Today's Blind Items

#1 - This aging comic B list actor with a very famous marriage and divorce was so coked out at a party over the weekend that he never stayed in one spot longer than 30 seconds. By the end of the night he was drenched in sweat and had gone through his entire stash.

#2 - This lesser known B list actor of an acting family has always been considered to be the good one. Married and allegedly happy to a celebrity, his marriage is on the rocks. The main culprit is a little rock that he can't get enough of and which he got hooked on thanks to someone very close to him who is not his wife.

  1. Well, the first one is Robin Williams. I saw a photo of him from this weekend where his shirt was soaking wet with sweat. Wow. PeePaw needs to stay off the blow.

    ReplyDelete
  2. #2 - My initial thought was David Arquette, but I wouldn't call him B-list.

    ReplyDelete
  3. 1-Mike Myers or Eddie "Baby Daddy" Murphy

2-One of the Baldwins-Not Alec or Stephen, the one married to the Phillips girl??

    ReplyDelete
  4. #1 Robin Williams: Just announced he's divorcing and online picture of him covered in sweat HERE

    ReplyDelete
  5. Double Wow, I just saw Entys post below about Williams divorcing.

    Its Him For SHure!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Anonymous1:16 PM

If its a Baldwin, I'll bet ol' Pissy Cornflakes Alec got him hooked on it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. #1 = Robin Williams

#2= William (Billy) Baldwin (husband of Chynna Phillips)

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wow - today's are really easy.

Obviously, Robin Williams for numero uno, and Billy Baldwin (married to Chynna Phillips) for the second one.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Moose, I think it's Billy Baldwin too.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Robin Williams and Billy Baldwin. Not surprising in either case.

    ReplyDelete
  11. What about Alec Baldwin for No. 1? Comedic actor on 30 rock, famous marriage to Kim Bassinger, more famous divorce/custody battle...and maybe he's the one close to Billy for #2...

Originally I read the part about no. 2 getting hooked on the rock by someone close to him and not his wife to mean that he was having an affair...but you put the two together and it makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm not sure I'd consider RW's marriage "very famous". Besides, he's got a long history of coke use so it's not exactly a blind item, right?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I believe indigoblue is right about Alec being #1 (not staying in a spot longer than 30 seconds = 30 Rock) and brother Billy being #2. Good guess!

    ReplyDelete
  14. I might need to amend my first guess, cuz "30 seconds" could very well be a clue - 30 Rock = Alec Baldwin. What do you guys think?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I was thinking Tom Arnold for #1...

    ReplyDelete
  16. How about Emilio Estevez for #2, with Charlie Sheen as the one who got him addicted.

    ReplyDelete
  17. My first thoughts mirror most everyones - Robin Williams and Billy Baldwin - Wonder if his other brother that was in celebrity rehab got him hooked??

Ona side note - dlisted & TMZ are saying that Richie Sambora HAD HIS DAUGHTER IN THE CAR WITH HIM WHEN HE GOT PULLED OVER FOR DUI!!! Un-frickin-believable!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Like many of you, I immediately went to #1 Robin Williams and #2 Billy Baldwin.

As for Richie Sambora, what a jackhole.

    ReplyDelete
  19. If Billy Baldwin is B List, David Arquette must be too. It could be him.

But I love the double Baldwin answer...Alec and Billy.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I thought once you won an Oscar, you were always A list. Doesn't that rule our Robin Williams?
(okay, I'm usually just a lurker here, but thought I would ask)

    ReplyDelete
  21. 1) Charlie Sheen

    2) Donnie Osmond

    ReplyDelete
  22. considering Robin williams' soon to be ex was once his nanny i'd say that's a famous marriage for scandal sakes.

agreed on 2- Billy, hooked don rock from Daniel. fat bastard.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Alec Baldwin is not "comic actor". He's doing comedy now, but he's also well known for some great dramatic parts as well.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Also, winning an oscar guarantees B list, according to enty, not A list. I vote Williams.

    ReplyDelete
  25. What did the other Osmonds do to make them "bad" if Donnie is the good one? Leave the cap off of the "pearly whites" toothpaste? LOL! That was a great guess, mandythegreat, it just made me giggle a little at what bad deeds the other Osmonds are committing. tee hee!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would never consider Robin Williams B-List. His resume is very impressive (Let's ignore Death to Smoochy). I do love the pic of him being a sweaty mess. It reminds me of the Kevin James stand up when asked why he was sweating and Kevin answered that he just peeled an orange.

