Hmmmm... the only thing I can think of is Jonathan Lipnicki, whom Ent just posted an event pic of yesterday. I realize he's American, but Jerry Maguire and Stewart Little (b/c of Hugh Laurie) were pretty big in the UK, too, so it could be about him?
Other than that, I got nothing. I don't think the DM would refer to any of the HP kids as former child stars, because they're all still technically children/playing teens/in the series that gave them the label. I don't think you qualify for the title 'former' until you're in your 20s+ and you've NOT been playing child/teen roles for a while.
Had to look that one up: caner
ReplyDeletedon't know brit child stars. Emma Watson? Would explain the johnny borrell thing the other day.
Had to look it up, too, DN.
ReplyDeleteFormer child star. Thinking someone older who's a lush.
Could it possibly be Jamie Bell (he played Billy Elliot)? Or how about Daniel Radcliffe - he was a child star, not that he's exactly "old" now?
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Brooke Shields, she doesn't look like a big drinker to me.
ReplyDeleteThis BV's a bit broad, there are loads of former child stars out there. 'Clean cut' probably means a male though.
Okay, maybe I'm a moron, but what in the hell is a "caner"?
ReplyDeleteYeah, what denis said! LOL. I don't know either, nor have I ever heard the term "caner" before.
ReplyDeleteMy guess, The kid from Malcolm in the Middle came to my mind first. Can't remember his name.
hey guys - remember, this is the Daily Mirror, a Brit paper, so likely they are talking about someone British, not American.
ReplyDeleteAlso, dn linked to "caner" in case anyone is interested.
caner= lush, drunk, the Hoff.

dnfrommn has a link to the word. "Caner" = pothead
ReplyDeleteI was thinking Emma Watson.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Haley Joel Osment? Didn't he get busted for a DUI?
ReplyDeletenah caner should be read as the other definition from dnfrommn caner= lush, out partying all the time, bit of a lush at home.
