So this new video from Gnarls Barkley was banned by MTV because it didn't pass the Harding test which apparently is used to see if you are going to suffer a seizure when you watch it. My question is, who developed the Harding test, and who were the guinea pigs? I did feel a little ill after I watched the video, but I put that down to the fact that Justin Timberlake is in the video.
MTV shows videos?
ReplyDeletelol kevin
ReplyDeleteActually, since I didn't see much flickering, it must have been the black-and-white spinning stripes in the backdrop.
Here is more about the Harding test.
Love it! Great song!
ReplyDeleteI saw Gnarls Barkley live last spring and it was awesome! It's a shame crazy got so overplayed because the first album was excellent.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best song I have heard in a while. I don't listen to the radio or watch MTV because I have a 10-year-old I want to keep innocent for a while. So I am way out of touch. I love it. I will have to go listen to more of this Gnarls Barkley.
ReplyDeleteGreat song, fun video. Love the 80's vibe.
ReplyDeletei actually had a seizure in august, so i'm afraid to watch it. my cat scan was clear and everything, and we don't really know what caused it, and don't REALLY expect it to happen again, but i really don't want to go back there.
ReplyDelete'kay?
hmm. TMI?
lol kevin -- He was on MTV before - anybody remember when the big guy was a dad on Super Sweet 16? lol.
ReplyDeletebut the video is kinda boring
