In other news, Lainey has completely jumped the shark. She just wrote that Maggie Gyllenhaal's dress was the best of the evening. I love Maggie and try to embrace her eccentric style, but jeez, that monstrosity of a dress totally overshadowed her. It wore her, not the other way around.
Sylvia - IMO, Lainey thinks she's extremely knowledgeable about fashion and considers herself to be very fashion-forward. I disagree. She has a certain taste - that's all. Some of the stuff she falls all over just makes me cringe.
I will be sooo happy when the sheer-with-nude look goes out of style (as Renee is wearing above, and Gwyneth has worn recently). It's almost embarassing to look at them. On the other hand, Salma Hayek's nude-toned dress looks stunning.
Lainey can suck it and she's a local gal. she jumped the shark a long ass time ago. she is all bark and no bite int he gossip world IMO. if we wanted kiss ass we'd read Popsugar or US Weekly. SIT DOWN Lainey.
I swear this is the 2nd time I've defended Renee, but I don't think it's that bad. I'm not sure it's great, maybe a different color under the top layer? "Nude" wasn't the best choice, unless you're going to do it for real. :) People like to dog Renee a little too much, I feel sorry for her.
Salma's about to faint all sucked in, but drop-dead gorgeous. Rumer looks good! Something Dunaway-ish about her look here. Zellweger--I just can't quite put my finger on her crazy mix of old-timey and sex kitten and ??? but she looks awesome. RDJ and his lady look happy, good to see. I think Pene hates Hollywood.
I know shakey- i actually thought they had blurred out her chest, that it was sheer and they were protecting all our eyes by blocking it out. Salma and Sallie Fields look really good. I think rumer's dress is pretty but her face looks like she is in the middle of her own soap opera set, it looks very stormy and angusty for like no reason!
