I'm 15 And Miserable

Could Miley Cyrus look any more like a stereotypical 15 year old? Disney got her in the rolled up shorts and yellow shoes with the knock kneed awe shucks kind of look that had executives grinning from ear to ear. Miley has the look on her face that say I have to be here and am getting paid a great deal of money but if it were up to me I would be kicking Minnie's ass right here.

Hannah Montana is a brand and right now Disney is just trying to save that brand as best they can while they decide what is going to happen in the future. To me, the photo episodes of the past few months have shown that someone in Miley's camp knows this Disney thing isn't going to last forever, and so they have been gradually getting American families used to the fact that Miley is almost Jamie Lynn Spears' age and therefore will be getting pregnant soon. That would be just jaw dropping wouldn't it?

I love in the bottom photo how the photo is supposed to look random and candid, yet somehow every color of the rainbow is represented in the photo. When Disney wants to do politically correct and to suck up to parents they sure know how to do it well. Combine these photos with Miley being banned from the press line at an event last night and you have the perfect spin.

Look for some kind of Kneepad Magazine Double Issue featuring Miley at home, visiting kids at the hospital, playing free shows, attending church, playing touch football with the Jonas Brothers, talking about homework, supporting the military, a USO tour and anything else that can get the machine back on track.

  1. Wow, you nailed it Ent. I guess Disney hopes we'll forget her perfect posture on all the red carpets at award shows. Knock kneed, lol.
I guess it wouldn't be so much of an issue if she wasn't such a cam ho at all those shows, doing everything she can to be photographed numerous times like a kid playing dress up.
When I was at the beach last year with my bf and his family, the nephews and niece stoppped everything to watch Hannah Montana. Of course, the oldest was 7 at the time, but wow, those kids worshipped that show.

  2. They have her looking all of 12 in that top photo, Ent. All fresh faced and angelic. They could probably get another three or four years of Hannah Montana out of her if they could keep her like that.

But they can't. I don't think she'll stand for that.

Kids don't get it. If I were in her shoes, knowing what I know now, I would smile pretty, wave for the camera, rake in the big bucks... sigh...

  3. I like her. I hate to see her being crucified as she is a money making puppet for Disney and her family. I bet when she's told to "jump" her only question is "how high?" She's 15 and I bet she's been through more crap than most of us will go through in a lifetime. The fact that she has a bazillion dollars does not make her life wonderful. A concept a lot of people don't get.

  6. I like how she is dressed so demurely
with no make-up. Quite a change from her "leaked" photos.

  7. I agree with IndigoBiatch.

Her Di$ney pics were soft core kiddy porn it's not okay for 15 year old girls to pose in such a sexualized fashion (or give the impression that they are fresh out of bed)!!

  8. i don't judge 15 yr. old children. i save that for her parents. of all the photos that i have seen, the one i fine the most disturbing is the vanity fair shot with her dad. to me it's sexual. maybe it doesn't bother anyone else. think about a father/daughter relationship, that pose says girlfriend/boyfriend to me.

  9. Hi Ent, any word on Disney's asian campaigns? I saw a pic of a billboard with a little girl in undies holding a minnie mousesock puppet was it?
The hypocrisy is getting right up my nose. A child is a child no matter what country they're whoring them out in.

Disney kids are getting out of hand regarding what's right or wrong. Britney's sister was what 15 or 16 when she got pregnant did her popularity go down. Now this Miley with her pictures which I blame the parents not the photographer. Who will be next?

Ugh, I absolutely DETEST it when people say "She's been through more in her years than you'll go through in a lifetime." Oh, is that so? I think thats an insult to regular people who haven't lived a mere fifteen very pampered and sheltered years.

  12. Yeah, I DETEST it when people with a giant chip on their shoulder grudge hold because they see "pampered" where there may be money. I wouldn't want to be 15 and being leered at by all the perves in Hollywood, Disney, not to mention just the general population. I am grateful for my regular people upbringing and DELIGHTED not to be perceived so unfairly as this girl obviously is. She's been thrown to the wolves and some people don't give a sh#t.

  13. 1. jamie lynn was nickelodeon.
    2. disney did not set up those pix. the parents manage the kid, and they signed off on them, not disney.
    3. disney is mad as hell about those pix. sure, uncle walt is spinning in his grave, but she's about to get her little ass fired, if she hasn't already.

  14. Bionic bunny--Vanessa what's her name from High School Musical was all over the internet butt naked for the entire world to see. She may not be anyone big to us but if you have kids they know who she is, and High School Musical is huge among the younger kids. Those pictures were taken at home, and sent to a boyfriend and contained zero in artistic content. Vanessa is currently still employed by Disney. Why fire someone for being covered in a sheet?

  15. I still think someone at Disney was behind the Annie Leibowitz Vanity Fair shoot, you know Annie was contracted by Disney to do the Year of a Million Dreams series for them.

I still suspect some young exec who wanted to try to make his name known decided to set up this shoot with Annie to help further promote the Miley Brand, except it got out of control.

  16. I think the difference between Vanessa Hudgens & Miley Cyrus is that
Vanessa is over 18, & doesn't go around preaching about Jesus. Miley is still 15, is from the deep south, & posts everything on YouTube for Jesus. Those 3 years & no religious hypocracy makes a big difference.
