Today's Blind Items

#1 - I like snarky blind items and funny ones, but not the biggest fan of sad ones. But, it is what it is and this B- list mostly television actress with A- list name recognition had a miscarriage. No drugs or anything. No shocking reason why. It is just what it is.

#2 - How shocked will the world be when they find out about this conservative, national talk radio host and his 18 year old sometime girlfriend? Not as shocked as they will be when they find out she was only 17 when they started doing the dirty.

  1. 1- Eva Longoria.

2- Rush?? lol no clue, dont listen to talk BS.

  2. I 2nd Jax-- I was thinking Eva also.

    ReplyDelete
  3. 2) it could be anyone from the foxhole. MORE THAN LIKELY ALL OF THEM!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  4. oh sorry, it said radio talk. my bad.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Most of the Faux News Channel people are on the radio as well.

    ReplyDelete
  6. #1, that's sad :'(

#2, answer: no one. The liberals won't be a bit surprised, and the conservatives won't believe it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. 1- Eva Longoria
    2- Someone from Fox News.

    ReplyDelete
  8. #2: Dr. Laura Schlessinger.

(now that you've all wiped the drinks off your monitors)

I bet #2 is Jerry Doyle, the actor who played Garibaldi on Babylon 5. He became a talker after his EPIC FAIL run for Congress as a Republican. He's nationally syndicated, has a decent following, too, around 3.5 million, was in Hollywood so Ent might have a connection, and Doyle is based in.... LAS VEGAS!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Actually, it's puke on my keyboard, not spit on my monitor, thanks. ;)

  10. FYI, here are the top conservative BSers (male persuasion):

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Neal Boortz, Glenn Beck.

    Here are others:
Mark Levin, Bill O'Reilly, Jay Mundy, Jim Quinn, G. Gordon Liddy, Bill Cunningham, Mike Gallagher

    ReplyDelete
  11. Glenn Beck and G. Gordon Liddy are both married....happily from what I've read and heard. Shocking. I know.

#1, I hope it's not Jennifer Garner. I thought TMZ had a picture of her crying earlier today, and now I can't find it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Walk, it was X-17, but since her pregnancy isn't a secret, would this be a blind?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Anonymous2:03 PM

mooshki, you are right, x17. I only feel bad for who ever it was. Sorry to name someone specific.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm sure this miscarriage wasn't caused by lifestyle choices, it is amazing how many actresses miscarry for one reason or another.

    ReplyDelete
  16. #1 rebecca romijn? whoever it is...that's horrible. wishing the best for her. it happens very very often and people don't talk that much about it.

#2 i bet it's rush limbaugh! he after what he said about elizabeth edwards yesterday, i'm sure enty had to bring up some dirt about him. what a douchebag! i'm a very peaceful and happy person, but especailly rush limbaugh and ann coulter make me completely lose my marbles and start yelling. *shudders with disgust*

    ReplyDelete
  17. S'okay, Walk. I was thinking earlier that even if it was an actress I hate I'd feel awful for her, but if it was someone I like, like Jen G., my heart would break. :(

It's too sad to look up the exact statistics, but it's tragic how common miscarriages are, and apparently on the rise.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anonymous2:09 PM

I feel shitty even speculating for #1 - a miscarriage is truly heartbreaking, and even the biggest a$$hole celebrities deserve privacy if it happens to them.
I'm sure #2 could be applied to most conservative jacka$$es, and I agree that no one will be surprised. We all know by now that conservatives have no morals.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It does appear to be Garner, doesn't it? That is why she is crying on X17. Really sad....

    http://x17online.com/celebrities/jennifer_garner/too_many_things-08132008.php

    ReplyDelete
  20. Jen looks about 5 or 6 months pregnant. I guess we will know in the next few weeks. If it is Eva Longoria, that would be sad too.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Just because Jennifer G. is upset, lets not jump to conclusions about her pregnancy.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Jennifer Garner should be about 5 months pregnant--it would be considered a stillborn, & she would be hospitalized.
Besides, now she is mostly movies, not TV.
I feel bad for whoever it is.

