i'm so glad kurt cobain is on there
ReplyDeletesurprised, but glad.
Kurt Cobain? Really?
ReplyDeleteNot take away from his contribution to pop culture and the Grunge era, but isn't this the opposite of "GQ"?
is it me, or is JFK Jr sporting a faux hawk? Hot.
ReplyDeleteAh but style is style and it is not common, sadly. Kurt was a surprise though, a nice one. Very nice! Thanks Ent!!
ReplyDeletethey contributed to their own legacies (sp) respectivly but it seems this list is more..Newsmakers than style.
ReplyDeleteI love Kurt but since when did secondhand beat up flannel become stylish outside of the homelss set?
Belmondo!
ReplyDeleteGivenchy and St. Laurent... sigh. Belmondo - Ew, disgusting. Kennedys all have lots and lots of great hair. Somehow I doubt Cobain would have appreciated his inclusion here but he started a huge trend.
ReplyDeleteI can see why kurt is on the list .. he started something in seattle that overtook the spandex and eye liner that so man men of that time sucumbed too ...love you kurt .. rip
ReplyDeleteDavid Hockney? Now I know who "Where's Waldo" was fashioned after.
ReplyDeleteEnt,
ReplyDeletethank you for giving us this eye-candy... REAL men, gorgeous, stylish, yet retaining their personality and uniqueness.. something missing from the over-styled celebs today....
Style and trend are two very different things in fashion..
ReplyDeleteI would give my left nut for some of the dresses Givenchy designed for Audrey for "Charade."
ReplyDeleteWhen Nirvana was at their peak, grunge fashions were on the runways.
ReplyDeleteI adore, adore, adore Kurt Cobain. I guess you can tell that I like the boys who play instruments and need to wash their hair.
ReplyDeleteOh photos of Miles before he looked like the devil on the horse. He looks...dare I say...human.
ReplyDeleteGivenchy not only looked as a young man, but also in his old age too.
ReplyDeleteTed Kennedy????????
ReplyDeleteBarf!
I was waiting for Baryshnikov....but Ted Kennedy, urgh...
ReplyDeleteTwisted---I was thinking the same thing.
ReplyDeleteHis picture startled me. Now I have hiccups.
