Today's Blind Items

Well it is the period for fall television premieres. This one hasn't kicked off yet, but when it does, you need to keep an eye out to see if you can catch any of the sparks that are apparently happening on set between this married B- list actress and her in a relationship C+ male co-star. Apparently his relationship is not going smoothly at all now that his significant other caught him sending dirty texts to the B list actress. What our B list actress probably doesn't know is that the C lister has a reputation for always cheating on his significant others with castmates and that our actress is nothing special to him. Hopefully she will realize that fact before she walks out on her husband.

  2. Aw, Molly, you should be kinder to Enty on his bad day. :( Gotta admit, this is a hard one. The shows that I watch that haven't aired yet don't seem to fit...

    ReplyDelete
  3. Peter Krause and Natalie Zea from Dirty Sexy Money

    Or

Taye Diggs and Kate Walsh from Private Pratice?

  4. mooshki, you should have seen what i wrote the first time and then erased. this was nice...lol. and it's not like this is a new complaint. soooooo frustrating.

  5. The way that Enty worded it makes me think that this is a NEW premier...Oh yeah, and I have no clue. Guess I'll go check out new shows premiering this fall.

  7. Gretchen Mol & ? (Most of her costars seem to be married.)

Oh god, if it's Marley Shelton I'm going to be bummed - I love her. Ewww, Marley & Marc Blucas? Why'd you have to make me go there, Enty! ;)

  8. Moll, maybe blind items aren't for you? :) Enty's are generally among the easiest of the bunch.

  10. i love blinds, mooshki, i just like when they come with good hints and aren't like throwing a speck of sand on the beach.

  11. Alright, so I'm extremely bored and had time to research shows premiering this fall. "True Blood" is a show premiering on HBO, although it started on the 7th. It stars Anna Paquin, so I checked her Wiki. Here's what it says:
"Paquin's previous relationships are said to include a DJ who lived in New Zealand and fellow actors Logan Marshall-Green and Kieran Culkin. It has been widely reported that she is currently dating Stephen Moyer, who plays her on-screen boyfriend Bill Compton in the HBO series True Blood. They have been dating since the pilot episode for the show was filmed in the summer of 2007."

She's not married though. Guess I'll keep looking until the pizza guy gets here.

  12. OK- here's my extremely educated guess (thanks Wikipedia):
Amanda Tapping starring in "Sanctuary" with Robin Dunne and Christopher Heverdahl.
She's married, was on Stargate and some soaps, so I guess she'd be B-. I don't know who the hell the guys are, but apparently Christopher was on "Smallville."

Not interesting enough for all the work but at least I wasted a good twenty minutes. It is now after 6 eastern, and I can enjoy a glass of wine without feeling too guilty about it...

how about someone from brothers and sisters? It hasn't premiered yet, I don't think, and there were lots of rumors about hookups between various cast members. I don't watch it, so don't have any guesses on the actual people in the blind.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I also read this as implying that it's a new show that's premiering, not a returning show.

Which narrows it down some. These are the only three yet-to-debut shows with pairings that sort of match.

    (1) Marley Shelton & Rufus Sewell (11th Hour)
    (2) Gretchen Mol & ???? (Life on Mars)
    (3) Cynthia Stevenson & Bob Saget (Surviving Suburbia)

Honestly, I don't know that I'd call any of those three women "B- list" at this point...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Bros and Sisters premiered last night.

Peter Krause is higher than C+ by virtue of 6FU, and I don't think Natalie Zea is married, but Dirty Sexy Money has a big cast and doesn't premiere until Wednesday. How about Glenn Fitzgerald from that show and ??? Is Lucy Liu married?

  17. Molly-- I just have to say something with regard to your (1st, 2nd, 3rd) comments above....
If Enty’s BIs are too thinly veiled for your taste, why not find something else to do than rather than comment on this site ad nauseum. Your snark isn’t really needed on a day when all Americans should be worried about far more than someone else’s Hollywood gossip. The site is here for entertainment and I love the job that Enty does; a good dose of gratitude seems to be in order.

    ReplyDelete
  18. m, if you're so worried about the money you're losing in the stock market, maybe you shouldn't be pissing away your time reading my comments on a gossip site.

i don't comment on this site ad nauseum, and i don't remember seeing you post before, so maybe you had to make up a name just to be a bitch, i don't know. either way, skip my posts in the future if you don't like them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Molly, I've been trying to be more subtle than m, but it really makes me unhappy when you say mean things to Enty, especially today. :'(

    ReplyDelete
  20. mooshki, this is what i posted,

omg, pls try giving us some clues. this could be anyfuckingbody.
    siiigghhh.....

honestly, you think that was mean? did i say, *fucking give us some clues*? or *give us some fucking clues*? Or *try fucking giving us some clues*?

or did i say please and say it could be anyfuckingbody?

i'm sorry you're unhappy, but it makes me unhappy that you think i was being mean. pls read thru my post again.

    ReplyDelete
  21. well said, m.