    ReplyDelete
  27. agree on #2 Billy Baldwin with Daniel Baldwin being the person getting him hooked.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Tom Arnold for #1 (VERY famous divorce from Roseanne) and Billy Baldwin for #2 with the assist from crack-addict brother Daniel.

    ReplyDelete
  29. laura-

when i ready Casey Affleck, I thought, "wow...good guess. The really close person could be Ben OR his wife's brother...Joaquin Phoenix. ???

    ReplyDelete
  30. Me too on Billy Baldwin immediately for #2 (brother Daniel...well, we know his deal).

Real shame. Maybe brother Stephen can have a "come to Jesus" meeting with them and get them straight.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Eddie Murphy. None of the ones being mentioned have famous marriages and Alec Baldwin isn't considered a comic B list actor.

The Baldwin married to Chyna Phillips.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I like the Baldwin brothers for both.
I just don't think RW's marriage constitutes as a famous marriage and divorce

    ReplyDelete
  33. LMMM1969- I think it's a brilliant guess, I am kinda sad everyone is ignoring it for a Baldwin

    ReplyDelete
  34. WTF happened to Richie Sambora's face? Was he in a fire or something?

    http://dlisted.com/node/24821

    ReplyDelete
  35. Casey Afflect IS another good guess.

    ReplyDelete
  36. did you guys already do guesses on Lainey's Blind "How he Holds Her?" I might have missed it.

    ReplyDelete
  37. My first thoughts were:

    Robin williams
    Casey Affleck

    ReplyDelete
  38. kellysirkus- i think a little was done this morning in yesterday's blinds comments
I know I guessed Riley Keough

    ReplyDelete
  39. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I just noticed that ent got rid of the chat rooms. YAY!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Robin Williams is not divorced yet and his first divorce wasn't a "famous" one. Marcia just FILED for divorce.

And Robin is an multiple award nominee/winner. And, despite the quality of much of his work over the past decade, is not an "aging comic B list actor".

And remember: comic actor and comedian are not the same thing.

(pet peeve: I HATE when they tag actors who do comedic roles as "comedians" when they're just actors who do a lot of comedic roles. It doesn't mean they're funny as people. And actors who excel in drama are not referred to as "dramaturges"!)

    ReplyDelete
  42. For the Lainey, I think it's Anne Hathaway. also did you guys see her post about ryan/Abbie being preggers. The way it reads sound like she is revealing Condom Free Sleaze

    ReplyDelete
  43. I like Tom Arnold for #1 Isn't Robin Williams A list? Plus, his last divorce wasn't famous.

I'm also liking the Billy Baldwin guess for #2.

    ReplyDelete
  44. @IMM1969 - yes, I caught that reveal, also. I think we had guessed him for the sleaze, but I thought it was Abbie who was forced to have the AB - I guess there were others, maybe all those hostesses up in Canada. He does sound quite sleezy! Part of me was thinking Kate Hudson, and maybe Owen is still holding on to her. She def looked preggers a while ago, and she has her mother's shoes to fill. or has she already surpassed her mom's fame?

    ReplyDelete
  45. kellysirkus - ohhh...Kate Hudson. very nice guess. Ryan does seem SO gross to me as well. sidenote, what do you think of Reese & Jake. Real or Fake?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I was going to say Robin Williams for #1, but it says he has "a very famous marriage".. which I wouldn't agree with. Everything else seems spot on though.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I immediately thought of Tom Arnold for #1. I thought I just saw something on TV recently about his strange behavior while out one night and he was muttering about Roseanne. Plus, his marriage and divorce was what made him famous. Don't forget, he also is an admitted addict. My money's on him.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm liking Tom Arnold for #1 as well. Robin Williams is a tempting guess but I'm not sure he's B list.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anonymous5:05 PM

I'm on the Tom Arnold train.

    ReplyDelete
  50. i'm not sure tom arnold is b-list, is he?

but i really like casey affleck for #2 (i liked billy baldwin, esp because daniel is such a dick, so it wouldn't surprise me, but i don't think he's ever been b list, has he?). i think it might fill us in a bit on what's been happening to ben lately...

lainey reveal: totally ryan, but i'm still curious about who's the girl on the side?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Based on some very good points ruling out R Williams (the marriage wasn't famous at all) I like Tom Arnold for #1. . He's built up a solid comic actor film career in the past few years. Sad about the cocaine.

