It's All For You

Over the next few hours you may notice the site going wonky like Paris Hilton's eye. The reason for this is one last effort to stop the glitch. In order to remove the code causing the glitch, the site is going to be tossed around for the next hour or so. I hope this will fix everything.

I think that most of us will put up with almost anything when it comes to your site. Thanks for the warning.

  5. Gotcha! After the recent *ahem* absences and omissions, you had us all worried there for a minute.

  6. As long as Full Frontal Friday comes back I'll be cool with it.

  7. Is that the "everything sort of freezes up while loading the page" glitch?

    If so... good riddance!

Yeah, what's that all about? No peen for two whole weeks, I am deprived!

The site appears to be fixed (knocking furiously on my desk) because it opened with no hesitation.

    Good job!

You do realize, Enty, that Full Frontal Fridays constitute my entire sex life?

  11. I was just catching up on yesterday's posts 'cause I was out sick, and I noticed something interesting. The timeline:

People complain about the site glitches for months. Enty tries some fixes, but there are still some problems.

Hot Cha Cha sends a drop-dead-sexy pic in.

Hot Cha Cha complains in the comments about said site glitches.

Enty puts the repairs at the top of his priority list.

Coincidence? I think not. Enty will do anything for a pretty girl! ;)

(Don't worry, FW, we all know you still have his heart! :) )

I told you how to fix the glitch, dude, you just never listen to me.

Its because you have a three tiered blog and add-ons on both side. I know this because of how long I've spent modifying my own blog and reading code and reading the code and work of others. Its because you're three tier.

  16. Molly...for many of us, when we get to the site, it freezes for a number of minutes. It also causes other browser windows and programs to be slow for lots of readers (myself included).

It seems to be fixed now - fingers crossed that this is permanent!

  18. Never experienced any glitches either, that I know of.

Would it have been affecting my e-mail by any chance? (prolly a really dumb question, but our e-mail has mysteriously sucked balls lately...)

  19. Fantastic! It loaded smoothly!

I hope the fix is permanent.

    Thank you, Enty!

  20. I never had any problems with the site, and I visit more times per day than I care to admit. Maybe it depended on what browser you were using...

  22. I think it was only Internet Explorer that had problems. Sadly, some people's workplaces wouldn't let them download a decent browser. Damn The Man!

  23. I open it on Firefox, FWIW.

  24. don't believe the hype Moosh, it did it even in Firefox here that i slyly downloaded.

  25. I tried Firefox. I even tried it on different computers and it was still a headache.

    I notice no problems today.

  26. Oh awesome, it seems to have been fixed!

On my Mac at home, I don't have any problems with the site but I do on the PC at work. Which meant I spent less of my time at work on this site. I think ent might just have gotten me fired.
