Today's Blind Items
I would expect this kind of behavior from this B- list film and whatever else he can get actor who used to be an A list television star. I did not expect this kind of behavior from this C list television and film actress who is the offspring of true Hollywood royalty. Despite our actress being married, it hasn't stopped her from going out with our actor whenever possible and isn't shy about expressing her affection towards him in public. We can only imagine what they are doing in private while the hubby sits at home waiting for his wife to return.
mariska hargitay and... matthew perry?
ReplyDeletetori spelling
ReplyDeleteMariska?! Say it isn't so!
ReplyDeleteBridget Fonda and...?
ReplyDeleteNo way. Mariska is an A- TV star, minimum. I would say she's A list.
ReplyDeleteugghhh...I don't know but all of this talk of cheating is making me sad.
ReplyDeleteHow about Joely Fisher as the actress? Not sure where she fits on the A-D list, though.
ReplyDeleteJennifer Grey
ReplyDeleteAnnabeth Gishj
Juliette Lewis
Joely Richardson (or is she divorced?)
Joely is divorced
ReplyDeleteAnnabeth Gish is not related to the acting Gish sisters of the silent film era, FYI.
ReplyDeletehagertay...
ReplyDeleteHargitay is NOT C list. No fucking way.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Jaime Lee Curtis and someone? I'd hate to think she'd ever behave this badly, but she is a true child of Hollywood. I'd also hate to think of her cheating on Lord Christopher Guest (he of the House of Lords back in England, for real).
ReplyDeleteI could go with Matthew Perry, but the girl is difficult. Child of Hollywood royalty does not describe Mariska Hargitay, who is the daughter of Jayne Mansfield. Not royalty. For true Hollywood royalty, you have to go with big names. There's Drew Barrymore, who did just break up with her boyfriend, but doesn't do tv. Jennifer Grey - not sure I would call Joel Grey Hwood royalty. Bridgit Fonda - does she do tv?
ReplyDeleteJoely Fisher is a good guess, fits the description.
So other choices -
Alison Eastwood
Gwyneth Paltrow
Amy Redford
Natasha Wagner
Jordan Ladd
Laura Dern
Jennifer Grant
Tatum O'Neal
Tracy Nelson
Mira Sorvino
Candice Bergen? That'd be a little shocking....she's definitely the daughter of Hollywood Royalty. Is in both films and television. Not sure about C-list....
ReplyDeleteFor the guy....Ted Dansen? No idea.

ReplyDeletei like the mira sorvino guess
ReplyDeleteMira won an Oscar so I can't imagine it's her
ReplyDeleteErr, meaning because she won an Oscar, she can't be C list? Cuba will be happy to hear that too.
ReplyDeletedave- touché, your right. I went back and looked up C list.
ReplyDeleteC List Stars--- May have once been A/B; Can put in excellent performances, but lack the consistency; either due to performance or poor choice of project. May court tabloid coverage, may need to put some clothes on!!! Matthew McConaughey, Denise Richards, Pam Anderson, need I go on?
I know Mira did a Lifetime movie a while back.
Heck, Mira did a guest spot on "House"- granted it was the post-SuperBowl episode that got fantastic ratings, but still...a guest spot on tv.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the web, Jennifer Grey is considered "Hollywood Royalty." She's done both TV and film.
ReplyDeleteBut "true" Hollywood royality -- wouldn't that indicate both mother and father or one of the parents being a legend?
What about Tim Allen for the guy?
ReplyDeleteJoely Fisher is married to a cinemetropher and has two kids. She truly is from Hollywood Royalty. Her mom was Connie Stevens and dad is Eddie Fisher, who was once married to Elizabeth Taylor and Debbie Reynolds. Her half-sister is Carrie Fisher.
I can't see these two together, though.
Also thought of Jenna Elfman, who married into Hollywood royalty.
kate hudson can be hollywood royalty, but she's not married anymore and she's dating lance armstrong
ReplyDeleteHow about Patricia Arquette, I wouldn't see her behaving like this...Although, I don't know if she would be considered C list...
ReplyDeletedefinition of Hollywood Royalty in my logic....
ReplyDeleteYou would have to be either 3rd generation from one lineage, like the Douglases, or from both parents like Jamie Lee Curtis and Dakota Johnson.
