Robin Williams Getting A Divorce

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Marsha Garces Williams filed for divorce last Friday citing the always popular irreconcilable differences. I think that anyone who is married to Robin Williams is going to have differences, and to have survived them as long as she has, shows that the woman has incredible patience and stamina, not to mention a love for all things hairy.

According to rumor and rampant speculation, the couple have not been living together for many months, and that this has been in the works for quite sometime. I think as the story evolves there will be lots more to come out which should be incredibly interesting.

Any blinds about an a-list actor and his non-hollywood wife? :)

  2. DN, how about a blind about a married hairy guy who was shaving his arms for his new girlfriend?

  3. LOL TS - that's the one I was thinking about too - I think he was a popular guess.

  5. I couldn't stand being in the same room with him for two minutes, much less 21 years. Go Marsha!

  6. jlb, I think someone even found pics, no?

See what happens when you marry a man who cheats? He cheats again.

  8. LOL twisty - that's the first thing I thought of too. Obviously the answer to an old blind.

You know the old saying - when a man marries his mistress, a job opening becomes available (or something like that).

  9. I had a family member that was a hollywood insider. She told me back in the late '80s that Robin Williams had a scorching case of herpes and that he spread it around (and around and around). Ugh.

  10. I wish I could find that old blind, because it is obvious that Ent is revealing it by the "all things hairy" comment.

  11. i was thinking about the BI regarding the A-list comedy actor who had the traffic accident while the girlfriend was in the car and he was supposed to be somewhere else at the time. something like that anyway. most popular guess was sandler i think.

  13. HBO gave Williams his first big break, right before "Mork" started. A couple of years later Eddie Murphy was about to go on stage for a taped concert in DC -- Williams called him in his dressing room and told him HBO was cheap and he could get more money if he held out. So Murphy did, briefly. Wotta pro.

Mrs. Williams #1 is probably giggling right now.

  14. Wasn't the current wife the nanny for the first wife and Robin was caught cheating with her? It was a long time ago so I could be totally wrong here, but I seem to remember that being the case.

I've never liked Robin at all; he gets on my nerves at the speed of light.

    Reese - Wife #2 is/was the nanny.

I guess old habits die hard hahaha.

  17. I always pegged Robin as the BI about the actor who beat his wife.

  18. Yup, Twisty; No matter if a guy marries or who a guy marries, if he cheats, then he cheats. Nothing changes that.
Enty, come on now. You know California has 'no fault' divorce. The only other choice for a reason besides 'irreconcilable differences' is 'incurable insanity.'

There was also a blind about someone who had slept with so many waitresses that he was running out of places to eat where he wouldn't run into an ex-fling. VD gets around.

  20. I thought RW for that coke BI right away too, before I even saw the article. Go figure. I feel sorry for all of them, she knew he was married when she was the 'nanny' and now there are kids involved. Nice.

  21. lainie, that doesn't ring 110% true to me. i realize its not cool to be a williams fan anymore, but i have been since the beginning, maybe its just an old fart thing.

anyway, the way i remember it, he first played the alien mork on "happy days" in the seventies, and mork and mindy started in the seventies, too. i recall his first HBO appearance as a "young comedians" special (one i can't find anywhere, i believe it had to have been about the 4th or 5th one) that was shot in 79? 80? 81?
i know its a minor detail, but didn't mork actually make him famous???
and yeah, i was pissed he left his wife for his nanny when it happened. as to the sweating, the man sweats. has in every concert i've ever seen, clean or dirty.