    ReplyDelete
  23. #2 MIchael Savage???? Or Rush???

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hope- I agree.
Regardless who it is it is a sad tragedy that does happen quite often. I've heard it's incredibly common among first time pregnancies. But J. Garner is so private I would think if it were her she wouldn't be out in public. Not that I know her :)
I'm not even going to specualate who it could be...out of respect.
But I will keep reading the guesses (which makes me somewhat hypocritical I guess)

    ReplyDelete
  25. John Edwards for #2. Oh, wait...he's a liberal pig.

    ReplyDelete
  26. And Edwards is not a radio host - yet. Sorry.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Famous Adrian is right. Jennifer G is too far along to have "miscarried." It would be a stillbirth, and I doubt she would be out and about crying...she would be at the very least at home on bed rest. My vote is for Eva. She has looked to be in that kinda fat/maybe pregnant range recently. Like maybe 10-12 weeks...which is a very common time for miscarriages.

Someone commented on how common miscarriages are. The most common estimate is 50% of pregnancies ending in miscarriage...of course many happen so early that the woman just thinks she is a little late.

I unfortunately know all this due to personal experience. No celeb, no matter how evil, deserves to have this played out in the media.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Who are loudmouths that aren't married? It didn't mention that the gf may be on the side, so guessing that maybe he isn't married?
Bill O'Reilly immediately comes to mind...

    ReplyDelete
  29. I don't think it's Jen - she was wearing white pants. I know from experience that if you have a miscarriage that late in a pregnancy, you are going to have heavy bleeding for quite a long time, and probably wouldn't feel comfortable wearing white paints.

    ReplyDelete
  30. oh yeah....you can add bill o'reilly to the ones who make me vomit or yell...*shudders some more*
    could be him too......

    ReplyDelete
  31. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm jaded. I think Jen Garner is the only one that wouldn't talk about a miscarriage. Eva and Rebecca Romaijn and Jerry O'Connell would be blabbing it and blubbering about it on Oprah.

    ReplyDelete
  33. #1 I agree w/ the Eva L-P guesses because of how Ent. worded the beginning of the blind: "I like snarky Blind Items...." and we know he dishes the Eva dirt with a fair amount of snark. My condolences to whomever the couple is, that's a difficult loss to bear, and I hope that surviving the situation draws the prospective parents closer, as opposed to driving them apart...damn, dude...bummer....

#2 I'm not up on my talk radio conservatives. I like to listen to Art Bell...

    ReplyDelete
  34. #1 Def sounds like Eva. She was trying to get preg and she gained a lot of weight quickly in the past couple of months.

Don't really like her but that is very sad.

    ReplyDelete
  35. How far along is Rebecca? She's having twins and that would be even m ore tragic if it were her. If it's not her I guess it would be Eva. Whomever it is...sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Anonymous3:37 PM

2- limbaugh, but frankly unless their fans find out they're gay it doesn't really matter to them.

    ReplyDelete
  37. What about Michael Medved for #2? (Sorry if this is a duplicate, I'm having some posting issues....)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Miscarriages aren't on the rise, we just know about more of them, due to ultrasound technology. Back in the day, women thought they had a late period. Now, because they get an ultrasound as soon as they miss a period, they know they're pregnant a lot sooner and then they have months to go before they're out of miscarriage danger zone.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Not shocked at all, because there is no indication that in this particular instance, 17 years old is below the age of consent. The person has to be single, because adultery is more shocking than having consensual sex with a person who is above the age of consent, even if one doesn’t approve of the age difference.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Stillborn means the person gave "birth" to a non-living baby. A miscarriage occurs when the fetus dies in the womb. Someone losing a baby at four/five months would be considered a miscarriage because the baby isn't full-term. Just wanted to clear that misconception up as it seems to be a repeated misconception in the comments today. I feel terribly for whoever it is but hope they realize that they can try again without incident. Two miscarriages later and now the mom of a 4-year old, I can attest to this fact!

