Which dog-ugly sportsman left the Nuts Babe Search party early after failing to pull? His looks didn't put girls off. His tackle's a bit lacking, apparently....

I wish I had taken British language classes in school so that I could understand this one.
ReplyDeletePull = score/bag/get laid after meeting someone in a bar or at a party. There's an American word for it, but it's escaping my mind right now.
ReplyDeleteJe ne comprend pas.
ReplyDeleteHe failed to SCORE with a bimbo 'cause he got a tiny pee-pee, lol (that's how I'm reading it anyway)
ReplyDeleteLance Armstrong is a sportsman, but I REFUSE to believe it would be him. Is the "tackle a bit lacking" a reference to the fact he's a fisherman? Is that a sport? I think there is a clue in "dog-ugly sportsman" but I can't figure it out.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lot for such a little blind item. No pun intended! :)
The person who wrote this is a graduate of the Ted Casablanca school of writing and English.
ReplyDeleteI would have said Wayne Rooney but he just got married and his missus wouldn't let him go to something like this. Tackle implies footballer. (Translation - ugly footballer goes to down-market lad's mag party and went home unfucked, due to tinymeat.)
ReplyDeleteLike all the Daily Mirror BI's this makes no sense. Those trollops would screw anything and sell the story.
pull - hook up/score
ReplyDeletetackle - penis
I would have thought Wayne Rooney too - looks like Shrek!
I think this was a nursery rhyme.
ReplyDeleteId say Rooney, hasnt he been known to cheat and not just with the old prostitute?
ReplyDeleteoh boy, he is very urgly!

Shrek
ReplyDeleteI got a kick out of the term wedding tackle when I first heard it years ago in relation to Liam Neeson. I still giggle when I see the term used.
ReplyDeleteDog ugly? dont they call Wayne Rooney the bulldog?
