    He was a definite crush of my pre-teen years, from Fantasy Island.
    (I liked older men, okay?)

    Anyway, he was awesome, and supposedly extremely sweet, and maintained something like a 60-year marriage and had 4 kids.

  11. I've heard from two or three people that he was a very classy man who went out of his way to encourage new talent.

    He was also devoted to his wife, and helped look after his sister-in-law (Loretta Young) at the end of her life.
