Sacramento Kings Cheerleader Scandal

These photos seem to be causing an uproar in Sacramento. I think they are pretty tame although I am sure the Sacramento Kings organization is not particularly fond of seeing their cheerleaders drinking alcohol while wearing the team jerseys. I believe the owners of The Palms hotel in Las Vegas are also the owners of the Kings which could help explain why the women resemble casino hookers more than actual NBA cheerleaders. You would also think that the owners of an NBA team could find some cheerleaders that were a little better in the looks department. Not exactly Playboy material, but rather more of the Hustler variety. Anyway, it seems like the good photo scandals always happen on the weekend, which is not really a bad thing except it interrupts my 48 hour binges.

  1. Okay, personally I'm seriously confused.
I'm willing to bet that everyone's over 21 (and probably over 30) - it looks like it might have been a bachelorette party or something, so what's the scandal?
They were wearing their team uniforms and drinking?
    Is that a big no-no??

  2. So it's okay to look like hookers and act like hookers (when the owners sees fit - probably at some secret party just for him) - but it's not okay to get caught?? Are they serious??

  5. meh.

They do look like street whores (but not young)

I think there are rules though about the uniforms that's probably the "scandal".

I'm too lazy to track the Blind, I think it was right after Grammy's, the one that caused all the analysis of "betrothed" meaning engaged or married.

  12. I know calling other women sluts just makes it okay for men to call us sluts, but these ladies are TRASHY!!

Also, what scandal? The policy makes sense, but this seems like a major overreaction on Sacramento's part.

    Keep going suckno, I'm intrigued!

  15. El Suckno.. why don't you post these blind item reveals to your blog? People would read them.

Also, who in their right mind would leave Monica Bellucci??

  16. Also, like 90% of these that you revealed were the most guessed names in the comments.

  21. Nick Nolte hasn't been in two Top 15 films the last couple of years. His only contender was as a voice in "Over the Hedge".

OTOH, if Rufus Wainwright is really changing teams...yummy! Yes, please.

  29. The Maloofs, who own the Kings, always refer to Sacramento as "a cow town". Their cheerleaders are certainly heifers, aren't they? Instead of the Kings fans ringing cow bells (as they do at every home game) said bells should be hung around the necks of the cheerleaders. Those women make Rumer Willis look pretty by comparison.

Swearing should be kept to a minimum generally (4) posting on the topic of illegal drug use in anything but a sober, educational, informative manner. Explicitly glorifying illegal drug use is prohibited.

Of particular concern are attacks directed at page moderators. Of highest concern are prominent figures in the field, notably fighters. These individuals are due respect and admiration. If you must post negative comments, these must be respectful, as if you were speaking to the person in question face to face.

  31. Um, I live in Sacramento and nobody is talking about this. At all. Where do you get your information that we're all in an uproar?!

ps. Yes, they are trashy cliches. But what cheerleader isnt'?

Its just wine. The girl with the bottle turned up - that's obviously an empty bottle and she's obviously joking around. Its not like they are going triple shots of vodka or something.

ENT, if Friday is "Full Frontal Friday". then I'm guessing that Saturday is "Young Girls in Questionable MySpace Photos Saturday"?

  33. This just validates the hypocrisy of major sports teams and their owners. They want beautiful sexy women to bounce around so men have fantasies like the ones shown, but if the cheer 'ho's actually pose like that, they're screwed because the corporation has to pretend it's a family-oriented business.

    What bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm still confused.
    Where's the scandal?
Have I become so jaded that seeing those icons of respectability, the cheeri-ho's, having a good time at a party just doesn't shock me?

  38. Isn't this just what cheerleaders do, and is that not why we make fun of them?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Les suckno must have some really intelligent things to say about this....

These women are a clear picture of what's wrong with young people today: A total lack of self-respect and respect for others. Most of you NBA fans (what a waste) will no doubt disagree. These women and the brainless thugs they cheer on are YOUR HEROS... how very sad. The fact is the team pays them to be cheerleaders, and they represent the team with their faces and bodies whether on the clock or not. Being caught on film acting like a complete piece of trash does not represent the team well. Simple.

    Hi everyone,
I've been around since the beginning but haven't commented since the switch, but I got a google account today. Great job with everything the past year or so!

I just signed up bc I have a different p.o.v. - my sister is an NFL cheerleader. I don't know if NBA is different, but at least with the NFL the girls all sign rather strict contracts that include behavior like this. No drinking in uniform etc. is a pretty big one.
And, not all the girls who cheer are skanks! Most (at least on her team) are college/grad student who are lifelong dancers. (and would never be stupid enough to take pictures like these!)

    ReplyDelete
  41. I realize that they have an image to uphold and stuff, but this really doesn't seem "AS extreme" compared to the way the media made it out to be.

It's not like the swat team that took pictures with the hooters girls waving around their assault rifles or anything.

  42. I'm in the sac area too, and nobody here cares either.

    ReplyDelete
  43. dude...is anyone that watches the nba REALLY concerned with the cheerleaders being TOO hot? or maybe "exposing" too much? how many of you judgemental folks actually look at this thing called "the internet" or watch actual NBA games? maybe they arent bent over in their thongs for games, but would you really complain if they were?