Personally I like to twist my brain in knots on these things. And you know what? If I don't ever figure or find out the answer it will not matter a whit in my life.

That being said, I would think a B- list actress would be one I ( a longtime lurker, infrequent poster, and part-time gossip reader) would have heard of.
Cynthia Stevenson or Lucy Liu work for me.

Thanks for all your hard work, Enty. I can't even return emails on a regular basis! :-P

    ReplyDelete
  22. Rufus Sewell is a good guess, I know he was dating his costar Alice Eve last year in Rock n Roll on Broadway.

I don't follow the alphabet very well, but could Christian Slater and Madhen Amick fit?

    ReplyDelete
  23. "grace, i'd think it was fake but enty didn't make it up. all of his are fake. fortunately he copies 99%of his scoops from other sites and this one was copied. i believe it."

-- Molly, to Grace, from some comment a few months ago. Surely some of you remember that thread? I LOLed, as the kids say.

See, here's what I don't get: if you think it's all just this big, asstarded, fictitious web of lies, why even argue with other people about it?

    ReplyDelete
  24. ernestine, you're right. i still don't believe the blinds enty makes up, although i've been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

you really do have waaaaaayyy too much time on your hands if you had to go digging that up, or do you keep a file on people?

thanks for keeping your post short this time, i actually read it. usually your ego kicks in and blah blah blah for twenty lines or more. yawn....

seriously peeps, i like mooshki, adrian, sylvia, several of the others that post, but the rest of you can fuck off. i have no respect for you and really don't care what you think.

ernestine and m, that includes you!

    ReplyDelete
  25. This makes me think of that old saying..."Fighting on the internet is like competing in the special olympics. You might win, but you're still retarded."

Seriously. There has been a lot if unnecessary hostility in the comments lately. I like this site because usually it doesn't have that crap. What's next? Are you going to start posting "FIRST!!!"?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Molly.... please get on with your life! You are being nasty for no reason.

    ReplyDelete
  27. amen harriet. i'm outta here. hopefully people won't hijack the threads tomorrow just to stir up shit.

mooshki, i hope you'll read my comment again. i posted out of frustration, not to be mean. i think even enty would know that.

    ReplyDelete
  28. "seriously peeps, i like mooshki, adrian, sylvia, several of the others that post, but the rest of you can fuck off. i have no respect for you and really don't care what you think.

    WOW.

I'm floored. Can't you imagine being in a high school gymnasium and leaning down to pick up this folded-up piece of notebook paper with that same exact text scrawled all over it in really bubbly pink ballpoint pen? Probably passed between JV Volleyball players during practice or something. I'd keep it just for the novelty of finding something so catty.

Molly. People think you're funny, in a way. And when you say *funny* things, they're often memorable, or worth remembering. That's all. You should keep this in mind, though: you can say a lot of stupid shit in just a few simple sentences.

  29. Today is Erev Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. May everyone here find peace and prosperity in the coming year.

And really, this is no place or day for a flame war. Hundreds of thousands people may be facing abject poverty within a few months; thousands of too young men and women have died in a war that (I'm sorry to those that disagree with me but this is how I see it) is for nothing and that has only brought hardship to hundreds of thousands more.

We come here for distraction from the very real sorrow of our neighbors, children, and parents who are suffering or even dying. Truly, if this blog doesn't measure up to your standards of distraction, that's ok--but allow those of us who enjoy this blog to do so in peace.

I think Enty does a great job, considering that he does this EVERY DAY, and gives us consistent content, without cruelty even to those he dislikes the most. I have never seen him draw a sperm on Eva Longoria's face, nor call Samantha Ronson SaMANtha. He is a gentleman, even to those who probably don't deserve it. We would all do well to emulate him in our daily life.

And really, no need to ever get personal here. If we can't all get along Rodney King style, then it's time to find a new blog on which to comment. In the meantime, remember that this is entertainment and that all of us are just humans, trying to do the best we can.

  30. "Fighting on the internet is like competing in the special olympics. You might win, but you're still retarded."

LMAO, I had forgotten that one! :)

Molly, maybe we could chat off-list? You can click on my name for my email.

  31. "I have never seen him draw a sperm on Eva Longoria's face, nor call Samantha Ronson SaMANtha."

Thanks, Gladys, for bringing the thread back to a hysterically funny place. I LOLed all over the place.

  32. And as you said, Happy Rosh Hashanah to everyone, let's hope and pray for better times. :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. And now, for my own little comic relief:

    BI Guess: BEN AFFLECK!!!!

    :-)

    Smile, guys!

I don't have a guess cos I don't watch that much network TV, but I'd jump Rufus Sewell!!! Yum!!!!

  34. Wild stab in the dark and I don't know if he is a whore or not....don't know anything about him other than he was married to Angelina at one point.

