Redmond O'Neal Escapes Jail Again
Redmond O'Neal who is the 23 year old son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal plead guilty to two felony drug possession charges and got 3 years probation. In 2005 he also plead guilty to two drug possession counts and didn't get jail then either. Lets see. Redmond is 23, and by my count anyway he has been to rehab twelve times in the past ten years. Yep, he went when he was 13. Great family isn't it?
It's not like he was out on the road or working. Nope, he was just sitting around at home, hanging out with his friends and had such attentive parents that he managed to get hooked on heroin and coke.
"Hey what are you doing in that bathroom?"
"Trying to find a vein?"
"OK, but don't be too long because I need to do my hair, and then your dad wants to talk to you about the time he and Melanie had sex and made your sister watch. We're making popcorn."
Redmond will be back in court next month for a judge to decide if Redmond needs to go to rehab. How about some jail time? Huh? It's obvious rehab hasn't worked, so put him in county for a year and let him get clean that way. Maybe, just maybe then he will be able to stay clean. Rehab isn't going to work. He has spent more just on rehab and drugs in the past ten years then most people would earn working full-time over that same period.
Our "celebutard on Hillbilly Heroin" withdrawls?
ReplyDeleteHa! I saw the headline, then looked at the picture and thought to myself "how'd that guy manage to escape from prison? I figured he must've squeezed his way out between the bars. :)
ReplyDeleteI have heard the Melanie and Tatum story but not the one that included Ryan. What's the story?
ReplyDeletedear god, these poor children of hollywood .. if it isnt drug and booze, its infidelity .. and this is all that they seem to see from their parents .. no wonder they all wind up on the rehab carousel .. makes my dysfunctional family seem normal ..
ReplyDeleteis this the boy from the blind??
ReplyDeletedonna...no kidding...i'm going to call my mom and thank her for being "normal"...
ReplyDeleteI know he came from a reaaaalllly fucked-up family, but the whole addiction thing is totally hereditary. I don't know if they've proved it yet, but no one could convince me otherwise.
ReplyDeletedrug fug. i want a maternity test! i see some ryan but no trace of farrah....
ReplyDeleteLOL @ drug fug
ReplyDeleteSoemthing in that boy's DNA did not match up right.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of John McEnroe somehow, right around the thuggish underbite. Poor kid.
those are some serious forehead creases (even with the smirk expression) for a 23 year old
ReplyDeletethese people are so completely f^cked up
ReplyDeletethe brother Griffin lives in some apartments near my house with his strung-out knocked-up baby-mama
the police are summoned often for domestic disturbance
FF used to be a pretty clean person until she hooked up with Ryan. Everyone who comes into contact with that family just gets sucked into the vortex.
if you added up all the rehab trips of Tatum Griffin and Redmond I'm sure it would be at least 100
@ lynne - OMG! you're right!
ReplyDeletedef a striking resemblance to McEnroe
the plot thickens.
also, I agree that addiction is genetic
Twenty-three is so young. Where does he go from here?
ReplyDeletePoor kid.
ReplyDeleteEL i love when you make up fake conversations between people. It makes me giggle :)
ReplyDeleteAnd he has a different mother than Tatum & Griifen. So is this all Ryan's genes?
ReplyDelete"I need to do my hair"
ReplyDeleteHA fucking HA! LOL.
He has Farrah's nose. F*cking trainwreck of a family. Donna, not ALL of the families here are messed up. The majority are normal so we never hear about them, and frankly, forget they even exist.. which is the way it should be.
ReplyDeletePoor kid never had a chance. Farrah may have been able to spawn a decent offspring with any other man than that creep. He should've never had kids. He's evil with kids. Poor things!
ReplyDeleteIt's the curse of being an O'Neal. I guess we'll be hearing about Griffin O'Neal any day now.
ReplyDeleteHilly billy heroin is Oxycotin. It's not Redmond, he's using heroin - well not if he's getting probation again, he's been testing clean or he'd be going to the pokey.
It's interesting how all of Ryan's kids are addicts no matter who the mother is. I am relieved for Farrah's sake, and that may have been the mitigating factor for the sentence.
Please tell me the 'made your sister watch' story.
ReplyDeletezandra: Oxycontin? No way! I thought it was meth or something equally cheap n' easy to get a hold of (hence the "Hillbilly" heroin nickname). Oxycontin! I never would have figured that out in a million years. The things I learn hanging around here. I've been corrupted. Ha ha! As if you guys buy THAT one!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy I'm not a member of the O'Neal family tree.
ReplyDeleteno way "hillbilly heroin" is oxy. i've had oxy after two of my "bionic surgeries". i think you may be thinking of vicodin, which even when my neighborhood was middleclass white (YUPPIES) the stuff was being passed around and sold. my brother in law just spent 5 days in the hospital getting clean from vicodin (!!!) and he's in a higher tax bracket than we are! not to mention he's spent 5 months dealing with pain as opposed to my 5 years, and i never got hooked on anything, but i digress.
ReplyDeletethe o'neal children have spent a a helluva lot of time in rehab. enty can correct me if i'm wrong, but just taking drugs isn't illegal. buying, selling. holding, driving while high, all of that, = jail time.
this is most DEFINITELY parental misdoing. if he really went to rehab at 13, the parents should have been in trouble. anyplace but hollywood, right?
i got a phone call from the district psychologist once because i accosted my child's teacher once,
asking her why she didn't question why my kid had $80 cash (which she had stolen)--- and my kid was "visibly upset for the rest of the day". um, yeah. kid was in big trouble, stole money from her brother's room. but, she was crying, so i was the bad guy.
but in hollywood, i could have sent her to school with drugs to pedal and would have gotten a gold star for promoting career advancement.
sorry for the rant. this shit just pisses me off. duh.