    ReplyDelete
  41. all conservatives are not weird. i am a conservative on some things and a liberal on others. you can be a little of both. the statements that were made by some of the posters show how narrow minded and prejudiced true liberals are. having an affair with a 17 year old is bad no matter who this happens to be.

    ReplyDelete
  42. gossiphound: ...how narrow minded and prejudiced true liberals are...

if you're going to criticize the use of blanket statements, don't follow up with one of your own.

    ReplyDelete
  43. gossiphound, I'm not saying you in particular, but most conservatives give a pass to any sins committed by their chosen politicians and opinion makers as long as they continue to support money and war and guns.

Every conservative opinion maker I can think of has committed sins or been the center of scandals that should have ended careers. But it never does.

Honestly, it makes me so sad. We are so screwed, as a country.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wow...nothing like a little conservative bashing...geez!!!

    Anyway...is Dennis Miller national?

    Won't even speculate on #1.

    ReplyDelete
  45. both parties are filled with a bunch of lying, stealing, fornicating dikheds who don't practice what they preach, obama, mccain included.
    wake up folks.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Plot-there have been plenty of politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle who have a lot of baggage.

    Liberals:
    Clinton (both)
    Edwards
    Spritzer

    Conservatives:
    Nixon
    Hart
George Ryan-Illinois gov that just went to prison

    The point is:

#1-if they are a politician, then 99.9% of everything that comes out of their mouths are lies or simply what they think the voters want to hear

#2-Sex shenanigans really don't have a liberal or conservative face...a pig is a pig is a pig

#3-Half the country is conservative, yet many liberals feel it perfect acceptable to just bash bash bash any chance they get because us conservative only want war, guns, etc... Yet is it fair to say that all liberals simply want sex, taxes and welfare?

There are many reasons that people feel politically they the way that they feel and just because they do not agree with your way of thinking does not make them stupid.

I have spent my entire life being as politically educated and socially responsible as possible. I was even a Poli Sci major in college. My conservative values are based upon a great deal of thought, research and just plain gut instinct.

If your liberal values are based upon the same kinds of things, wouldn't you find it offensive to be spoken to the way you just spoke about us?

    Just a thought....

    ReplyDelete
  47. TRUE ABOUT MISCARRIAGES....I HAD ONE AND DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE I WAS PREGNANT. MY DOCTOR TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY, SOMETIMES THE BODY REJECTS THE EMBRYO EARLY IF THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG. SHE'LL TRY AGAIN AND SHE'LL MOST PROBABLY BE FINE....TO WHOEVER IT IS, I KNOW YOUR HORMONES ARE IN OVERDRIVE RIGHT NOW...IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT..IT HAPPENS.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thank you Ice Angel. Well said and I completely agree with your thoughts. I appreciate your thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  49. 1. Eva .. ??

    2. Rush .. def .. spend time in Palm Beach and you will learn all sorts of nasty things about that man. He is truly a pig.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ice Angel - you called Eliot Spitzer, SpRitzer - that's funny to me.

Anyways what kind of nasty stuff goes on with Rush in Palm Beach? Spill please (or at least link to a site where you've read about his shenanigans).

  51. Are we really absorbing the geezer raping the 17 year old? All of them are gross. Limbaugh? Yuck. With the Exception of Hannity, they are all yucky. Even then, his personality is yucky.

  53. #1 = Ernest Borgnine. He is in the Random Photos. Look at his weight too. Definitely him.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hey, does Larry King still have his radio show? Is he considered conservative? I'm not politically-minded so I believe suspenders are conservative enough. Will she be Wife No. 8?

    ReplyDelete
  55. hey guys...today winona ryder has announced she's splitting from her boyfriend. maybe she IS the answer to the blind and soon she'll "come out" as a lesbian?

