NY Daily News Blind Item
Which 8-year-old son of a daytime TV personality told gossip reporters on the red carpet that he had recently come down from bed to find his famous mom drinking margaritas on the terrace? "She told me she was going to do the dishes, but she lied to me!" the tyke complained earnestly.
I'm going with Kelly Ripa.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Wiki, Michael is going to be 12 this year, so that would DQ her.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable!
ReplyDeleteRosie has an 8 year old boy...
ReplyDeleteDid Rosie go to the Horton Hears a Who premiere?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like it. Getty images has her most recent appearance in February. NYDN doesn't keep blinds that long, do they?
I thought Kelly Ripa too- even thought Michael is 12, she has another son named Joaquin who is younger....but I think he might be closer to 5 or 6?
ReplyDeleteEither way, this story is hilarious!!
Rosie mentioned on her blog recently that she was drinking a lot. I am going with her on this one.
ReplyDeleteRosie O'Donnell's son, Blake is 8. And I would consider her a day time personality.
ReplyDeleteAnd the who gives a shit award goes to....some woman putting her kid to bed and having a margarita is NYDN gossip? WTF?

ReplyDeleteKlown, I think it's printed as something funny, not as a scandal.
ReplyDeleteHell, moms tell white lies to their kids all the time - otherwise we might be bad influences on them....lol.
LOL twisty..., a toungue in cheek repsonse makes sense, but you know someone like that blue haired troll (or is it pink now?) will pick this up and make it into an issue.
ReplyDeleteIf Rosie was my mom, I'd start drinking too! Being drunk would help with having to look at the nasty kunt all day long.
ReplyDeleteGosh, Klown, which troll is blue-haired? I only know of one or two trolls and only one posts currently...and I'm not sure what color her hair is...lolol.
ReplyDeleteOr are you talking about a troll beyond the trolls we have here?
kid should have demanded Nyquil.
ReplyDeleteTop Shelf.
I think it's Kelly Ripa. She is always talking about Margaritas. And maybe, just maybe, the kids age was estimated. She also has a daughter, Lola, who should be about 8 or so.
ReplyDeleteWas the kids gender estimated, too? ;-) The blind says it was a boy, and Lola is a girl.
ReplyDeletetwisted - I think she meant perez
ReplyDeleteDN, oh duh me.
ReplyDeleteYou cool kids always have to bail me out...lol
Thanks, Perez wasn't even on my radar screen. And now that he is, I don't want lunch. ;-)
Twisty, are you saying that these blinds are completely truthful and never have mistakes in them? I say, yes, the gender could have been wrong and the age could have been wrong. It could have been something that happened a while back. It might not have even happened at all. It's gossip. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, NO! I just don't think one this short would contain an error, but if you do, go with it. I was more or less teasing you because you mentioned an error about the age. You didn't say anything about an error with the gender, too.
ReplyDeleteBy now you should know I like to tease people here.
I think this is kinda cute and funny.
ReplyDeleteMargaritas at that time of the morning?
ReplyDeleteIck.
I'd have a cosmo.
Was it morning time though? It just says the kid came down from bed. She coulda put him to sleep and snuck off for her margaritas, and then he didnt stay put. I'll agree with you though, margaritas arent a morning drink--I'd rather have a mimosa or bloody mary!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...put kid to bed and then sneak off for the margarita...I've never done that...EVER. :)

ReplyDeleteBecause, you know, making a margarita would make too much noise - the blender and would wake my kid up.
ReplyDeleteI grab a beer from the fridge instead. :)
personally, i never bothered putting the kids to bed!
ReplyDeletebut then, i was the founder/pres of the parrot head club, (local) so the kids were expected to pitch in! :)
ah, those were the days. wish y'all coulda been there!
i just got a blender for my bday..margaritas all around and no friggin kids!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I prefer mine on the rocks. No blender noises there.
ReplyDeleteI was laughing, too. Sometimes things get so technical on here and it's funny. I imagine people up all night researching and I've done it myself. And then I think, "Hey, what if this didn't even really happen?" But I still love the blinds. That's how I found this site. I googled blind items because Ted C was all I had known. Now I don't even check there anymore, cause I get 'em here anyway. And better ones. And better comments. Cristy
ReplyDeleteGotta love children!