This one is really good, but I can't seem to put my finger on either one.
Also, I think Enty was insinuating that Mila Kunis is wasted. DO you think she is a blind item somewhere?
ReplyDeleteDear Ms Snarky....awesome list!
ReplyDelete1. Mariska isn't a film actress
ReplyDelete2. Mariska is gay.
thanks, red! But I have to thank the awesome Internet.
ReplyDeletethanks, red! But I have to thank the awesome Internet.
ReplyDeleteDakota Johnson is no way the child of Hollywood royalty, unless Don Johnson has been crowned in some small Pacific nation without it hitting the tabs. Mel G. probably makes the cut. Tippi should get some sort of recognition after having all those birds peck at her head.
ReplyDeleteI see that I just contradicted myself, since I guess you can be descended from Hwood royalty on only one side. But I don't think Dakota's married, and doesn't work enough to really be considered any kind of list. One random tv show and a film with her mother. Thank you, wikipedia.
ReplyDeleteSo that leaves her mother. But I can't picture Melanie stepping out on Antonio. She seems pretty smitten. But she did have a regular gig on a really random third level cable show, so she actually fits the description.
Anyone who would cheat on Antonio Banderas - well, lets just say if I were an aging actress I would not cheat on Antonio Banderas, should I be lucky enough to be married to him. Definitely not MG.
ReplyDeleteHmmm - toughie! Who's a guy "B- list film and whatever else he can get actor who used to be an A list television star"? Pierce Bros? Dunno - skew older - Steve Martin? Robin Williams?
ReplyDeleteThe "C list television and film actress who is the offspring of true Hollywood royalty" - "H. Royalty" almost always means Drew Barrymore, right? She's had some horrible C films recently, yeah?
Stumper, for sure.
Joely Fisher and Brad Garrett?
ReplyDeleteHere's a picture of them together at the Wall-E premiere.
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry, didn't see that ice angel had already posted the Joely Fisher guess. I'll just prop up this guess a bit by noting that nothing says "offspring of Hollywood royalty" like being Miss Golden Globes 1982.
ReplyDeleteI like the Brad Garrett / Joely Fisher guess.
ReplyDeleteHe won an Emmy for Everybody Loves Raymond, so he could totally be former A list, sort of. I would have called him a B TV star, but that's just me. And he was in a couple of not very good films. Plus, B list totally, he was the grand marshal for a car race this past Feb.
Joely's done lots of TV and random movies like Inspector Gadget. She's married to a cinematographer with 2 kids. And they've been photographed in public goofing around.
I think sara's hit it. Excellent guess.
It looks to me like Mila has put on a few pounds...but that could just be from having the munchies. Living with Macaulay, I think I would need to be high too.
ReplyDeleteI'm avoiding actual work, so I have a little free time to research the Brad Garrett thing. There's the obvious thing that he and Joely work together as hubby and wife in Til Death, and he's doing a reality show called Dating Brad Garrett. Hence the comment in the BI about "whatever else he can get." Sara is clearly brilliant. and props to Ice Angel, but Sara got the Brad part too.
ReplyDeleteI guess there's no choice but to go back to my actual work. damn it.
i think you guys have this woman confused..of maybe i do. Joely Richardson is on nip/tuck, right?
ReplyDeleteJoely Richardson is on Nip/Tuck and is an accomplished British actress, but she does come from Hollywood Royalty as well.
ReplyDeleteWe are talking about Joely Fisher, the daughter of Connie Stevens and Eddie Fisher. Joely did not find out Eddie was her dad for years and when she did, hunted him down, knocked on his door and said-here I am! She didn't even know Carrie Fisher was her half-sister until AFTER Star Wars came out and she learned that she was half-sister with Princess Leah. I guess that means she is half-twins with Luke and Darth Vadar/Anakin Skywalker is her other "dad."
BTW-Diane actually thought of the Joely Fisher guess-so all the props go to her, not me!
I'm down with the Brad Garrett/Joely Fisher thing.
Natasha Wagner fits. She was on Law and Order: CI for a while, and has small bit parts in movies. Fits the royalty and C-list description. I think Matt Perry would get a movie nod, though.
ReplyDeleteUhh, sorry, but starring on Law & Order: SVU does NOT make you A list. Mariska Hartigay is clearly eligible for this one.
ReplyDelete