  56. Some people are genetically predisposed toward miscarrying.
Its actually crazy that I had 2 livebirths because I have a genetic mutation (mthfr) that makes it so my body doesn't absorb folic acid (important for development of fetii).
I've had a few miscarriages. I just found out about the mthfr (aptly nicknamed motherfucker) when they were testing why my daughter had a stroke (apparently they initially thought it played a part but no)
I never got sensitive about the subject of miscarriages. Ent put it well "it is what it is" its sad and all, but yeah.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't know why I first thought Aniston. But after reading everyone else's thoughts, maybe it's Eva. Either way, it's sad that it happened.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I thought maybe Courtenay Cox for number one...even though like most of you I feel bad speculating about something like this. Then again, I speculate about a lot of things on here.

I thought her because apparently she had a lot of problems conceiving before Coco. Then again, perhaps it wouldn't be a secret...

    ReplyDelete
  59. #1 Can't be Garner. In the photos, she is wearing white pants, and you just would not do that after a miscarriage.

Anyway, is this even something to put in a blind item? It seems a little over the line and a huge invasion of someone's privacy when they haven't done anything to deserve it.

Enty, please consider NOT revealing this one, ever. Having a miscarriage is probably one of the most painful things a woman/couple can go through, and this woman does not deserve to have the media spreading around her personal pain.

    ReplyDelete
  60. 1. My first thought was Courtney Cox as well. However, Eva sounds like a reasonable guess too.

    2. Rush. (A family friend is one of his golf buddies. I would love to attempt to broach this topic with him. HA!)

    ReplyDelete
  61. I always have the hardest time trying to imagine being attracted to Rush Limbaugh.

It's not just that I wholeheartedly disagree with this politics and views on women. It's just that he is not in any way what I would call sexy, attractive,
    hot, decent, kissable, etc.

It's not his physical being, per se.

I think the inner Rush seeps out so as to make the outer Rush like this huge Danger Zone. Like someone should wrap him in crime scene tape or something.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Ice, I appreciate what you say. Having lived all over the place, I've seen gov'ts were the liberal/conservative divide isn't as abrasive or personal as it is in the USA (heck, there are usually 4 or 5 parties represented inside other gov'ts, which makes political discussion much more lively!)

But after the total crap we've had to eat from the conservatives for the past 8 years, I'm not about to back down on how I feel about Republicans anymore.

You really can compare John Edwards to Dick Cheney? How exactly has Edwards' lies affected you at all? Frankly, if you think his indiscretions carry the weight of the complete pack of lies Bush had you eating for 8 years, then your political thoughts don't run very deep.

Yes, I feel disgust for the US public that votes against their own interests so they can feel tough and bold like Rush and Sean. Am I supposed to feel otherwise?

The rest of the world now sees the US just as dangerous as Russia ever was, because the US people are happier with dictators who destroy anyone who disagrees with them. Can you argue against that? Were you demanding proof of WMDs? Did you ridicule all the officials who said their were none, because you wanted to believe Bush?

BTW, if you think I'm some sort of Muslim lover because I'm not a conservative (it's been said before, by US citizens in foreign countries - which really made us look smart letmetellyou!) guess again. I work very hard to keep secular gov't alive - which means NO religious influence, from any side.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Velvetstaccato...
I'm sorry you had to go through miscarriages...always awful.

But I wanted to clear up the miscarriage vs stillbirth thing. The definitions are very strict. Loss prior to 20 weeks=miscarriage. After 20 wks=stillbirth. Has nothing to do with where the fetus dies.

    http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=40784

    ReplyDelete
  64. I am SO SORRY for all of you who have experienced miscarriages. I can't imagine it.

Sara, you're right of course, I got mixed up with the rise of preemie births. I know some people say that some pregnancies are not "meant" to come to term, and that may be an okay argument in the abstract, but when it comes to an individual situation, how can the parents and doctors NOT do absolutely everything and anything to try to save every single wanted child?

"Yet is it fair to say that all liberals simply want sex, taxes and welfare?"

Um, that pretty well sums up my political beliefs. :) I hate the polarization of our country, so I'm sorry I participated in the bashing - I really did mean it just in fun. "Some of my best friends are conservatives," LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ice--thanks for a nice and articulate post.