    ReplyDelete
  52. @ 69 -- may I call you 69? great.
J & R - just as real as anything else in this town. Even non-celebs here have fake relationships and for them that is their reality. Who are we to say otherwise. I def do NOT think Reese is lesbian in deep white picket closet. I think, if anything, she just wants to take some time off from dating and being scrutinized and this is an easy way to do it. Plus, I think they are truly really good friends, whether or not they are anything more. So in a way, they can hang, and travel and have fun and then go home and laugh about how funny this whole thing is. Either way, it's safe and warm and comfortable for them both. That's REAL and that's good. They both seem like pretty decent people, other than being in this Psycho Industry.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Laura, I'm with you...Casey Afleck for #2.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Laura: I SO thought of Casey Affleck right off the bat when I read #2. So sad if it's true!

As for Robin Williams not having a famous marriage and divorce...he left his first wife for his kid's nanny (whom he then married and apparently now is divorcing) years ago. Surely I'm not the only one who remembers what a big deal this was at the time? As for the idea that he is a comedic actor rather than a comedian--well, he certainly started out as a comedian and made his living that way for many years (pre-Mork and Mindy), and he also helped found Comic Relief with Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal. How does he not qualify as a comedian?

    Peace, all!

    ReplyDelete
  55. And for the non-news item of the day, Kimora has (finally) filed for divorce from Russell:
    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20186565,00.html

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm really feeling the Baldwins here, because he says "30" and "rock", which I realize is not completely solid evidence, but it sways me. But my big question is which other Baldwin is considered B list... is Billy the one on Dirty Sexy Money? (I know, I could look it up, but I like asking you guys. Plain facts are just so snark-free.)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Anonymous8:41 PM

Robin Williams looks A list to me. He has headlined and/or made so many films excellent:

    The World According to Garp
    Good Morning Vietnam (Oscar nom)
    The Birdcage
    Mrs. Doubtfire
    Aladdin
    Artificial Intelligence: A I
    Dead Poets Society (Oscar nom)
    The Fisher King (Oscar nom)
    Hook
    Awakenings
Good Will Hunting (won best supp Oscar)

I left out all sorts of things we all know (Popeye, etc)

He is aging, a comic actor AND comedian, a known coke fiend and his wife just filed for divorce.

If you can argue him as B list, then it totally fits, or B list is a deliberate mislead to make it a blind item

    ReplyDelete
  58. The prob with Rob is that you really can argue him as being either A or B list. Acetomato is absolutely right that he has had a LOT of commercial and critical success, but in many of the movies where he has achieved that success, he was not "the" star (e.g., Good Will Hunting, Aladdin [with Disney being the star in that one!]). I thought the definition of an A list film actor is one who can open a movie on her/his name alone, but I'm not sure that he has done that in quite a while. Given the long list of near-dreck that Williams has been involved with the past few years (e.g., RV, License to Wed, Robots, Man of the Year, Death to Smoochy, Bicentennial Man, etc.), I tend to think of him more as currently B list, but formerly A list. He's a toughie, and one who would serve as a great example for EL to classify for us in his "rating" system.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hooray hooray! everyone on the Casey Affleck train!

I dont care how sleazy Ryan Phillipe gets, to me he is still the gorgeous boy in the blue shirt at the top of the escalator in Cruel Intentions. I ignore anything else about him. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Hey everyone! What's with all the Casey Affleck guesses? I've never seen any gossip about him or heard any bad press; what have I missed?

    ReplyDelete
  61. I was wondering the same thing, j-mo.

    ReplyDelete
  62. From 3/9/08 on CDAN under post about Marion Cotillard, where Jax had been arguing with Trix on her comments about Canadian culture. After addressing Jax, Just Saying is speaking to Trix about one of her comments:

    just saying... said...
Jax- now don't go all painting us with the same brush as Trix.

I am 100% proud American and 100% disagree with Trix's approach.
Just because you are passionate and disagree doesn't mean you need to stomp your little feet and act like a toddler insulting other people.

I counted 4 really insulting and plain immature responses in your small paragraph. Not only did you insult Canada but what is that about an India man reading the news? why is that worthy of note to you?

Most of the time you are a great contributor but sometimes you act like a child who didn't get her own way and that is a shame.
We're all adults here having a debate of sorts. Your should try it sometime.

Off to make dinner for my proud American family.

    4:32 PM

Jax claimed that she posted under Just saying's name last week because JS is a coworker sharing her computer. Later she amended it to say it was a back to work client sharing her computer to gain computer skills. She was rude, insulting and bullying when she was busted, and many rushed to her defense.

