Miley Cyrus Sleepover Photos
Everyone all over the internet is making a big deal out of these Miley Cyrus sleepover photos. Are they racy or indications of some lesbian inclinations? Are their clothes off? Hell no. It's just two girls goofing off and eating candy. What should disturb everyone is the fact that no matter what you are doing or who you think you can trust, if you are a celebrity, you really can't. Whoever took these photos was obviously a friend of one of the two girls, yet it didn't stop them from selling the photos or distributing them on the internet. I have a ton of pictures like that from middle school. They were completely and utterly harmless and goofy. Just like the ones of Miley.

ReplyDeleteOne quick point, pursesandpumps - the pictures weren't taken by the paps - they were taken by someone (ie a guest) who was at what was meant to be a "normal" sleepover - personally I don't think whoever took the pics released them, however I'd be wondering about their parents/guardians.

ReplyDeleteI think it's just a combination of the ease and free-photo nature of digital cameras. If someone actually had to develop these photos at a store, I'm sure half of the 'risque' photos we see these days wouldn't have been taken.

I do agree that this photo leak was a plant by her PR people to get her in the news. All of the photos are staged and posed. Those aren't spur of the moment poses. It's like look that HSM chick got press for posing nude, do sexual references with candy to get attention. You have to top her! So pathetic.

But you have to understand that Disney fans feel as if they are the moral authority on society and have to keep everything pure and good. If they don't complain, the world is going to be a filthy, disease ridden place. I swear they must have meetings deciding which pointless cause to tirelessly persue.
Those photos aren't that bad. Stupid? Yes. Completely pointless? Yes. Involving ugly striped pajamas that should be given a citation from the fashion police? Yes. Career damaging? No. She needs a career first past some cheesy Disney show that will last at most one more season. The worst thing about it is these girls are wasting candy. They obviously have no clue what they are doing and it looks stupid. Save the candy for when they are legal adults and have some knowledge of how to make it work. Right now it's just disgusting to look at.
What a shame that people can't be stupid anymore w/o the media getting hold of it and blowing it way out of proportion.

How does someone take something so innocent and fun between friends and turn it into them being lesbians?? They are KIDS just goofing off and having a little fun!! With it in the news that Jamie Lynne Spears is pregnant and Vanessa Hudgen's dirty pictures still moving around the internet Miley's ordeal doesn't even rank in the scandalous department. You know those magazines, they pick at every little thing and try o make it into a story. It'll blow over. It's safe to say everyone who likes Miley is easily on her side. like others said, i'm 15 and i of course have pics like this, and more. i'd just like to say leave her alone! the point of her show is that she can be a star and still have a normal life. which is exactly what she deserves. somewhat close to a normal life. there isn't anything wrong with having some fun is there? the fact that she is a celebrity and role model and that 'the other role model' is pregnant, doesn't mean that she's not a person. stop being so rude!

My guess is that most of the people that are supporting miley, really like miley, and aren't even considering the fact that she isn't the cute little girl that she plays out to be on t.v. We must remember that probably no one on here knows her personally, therefore they cannot know what she is like off the screen. I'm not saying one way or the other, but what i will say, is that in those pictures, she looks like a whore, highly inappropriate, especially for a 15 year old.

They are letting Jamie Lynn Spears finish out her season of Zoey 101 pregnant. They are also thinking of continuing the season after she has the baby. ReplyDeletegood lord! they are calling those photos scandalous?! that is what adolescent / teenage girls do at sleepovers... i'm no lesbian but i did go to an all girls school from K - 8th grade and when we went on long field trips or had sleepovers the girls with largest and / or newest boobs would have boob fights (think 'thumb wars' but with boobs and a complete lack of awareness as to the sexual nature of the whole thing)... its just what we did with our boobs before we started having sex with guys at the boys school down the street... whoever's calling these ridiculously tame pics scandalous needs to look at the Pam & Tommy Lee tape or the Kim Kardashian & Ray J tape - those are legitimattly scandal ridden or these folks need to go through some of their own photos from their own middle school / early high school years...

I still kiss my friends on the cheek, and we all have BOYfriends are not lesbian at all. After reading what everyone has to say...I must say to some of those commenters that you sound very uneducated, judgmental and clueless. I am not one to even care about celebrities, know what popular shows are out, who's dating who and who did that. I only found out who Hannah Mantana was last summer when I was babysitting 3 kids and they wanted to watch her show! Now...the only reason I am even commenting here is because I too, agree with some of you that these pictures are innocent fun. However, I also agree with the other half who says that they are posed. Obviously, the licorice one is posed and they were fully aware someone was taking this picture. For fun? For attention? Not sure. But the facts are, Miley is a 15 year old girl who did a stupid, silly thing as MOST KIDS DO. She is young and naive and most likely, did not realize what harm could come of these picture whether it be playful or provocative.
