i was just confused and since i don't remember much about who won what when, i thought i'd ask.

i'm not a big fan of syriana either, but loved michael clayton.

  19. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED "Michael Clayton" as well---probably why the T.H.C. had convinced me that George won for the FAR superior film.

  20. I agree with Jeannies Bottle -- these two can afford to have as many kids as they wish -- and they are doing so purposely. They don't have to spend their time doing laundry, shopping, cooking, or all the stuff that takes up so much of one's time.

They are free to enjoy their children.

I have never had a problem with couples who wish to have as many children as they want -- so long as they can afford them.

The woman who had the octuplets on the other hand, is doing none of those children a favor.

  21. Ditto what Jeannies Bottle and Grace said.

Hilarious Billy Bob scenario. Not far off the mark I think.

  22. WTF is Angie doing with that smile on her face? That is the smile I have when I'm on the clearance aisle. She should fire the photog that realeased this pic.
The somber I'm in Mother Teresa garb pic is much better for the public.
    Seriously.

  23. Why can't she adopt an American child for a change? They need the same love and attention, too.