Wouldn't it be great if it were Eli Stone and Katie the Scientologist Lady?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Katie, awesome idea, but if it were her Enty would totally be rooting for her to "walk out on her husband." Getting screwed over by a douche would be a heck of a lot better than whatever Tom is doing to her. :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Katie - oh how I wish you were right, but, Jonny Lee Miller was married this summer. Maybe he had to marry the girlfriend to shut her up?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Anonymous6:28 PM

lol @ ENT is a gentleman. He may not draw cum bubbles but he DOES unleash on his subjects rather viciously at times! He may not call Ms. Ronson SaMANtha, but have you seen him go off on Denise Richards?

    ReplyDelete
  38. He is our d'Artagnan - fighting on the side of righteousness! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Since it is a season premiere, I'm not too interested. I guess I will be 3 months from now!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Just to add fuel to the fire, I don't think that what Molly said was all that mean.

Maybe people are just being sensitive.

    Team Molly!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Not a clue on this one - With two 'preteens' in our house the TVs seem to wander to Disney or Nick no matter WHAT I do-- I think I know the Hannah Montana and Jonas Bros. better than most 10 year olds! (I have to decompress with Discovery ID every night - need a dose of forensic files to cleanse my brain of "7 Things" et al.)

Enty, Cheer up! You could be subjected to daily doses of HM, Suite Life, or on a really lucky day - some real adult tv like Family Guy. I almost look forward to My Name is Earl.

I actually got to watch Bama play on Saturday - but had to hide in the bedroom for the last two minutes! Afraid something bad would happen if I stayed and watched...

    ReplyDelete
  42. I did overreact to Molly's first comment, because I'm upset about the general air of ingratitude lately. I'm not saying anyone needs to get down on their knees for Enty (you'd just trip over me, obviously) but I think what he does for us deserves more respect and gratitude than he's been getting in the comments lately.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Then all you had to do was express your opinion and move on. But bickering in forum for hours does nothing put put negative energy into everyone's air.

Either way, I have tremendous gratitude for Enty and tremendous sorrow for Diana.

    ReplyDelete
  44. found this link through IMDB that has all the premiere schedules.

  45. Erbe and D'onofrio from Law & Order Criminal Intent.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Another DSM guess

    Lucy Liu and Seth Gabel

    ReplyDelete
  47. Christian Slater's show premiers soon. He's married, isn't he? I'm too lazy to look.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I highly doubt that Enty would have been offended by Molly's initial comment. We lawyers tend to have thick skins--one has to in this profession. Also, there was nothing offensive in Molly suggesting that more specific hints are needed. That said everyone needs to calm the fuck down, quit sniping at each other and focus on guessing the blinds! That's the point of the comment section, right? This is a great blog and I generally always enjoy the intelligence and creativity of the posters guessing the blinds. I check this blog out daily but comment infrequently. Overall, I'd say well done to the items on the blog and the quality of the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  49. If it's a new show ... Kath and Kim: Molly Shannon and Mikey Day?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Good heavels, people; is this supposed to be the Oprah show where everyone is expected to be nurturing and "You go, girlfriend!" all the time? Lay off Molly already. All she said was this blind can't be solved any more than those danged Daily Mirror blinds. She didn't ask for giveaway blinds like the Rob Schneider one which named his TV show in the item; she merely said that there's not enough info to be able to even take a stab at it (and it's true; everyone's flailing hopelessly).

Having gotten that out of my system, my first guess was Rufus Sewell and Marley Shelton of "Eleventh Hour," but I SO prefer to think of HIM as the B lister and her the C, so I'm most likely wrong. "Dark City" fucking rocks, and "Planet Terror" soooo did NOT and never will!

    ReplyDelete
  51. WoW ! Mol, let me buy you a drink and some band-aids.

I arrived late for the party & must be a few drinks behind everyone else. I'm not really understanding how the government non-bailout as anything to do with Molly. Let me guess. The House agreed long enough to declare it National Beat Down Molly Day?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Mooshki: very well put. He's taking time away from a very busy cupcake schedule to entertain us and i think more people should remember this. We arent really doing him a favour by posting on this site, he's doing us one by making this blog in the first place.

I think he even posts more regularly than MK at dlisted - and that boy's made it clear how much free time he has...

    ReplyDelete
  53. "30 Rock" hasn't premiered yet, so I'm gonna have to go with Tina Fey and Tracy Jordan. :P

hey big thanks you guys. yea, i try to ignore the bullshit, but i'll take the drink and bandaids anyways....lol.

seriously, if anyone doesn't like my posts, save yourself time and skip them instead of causing unrest by piling on me. if i'd been rude, i would have deserved it, but i wasn't. in fact, all of you flaming me were rude.

okay, i owe you four...thanks for speaking up for me. i'll upload anything you want.... a pony, new car, the cloon, a million dollars, just name it...lol.

  62. Blah, having a life is overrated. :)

  63. elizabeth reaser and eric balfour (the ex-list)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Very welcome, Molly! I happen to agree with you--some of the blinds are just impossibly vague and could apply to just about any celebrity. Oh,and I'll take a car. Just kidding.

    ReplyDelete
  65. you can have the car, sillyme...and i'll keep clooney since nobody else claimed him.

  66. Debra Messing in The Starter Wife? It's starting 10/10, I think. But I don't know about any male co-stars.
