Oprah Takes A Big First Step

As I wrote about last week, Oprah had basically shunned the 12 year old girl who first reported the abuse allegations at OWLS. The only contact with the family had been a 2 minute phone call Oprah had with the girl's mother.

The 12 year old had been excluded from every activity in the school, and faced recriminations because of being a whistle blower. Oprah had assured the family that she would come visit them, but had never done so.

That all changed yesterday as Oprah flew to South Africa and met with the girl and her parents for about two hours. Oprah turned on her charm and must have done some serious ass kissing because the girl's father in an interview with Kneepads Magazine said, "Oprah looked beautiful and was so easy to talk to. It went very smoothly." Now how many people believe Kneepads went to South Africa? Oprah kissed her ass, and then had someone from Kneepads give the man a call while he was still counting the money in his hand.

Although the dad was happy things got resolved, he actually seemed more excited about the big end of year party. "I am so excited because we were invited to the end-of-year school party, which will be on Tuesday," the father said. "The other pupils and families knew about the party, but we were never told. So it was a big surprise for us when Oprah asked us to join the party."

One thing is for certain. If Oprah is in charge of the party, everyone is getting a new car and gets to have Dr. Phil stay with them for a week. Rachael Ray isn't included in the package because she can't leave her husband home alone.
