  2. David Mamet? He has a new one called 'November'. Don't know who the woman would be...

  3. The female lead in Mamet's November is Laurie Metcalf. If that's the case, whatever happened to Rebecca Pidgeon?

  4. Mamet was messing around on Linsey Crouse with Rebecca, so as they say - when a man marries his mistress, he opens up a job vacancy.

Can't see him falling for Metcalf though.

Eric Idle just cast a pretty girl in Spamalot. Oh, wait, that's Clay Aiken...nevermind.

  8. I think it might be Laurie Metcalf and David Mamet too. Their friendship goes way back to the '70s when they were both on the Chicago theatre scene.

  9. I think Matthew Broderick must have cast his bitch, Nathan Lane, in something

  10. I've always loved Laurie Metcalf. She has a true flair for comedic characters. I remember hearing that years ago she was involved with John Malkovich and I was surprised by that, because he seemed so much more intense than she did. Of course, she's an actress, so who knows? Anyway, I know she was married to actor Matt Roth for a long time, so I don't know if this could be her, but never say never.