Plot--just as you have the right to your opinion, conservatives have the very same right. Even if you don't agree with it. I'd go point-by-point re. your post but it doesn't seem appropriate to hash this out on a gossip site, nor do I think you're open-minded enough to listen to anything you don't agree with. Best of luck in life!

    ReplyDelete
  66. "just as you have the right to your opinion, conservatives have the very same right. "

But not all opinions are equal.

Are you saying that a skinhead's opinion is just as valid as yours? Or a communist's?

Look, I know this is just a gossip board, but ENT brought up the subject.

Actually, I love real conservatives like Andrea Merkel and Barry Goldwater. Too bad the Republican party decided to back corrupt leaders who depend on public frenzy to get "elected" rather than sound gov't and fiscal responsibility.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Plot-I won't go toe to toe with you on issues either, but you asked whether a skinhead's or communists opinions are just as valid as mine and my answer is a resounding YES!!!

This is America and EVERYONE has a right to their opinions. We have a right to hold them and their opinions in complete and utter disregard, but our men and women have been fighting for over 200 years to secure that right and I for one appreciate the sacrifices they have made!

Anyway-let's get back to the gossip-does anyone know if Dennis Miller is national? I could actually see a young girl attracted to him...he's good looking, smart, funny, etc...I would, however, be very disappointed in him if he was, in fact, dating her when she was 17.
Whoever it is...very sad and I hope the person is outed!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Actually no, his subject was about a conservative radio host and an underage female. I don't recall the blanket condemnmation of an entire political party part. Mayhap you could point that out?

Okay, your opinion carries far more weight than any conservative opinion and it's more valid. Is that what you wanted to hear?

    ReplyDelete
  69. I used to love Dennis Miller, but now he just seems creepy to me. Comedians tend to be a weird lot, don't they?

    ReplyDelete
  70. I don't think Dennis Miller would be considered conservative. I think this is one of the obvious right-wingers - Rush, O'Reilly, Glen Beck....

    ReplyDelete
  71. Again, it has to be someone single because otherwise the clue would be shocked that X cheating on wife with 18 year old blah blah blah

O'Reilly and Beck are married. Limbaugh is single but has a gf who is in her 30s.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Dennis Miller, I have learned, is national radio now, and DEFINITELY right wing!!! No doubt about it!

That said, he seems happily married with two young children to a model, so not sure if that counts him out necessarily, but it sure would be shocking!

Guess I'll have to go with Rush-he's divorced (again!) and it would be really shocking, not just that he would be dating someone underage, but that someone underage would want to date HIM! Ewwww!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I was hoping it's not Rebecca, then came to the conclusion it wouldn't be a blind since they've already announced it and so would have to announce the miscarriage at some point. So it's probably Eva or possibly Courtney. Whoever it might be, so sad. Happened to me once, and it really screws up your emotions. I'm sure it's the hormones combined with the sadness, but it's still pretty awful. kisses and hugs.

    ReplyDelete
  74. if # 2 was not a conservative, I would so go with Keith what's his name on MSNBC. ego issues often result in way too young girlfriends.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I agree that the miscarriage blind is kind of out of line. I'm sure for a lot of us, it hits pretty close to home. As a matter of fact someone very near and dear to me may be having one as I type this. She had to go to the ER this afternoon. Anyway it is a very sad thing and something that probably should remain private.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Bill O'Reilly fucks em young.

Jack was iced by the mob because Bobby double crossed them. Bobby was iced by Ethel for fucking around on her. Bobby iced Marilyn Monroe after he knocked her up because the cunt threatened to tell Ethel. Rosemary's frontal lobes were iced by Dad in one of his little "experiments" gone bad.

And I iced that cunt Mary Jo K. because the bitch threatened to tell Joan. Stupid cunt could swim, but I held her fucking head under water until she shit in the water and then died.

And I now return to my regularly scheduled programming of drooling uncontrollably and soiling my Depends. Because I'm Dead Kennedy and, like Rosemary, I am fucking brain damaged.

  77. #2 Rush L. I hate his show on KFI, he is a retard. Bill Handel is cool
