I'm confused, isn't The Daily Mail from the UK? I guessed Becks due to thinking Europe, and England, where American soccer is called football. Am I wrong?
I agree with pk. I think this is someone from European football. I don't know if it's becks, though. He just seems to be the only one we know over here.

ReplyDeleteIt must be Gary Linekar; he is an ex-footballer turned TV presenter for the BBC's "Match of the Day" program.
ReplyDeleteHe has also starred for about 10 years in TV adverts for Walkers crisps with the strapline "No more Mr Nice Guy".