A quick perusal of the comments over the last month show "Just Saying" expressing irritation at Adrian's "spam" and several times in a contentious back and forth with Trix, also accusing Trix of being Anon, Some and someone else.

Pot calling the kettle black, Jax? Or are you going to claim that this client is an American who travels to your office and consoles you on your own computer?

For all who say "who cares?" (TS, Molly), just remember that the big accusation by Jax et al. anytime there is a criticism made is that there is a lone troll, who is either Trix, Some, Anon, or the latest, me (right, Molly?).

Jax is pretending to be someone else, commenting to herself, how weird is that?

I can't stand hypocrites that say "F- you" and try to intimidate people when they feel threatened. The latest attack, no doubt, will be "Get a life," but consider the source.

    ReplyDelete
  63. P.S. Okay, back to guessing the blinds!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Good article, very good work. Congratulation!

    ReplyDelete
  65. mcq,s link for #1 is right on. An article about Robin Williams' divorce and showing him with wet with sweat.

    #Billy Baldwin for two.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I've got the answer to another blind!

    Trix also posts as:
    Some
    Anon
    Mia
    Trentb

Multiple trolling personalities we all get to ignore from now on.

    Back to guessing the blinds!

I think this is Robin Williams and thats why enty put the pic up and posted news about the divorce.

My first thought was Billy Baldwin but I'm liking Casey Affleck more now.

    ReplyDelete
  67. way to stick up for yourself trentb! I find arguing w/ yourself on the internet odd as well

    ReplyDelete
  68. I should point out that Mia went back in time and trashed people here last night:

    https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=37309174&postID=1129393862927494385&page=1&isPopup=true#form

and trentb did the same thing last night in this thread.

Not too obvs that they're both the same freak!

Eh, ehinkle, you must not know the history here but this person is doing the constant attacking not defending herself. And it's trix who attacks under various names.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm just saying that it is weird to have an argument w/ yourself and I think it is funny that Trent called her on it. I don't really care about anything else. I read this site when I can, but I typically am working all day so I don't spend a lot of time online. That's all... going back to my day off of work.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Anonymous7:24 AM

I'm saying no to the Casey Affleck guess. Summer Phoenix doesn't count as a celebrity and the blind would have mentioned her acting family as well. Ben isn't as big a bad boy as the Baldwin bad boys, so I'm with Billy Baldwin on this one.

    ReplyDelete
  71. How about TOM ARNOLD?? Famous divorce with Rosanne. I think hes going through another divorce now. I saw him on a late show recently7 and he seemed very coked up. Super hyper and sweaty.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Tom Arnold for #1; Robin Williams is a solid A lister with an Oscar win. Neither of Williams's divorces were noteworthy.

William Baldwin for #2: Casey Affleck. Summer Phoenix isn't a celebrity.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I agree with Bippy - Tom Arnold is C list, not B.

    ReplyDelete
  74. following that train of thought though dbf, Chynna is a singer from a famous family. Wouldn't the blind have mentioned that?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Anonymous9:02 AM

Chynna counts as a celebrity though. Summer Phoenix doesn't.

    ReplyDelete
  76. hey jmo and shiny special -- you're right about not hearing any dirt on casey, which is why i think #2 is him (the blind says he's known as 'the good one'). and i think summer phoenix counts as a celebrity, just by association.

    still not sure about #1...

    ReplyDelete
  77. no on the casey affleck... he is a vegan and ardent social activist. it seems unlikely he is hooked on anything other than tofu pups. and summer isn't famous. her family name may be known but she is a stay-at-home mom. not a celebrity by any stretch.

the baldwins seem to fit much better. those brothers are just teeming with addiction.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I don't agree with Robin Williams or Casey Affleck. For one - Robin Williams divorce is not that big of a deal. He is not married to a famous person and they were never in the tabloids. There are a thousand coke heads in Hollywood so it could be a variety of "comedic actors". For two - Casey Affleck is not married to anyone famous either. Summer Phoenix does not count. Not many people have even heard of him until this award season anyways. I don't have any good leads either but I do disagree with the majority of people echoing that they believe Robin and Casey are "it".

    ReplyDelete
  79. 1 - Tom Arnold

2 - Stephen Baldwin (maybe Billy, but I lean to Stephen); Brother Daniel Baldwin, known addict

    ReplyDelete
