Complaint Letter Update
Thanks to everyone who wrote, e-mailed, commented or otherwise informed me about the offer from Virgin to the writer of the world's greatest complaint letter. If you have not read the letter you can click here.
Meanwhile, FOX News is reporting that the author of the letter has been given the opportunity to sample food for Virgin whenever they test new meals at the catering company. The author of the letter has not decided whether he will accept. But, if he does, I can assure you there will be no peas in the dessert. "Richard. Do you hear me Richard?"
The Richard. Is killer.
ReplyDeleteI think he should accept the position of Virgin Food Taster and appear in an ad campaign boasting of the new no slop policy.
ReplyDeletefunniest post EVER
ReplyDeleteOh, lordy, my brain must be in that place again. Cheryl, I read your comment as "the position of Virgin Taster." Bad Mooshki.
ReplyDeleteLOL that letter is classic. As a frequent flyer on Virgin I can say that any dish involving custard should be avoided at all costs.
ReplyDeleteHope he accepts the job and gets me some better food!
lol. Branson was on Virign radio in Vancouver yesterday but Buzz never asked him about the letter!!!
ReplyDeletefor shame dude, you had him right there!
That was seriously my laugh for the day. I hope he accepts the offer. If he doesn't, then the next time he has peas in the dessert he will have no one to blame but himself.
ReplyDeleteI'd be to busy thanking my lucky stars for being able to afford flying anywhere and having that luxury before bitching incessantly about notoriously disgusting food, but I guess that's just me.
ReplyDeletethat's awesome! i so hope he takes the offer, if for no other reason that it'll be a great story to tell the kids someday.
ReplyDeleteshame on you mooshki (my mind went there too)!!
ReplyDeletenow i'm afraid to comment!!
I wouldn't touch that crap with a ten-foot pole... just give me flight vouchers and I'll brown bag it.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad Sabena went out of business - best airplane food I ever tasted.
