NY Daily News Blind Item
Which newly single TV personality tried out his sonorous baritone on young co-eds while vacationing in Mexico? "He was bouncing between college girls like a pinball," says our spy. "His son was there, and it was embarrassing to watch." Even worse, we hear there were no takers.
Hmmm, Brad Garrett is whom I immediately think of when I read "sonorous baritone..."
ReplyDeletewhat about sugar ray? He's been replaced by Mario Lopez on whatever hosting gig he had, right?
ReplyDeleteBrad Garrett popped into my mind, too...his wife file for divorce in 2006, but if he is the correct answer, maybe the divorce was just recently finalized?
ReplyDeleteNope, divorce was finalized in '06.
ReplyDeleteWho else has a baritone?
Dunno...but it also says "TV personality" as if it might not be an actor, per se.
ReplyDeleteIf it is BG, I'll bet he's hung like a frickin' horse!
sorry...mind's in the gutter today...
I have no idea who it is, but Brad Garret is way more bass than baritone, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI was under the impression that his real voice was much higher than the baritone he uses on stage.
ReplyDeletedon't hassle the hoff
ReplyDeletehoff dont have a son.
ReplyDeletePaul Sr from the OCC? lol.
Jimmy Kimmel?
ReplyDeleteJimmy Kimmel
ReplyDeleteAlan Thicke?
ReplyDeleteHulk Hogan?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Hulk Hogan's son is still in jail.
ReplyDeleteHogan's son is still in the clink.
ReplyDeleteselena- doesn't matter if Brad Garrett is hung like Paul Bunyan, I wouldn't want to see that man anywhere near naked.
And it's TV personality not actor. So Hulk is probably a closer guess.
I like the Jimmy Kimmel guess.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.
Sonorous=loud, deep, or resonant, as a sound -baritone=between tenor and bass
ReplyDeleteI had to look it up - it can also mean rich sounding or eloquent.
Does that help anyone?? Doesn't help me since my first thought was Kelsey Grammer and he's not divorced ...
Thank you, Stacy. Adjectives are our friends! Given that and Sam's comment that the deep voice may not be his real voice, BG may be a good guess. Clearly, I'm not a fan of BG's or I'd know that.
ReplyDeletehow about a game show host? they have to have the voice. my first thought was Alex Trebek, but he doesn't fit.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Kimmel could be, he's got a son and he was married in 1988. I'm trying to get the kid's age.
ReplyDeleteKimmel's daughter is 16, so the son could very easily fit with the teenage son description. I vote for the big Jimmy.
ReplyDeleteoops, re-read the blind, and it doesn't say anything about the son's age.
ReplyDeletegene simmons??? didnt he recently become single? def baritone and son fits the right age/ profile....?
ReplyDeleteGene Simmons has never been married and I hope he didn't split with Shannon, but if he did, I don't think this would be him because it wouldn't be out of character for him to hit on young women, and he still seems to get his share of takers. I don't think Nick would be shocked to see his dad hit on women.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I don't think Mark McGrath would have too much trouble getting a gal into bed. She just has to leave her halo behind.
ReplyDeleteUm, does Pat O'Brien have a son and is he newly single? I can't imagine anyone in her right mind wanting to sleep with him! :-p
Meow! ^..^
I don't think Brad Garrett qualifies as "TV personality."
I like the Jimmy Kimmel guess, but even though I wouldn't go near him with a 10-foot pole, he's popular with the kids and I think he could bed a girl if he wanted to.
Awww, c'mon, dnfrommn! I'll look first and tell you all about it, then!
ReplyDeleteOtehrwise, I am really liking the Jimmy Kimmel guess.
I'm also really liking the Jimmy Kimmel guess...his son turns 15 next month.
ReplyDeleteDr Phil?
