A Little Mush To Go With Your Snark
So, I'm sure that many of you have seen the hugging lion on YouTube. This morning on Today, the original owners of the lion were interviewed. Really great story and in the beginning of the video is the clip from YouTube as well.

Aw, just added "Born Free" to the queue...
ReplyDeleteEverytime I see that I cry for awhile. I have to see it only every 6 months or more, lol.
ReplyDeleteI JUST watched this 2 minutes ago for the first time- how funny you are posting it Enty. Love this video.
ReplyDeleteChristian the lion is long dead, but what a life he had - yet it speaks to kindness of human's, and how much more needs to be done about wild animals sold as pets anywhere. It is wrong to do and most wild animal pets have very tragic ends. Most of the end up in private hunts and sometimes just paid to be shot in their cages, which is like shooting pets. Many of these hunts are done in Texas, it's just revolting.
ReplyDeleteI loved that both men spent the rest of their lives helping wild animals and set up conservations of their own.
fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI can't stop crying now...
thanks Ent.
Cry my eyeballs out every time I see it!
ReplyDelete('Course, the sappy background music doesn't help much either, does it?!?)
My first thought was imagining the wild animal funk emanating off the cat when they went back to find him. They probably bathed for days getting the stench off!
Gyah, how cool would it be to tumble around with wild cats. So cool but yet so deadly...
Damn Youtube allergy always makes my eyes leak.
